This restaurant had good service in the past. Now it seems they have missed the plot. On a Sunday afternoon youd expect service to be sufficient, however not the case. After waiting nearly an hour for food whilst my friends dishes were done and delivered cold due to waiting for my dish to finish cooking. Not up to par as I know they can be.

Waited a long time for take away pizza. But the Pizzas tasted great thank you!

Lovely play area for the kids. Prices are a bit steep for what you get. But all and all perfect restaurant with kids.

Although I gave this restaurant a 1 star rating, I does not even deserve that 1 star but it is the lowest rating I can give! My wife and I were visiting Sasolburg and decided to have something to eat at a restaurant nearby. We found the Dros in Frikkie Meyer Boulevard. Upon arrival we ordered starters. I ordered the Trinchado Chicken hot. My wife ordered Chicken Supremo and asked if it is spicy hot. The waitress gave us the assurance that it is not hot at all. My wife also asked her what Tagliatelle is and she replied that she does not know but that she think it is the name of the spices. It is in fact a ribbon pasta! We waited half an hour for our food! during that time the waitress did not attend to us even once. Although the restaurant was not even 20% full we waited that long. Upon arrival of the food my wifes food was so hot and spicy that she could not eat it and sent it back. My few pieces of chicken was covered in a thick red jelly like substance. I cannot call it a creamy sauce. It did not even fall from my fork, I had to shake it off. I tried to upload the video I took as proof but video cannot be uploaded. This was the worst food and service we ever received from a restaurant and I still paid for it because I was hungry and tried to make the best of it by eating the few pieces of chicken. I will not recommend this restaurant, food or staff and management!!

Worst restaurant ever. The service is pathetic and the food is even worse. Waited an hour 30 minutes for our food which was bland and taste less, not to mention that the chicken schnitzel was burned and the sauce was lumpy and all you could see was flour. 2nd experience with them and my review remains the same.

We went there for the wine tasting and everything was great and my little boy enjoyed the playground very much.

Good service but the food was bad, bad preparation as well as a terrible presentation. Quite disappointed just a simple burger bad, green salad ingredients not balanced and onions poorly chopped too thick, too much cheese but only 4 slices of cucumber. Im disappointed lack of variety of desserts.

My steak was not tender at all. Asked for mash potatoes and didnt even get a gravy with it. My husband got about 5 slices of chips and his steak was definitely not 200g. It was also not prepared as requested.

A nice an comfy place to bring the whole family. There is a wide selection of drinks and the prices on the food are affordable. There is a large playing area for the children so kids are more than welcome here. There is a slight wait for your food but it is worth it since the quality if the food is good. There is outdoor seating by the playing area if you have small children and there is a designated smoking area by the bar. The dessert options are also good

I was totally disappointed in the quality, the meat was not prepared as requested (ask for medium rare but got rare) and the calamari was done like crackling. The chips were of the bottom of the barrel type, so over cooked. Not the Dros I remember.

The quality and value for money has slipped big time since the lockdown was in full effect. Cost saving initiatives are being heavily implemented: reduced menu, reduced specials and combos yet prices are higher. No value for money and yet another one crossed off my list to never attend again. Disappointing.

Live music on Friday nights. The vibe is amazing. Great bar area.

Love the setup in the bar area. Naturally lit and quite cool and inviting round noon. Had some great steak, egg n chips. I ordered a medium cooked steak and it actually came that way...something you dont really see in chain restaurants. Friendly service all round.

No power once again went to eat out at Dros. Fast friendly service. Eishbein was tasty and juicy not dry as usual. Big smoking area. Ample parking it was raining when we arrived security or car watch met us with an umbrella at the car ,this made the evening

Food was very nice and tasteful last night. But service was very slow and it was not busy at all. Our waitress disappeared for how long and was not clued up with the prices of the drinks and colddrinks. Waited very long for main meal and desert and bill. But your fish special was really good.

It was very quiet when we visited there during the week, but service was good, meal well prepared and value for money. Good for eating out occasionally.

Good food and moderately priced. Plenty of kids play things about and close to outdoor seating. Sports bar accessible inside. Good for groups of friends or family. Try not to order something that is slightly modified than that of the menu listing as this will likely result in a lot of frustration as the waiters usually dont understand or care enough to get it right.

The service was good, the staff was pleasant and smiling and the food was prepared to a high standard. A totally enjoyable evening. I will visit again soon

Service was slow and food is of a sub standard. My childs food came last 20 min after the food for us was delivered to the table,food came 1 by one and livers was undercooked. As quality and service is not there strong points

It was horrible,waited so long for our order that our waitress got so frustrated her superior had to come apologize that there seemed to have been a problem with the outgoing and in coming shift.Something about outgoing shift throwing tantrums in the kitchen.My sons burger,the bun was stale.We ordered chicken and ribs combo,which was basked in so much sauce we both couldn’t finish that food.The chicken was terrible and not fresh at all.The juice served was super hot and so sweet,apparently they mix it themselves.My husband had ordered green salad instead of chips,but they brought chips and later a bowl of the ugliest green salad came it was more like onion saladI’d never go there again,we wasted our money and time but I commend the waitress who tried by all means to keep us happy but the kitchen kept failing her.

Food was really good. Service from waiter exceptional. Unfortunately I could not get coffee despite being a cold winter evening as milk was sour. Alternative was not proposed not was fresh milk purchased. The dinning hall was very cold - could not warm it as the airconditioner was broken.

Worst service I experienced in a long time. Waiter missed the drinks order. Waited 45 minutes for food to come... we were 3 people mine was cold, one guys was okish and we waited 10min more for the other order. Will definitely contemplate before visiting again.

The food was shocking. Day old mushroom sauce that didnt move when held up side down. Potatoes old and scaled. A drinking place clearly. Floors also filthy.
