This place is clean, well kept and very helpful staff. You can get most household items. There is a restaurant on site as well.

A good store always has stock of what we need,not like Woolworths Umhlanga Rocks.

Im not happy with the fact that you stopped selling plastic bags. The grocery bags that you are selling now are very small and expensive. You should consider selling both plastic bags and grocery bags.

This was pure indulgence of guilty proportions. I went to get myself an easy-to-prepare meal that I saw online and ended up leaving with a trolley full of goodies. My trip coincided with a 40% off sale so I took advantage of it. This was my first time buying clothes in the mall in over five years.

Poor communication staff... on the opening after the looting, the floor staff told the customer 25 items max, the cashier says only 1 item per customer... if you wanted just 2 cans of baked bean you couldnt have it.

Huge variety food items. Clean isles. Excellent help from packers. Ive seen the floor manager every other time which is great. There needs to be a greater selection of local produce. Nonetheless, great quality.

In spite of the recent difficulties all retailers have had to endure, I must say that Woolworths have set the bar very high! They have maintained extremely high standards throughout the pandemic and what has been most gratifying has been the fact that they have been spot on with their pricing. ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC SERVICE from Woolworths Gateway yesterday.I have made a payment of R12 000 into my account and its been over a week and still no funds are reflecting. I went into the store yesterday and bought items to the value of R2000 and then was told the purchase cannot be processed. I was sent to customer service and the woman there were extremely unhelpful. Made me call customer service from my cellphone and then ignored me. What rude behavior is that for a WOOLWORTHS store. This isnt a small amount. I then had to pay for cash for my purchase!!!!! Ive made over 5 calls and to date no successful response. This is absolutely ridiculous and is isnt a way to treat your customers.

Terrible customer service from ahzmahish and co... zero courtesy whatsoever to customers. Couldn’t even bother to greet when the store was at fault. Too busy having a fat chat amongst themselves to concern themselves about the customers in front of them. Appalling behaviour from a supervisor/ manager! Knocks the taste right out of your mouth!

I frequently visit this branch. Today found some interesting things. The clothing section had allot of items on sale. Very nice. The food section was the busiest. In my opinion that should be bigger. The lines were very long. An appalling discovery was rotten fruit. Yes. Rotten fruit in Woolies. The clementines were rotten and I picked up 2 bags. Thank God the lady at the till pointed it out to me. When I went to change it for another. I counted atleast 5 other bags with mouldy or smashed and rotten fruit. Its very unusual of Woolies. Please ensure that these items are checked especially on a scorcher like today 30 degrees in Durban. Other than that. Its a great store. Always clean and friendly staff.
