I removed my tooth there and the treatment I received from the dentist and her assistant was outstanding, they gave me good feedback on everything , phenomenal people indeed !!! The entire procedure was brilliantly done !! Choose Gateway dental ! You won’t regret it . (The 2 receptionists at front desk were not friendly at all ,I don’t know why, but anyway..... ) but outside of them , everything and everyone else was great !!! I’d definitely go back there !!

I and my family have been patients of Gateway Dental for a number of years. I have always received excellent care and professional management of my dental program. The practice is well resourced with state of the art equipment and very caring professionals.

Very warm and professional staff from the time you walk in to the hot chair and then treatment and walk out. Dr Naidoo has been my dentist for almost 15 years and he and Saj his assistant is good. Always take the time to advise on treatment plans and i will recommend them. Very professional and up to date technology at hand.

The dentist Dr. Naidoo and her assistant Sunitha were very caring and thorough and did their best to keep me comfortable through the cleaning and scraping. Receptionists also very polite and accommodating.

We are so so happy with our visit with our little Mieca to Gateway Dental. After a very bad experience in our own hometown we found Gateway Dental. We are so grateful for that. As we entered the office we were greeted with so much love and professionalism. Mieca was so scared but immediately they made her feel so comfortable and relaxed. Dr Mohammed and the assistant was beyond amazing. Mieca even recieved a blown up clove (ha ha ha ha). I will drive the extra miles from our town Amanzimtoti to see Dr Mohammed. Guys! I was in Umhlanga after my fathers in law funeral in Pennington. Been running away from doctors telling me I needed to gt root canal so I decided to go to gateway after I saw good reviews AND my experience with them is 10/10 Doc Mahumed was excellent! Hands down the best dentist i have been to. Dr Naidoo takes his time explaining the procedures and what to expect, and it really feels personal. If thats not good enough, how about a zero pain root canal. Definitely go here.

I was on holiday last week and had a dental emergency, I explained my issue to the receptionist, she was so kind and understanding of my situation and I managed to get an appointment within 30 minutes. I was in terrible pain and Dr Naidoo identified the issue and I was explained in detail the situation and what needed to be done to help. In a world where good customer service is very rare, I would like to highlight the care and support that I experienced from all the staff. I would highly recommend them. Whilst waiting i noticed one of the nurses assist an elderly patient to the ladies with such care and gentleness. This kind of service is none existent these days. Keep up the good work. I wouldn’t usually write a review after going to the dentist but after my visit to Gateway Dental, I feel I must. I would like to commend Dr S Naidoo and the Gateway Dental team for the responsive and excellent service when we had to arrange a dental check and cleaning for the whole family. They arranged for the 4 of us to be seen to at the same time to avoid waiting for each other at the end of our appointments. I honestly could not recommend this place enough. My entire family was very pleased with how they were treated. Thank you all very much.

I was introduced to Gateway Dental by my daughter. I was keen on going to them because I saw how fantastic her teeth was looking after Dr S Mohammed worked on her. The staff at gateway dental are all very friendly and accommodating. My Superstar is Dr S Mohammed. She is very caring and gentle with all her patients. She has a lot of patience as well. My previous dentist messed up my crowns and everything was really bad. I was really scared but doctor Mohammed analyzed everything for me and she has assured me that she can fix everything for me. I am forever grateful for the kindness she always shows when I go for treatment. I love going to the dentist now and I have complete faith in her. I would highly recommend Doctor S Mohammed to anyone who needs to visit the dentist.

Professional, immaculately clean and friendly dental service. I attended to address a lost crown done by another dentist surgery years prior. The receptuon staff where friendly and through in noting your medical history After a short wait I was seen by the hygienist for a top job clean and within 30 mins I saw the dentist Dr Naidoo. He and his team made me feel at ease in the chair and did a fantastic job in manufacturing and fitting a new crown in a matter of three hours. Despite living abroad Dr Naidoo and his team are going to be my dental surgery of choice.

I have recieved very excellent care from Dr Sankaran Naidoo and the gateway dental staff. The service and treatment was just outstanding. They understand how it is for a patient to be in pain with there teeth and this team goes the extra mile to make sure you get the best care and treatment needed. Taking your kids to the dentist has always been an anxiety-inducing experience but Dr Naidoo and the wonderful team at Gateway have always made sure my kids are comfortable and happy. Dentist Naritha Haridersad is a terrible dentist, she is EXTREMELY rough, heavy handed, condescending & is a con artist, just trying to make money through unnecessary procedures. A crown which I had done with them over a year ago fell out, so i went in to have it recemented. She claimed it didnt fit so a new 1 was required, yet they are the very dentist I had the alleged incorrectly moulded crown made by, & had it perfectly fitted in for over a year.Also, she refuses to provide any information or feedback & unprofessionally has personal conversations with the dental assistant whilst working in patients mouths.

After having been to my dentist in JHB for over 15 years it was sad when we moved to Durban. But Gateway Dental have been fantastic. They have up to date, modern equipment, very friendly staff, great hygienists and more than that we have now taken our 2 kids there for their first visits. The Dr spent time explaining to them what he was doing and why, so they werent nervous. Our eldest had to have 2 baby teeth removed recently and the Dr was talking so much about his special mutti that she never realised she was having anesthetic put on and then the tooth was pulled out. No tears, nothing. Thank you very much for always treating our family with superb care, professionalism and thought.
