Beautiful, peaceful private campsite on a large lawn under big shady trees. Lovely neat and clean ablutions and washing up area with hot water provided by a donkey boiler. Really nice to have the place all to yourself. We enjoyed peaceful walks along the river and amongst the orchards and the little one loved the swing as well.Definitely worth a visit.Thank you Sarah and family for your hospitality!
What a great experience. The kids loved the great outdoors. They had to make fire without fire lighters, heat up their own hot water in the donkey for showering, explore and enjoy nature due to a unplugged weekend with no technology.Early in the mornings listening to nature waking up whilst waiting to boil water for coffee of the fire was like being in 7th heaven. Thanks for an amazing weekend. You will definitely see us again soon.
Had a lovely one night stay at the campsite. Beautiful spot. Definitely worth the visit
This private, secluded campsite is surrounded by lovely oaks, poplars, pear and plum trees and the odd fig to name a few.We loved the modern ablutions with spacious shower, toilet and scullery area opening onto the stoep area with a donkey for hot water. A nice surprise was the beautiful walk through natural vegetation and the rockpool would make a great picnic site. The overall experience was great!! We are already planning our return.Good luck to Sarah and her husband with this enterprise.Yours,The first paying guests ;-)
Had an Awesome weekend at a Completely private off grid Camp Site. Explored Historical Tulbach streets and Enjoyed a leisurely hour and a bit more walking the vast estate/farm exploring some more. Thank you to the Management and Maintenance team for a Fantastic Camping weekend.
The exclusivity did it for us. Interesting combination of amenities i.e. electricity to power your electronics but also a donkey geyser for warm water. The owners have done a decent job with the ablutions and wash-up setup. Pick Die Eike for shade, tranquality and a superb rest. Visit the wine cellars of Tulbagh and cycle the multitude of trails.
