Upmarket restaurant, good music. The food was not good. Very pricey, we regretted our choice of restaurants. We were 8, all of us did not finish our food. We ordered 4 milkshakes, that were served in ordinary juice glasses, the milkshakes were like melted ice-cream. Limited menu. What a waste of our time and money. They will never see us again.... Worse food.

When you walk in you get a 5 star look and feel but once you order you soon realise that it’s the complete opposite.Service is beyond slow and the place was not busy.The menu is limited and overpriced, you don’t even get a side with a R195 steak. Thats R45 extra.The steak was beyond terrible and you could get a better steak at the entertainment centre!Rather find another place.The only nice part was the live music, the singers were brilliant.

One of the best restaurants I have ever visited. The food was outstanding.... I dont have enough words to describe how much I enjoyed their food..... The entertainment was absolutely fantastic. A beautiful restaurant with well thought out decor of past legends like Elvis and Marilyn Munroe and legends of that Era. What a lovely surprise that their entertainer was so entertaining, loved the way he made up a song to playfully remind all to wear masks on the dance floor, catering for all ages and engaging with all the guests. Not a good experience at all, the staff is very unfriendly. A really small menu to choose from and the food is expensive for the small portions you get.

So table were available. After waiting 10 min we got a table. Then waited 5 min for a waiter. Ordered 1 drink and starters saw our waited with ordering and when he brought food. After that needed to ask for someo else just to bring the bill

Currently were sitting at Legends in Suncity, and for an upmarket restaurant - the service was terrible! Two orders were placed for the baked snails, and both arrived looking completely different! The chefs words were Im not sure why it looked like that, which was beyond shocking! The manager, Bonolo wanted to offer us free dessert. We came to Legends expecting quality and received far from quality. We wont be coming here again. Terrible service.

Restaurant decorated well, food was decent but not for the price, but there are a few issues, for the price, you pay, i would expect white linen napkins, not paper serviettes. Also wine glasses on the table looked small and very cheap, i had to request for bigger better ones when i ordered a bottle. Which was then provided. Waiters also did not understand the menu, when i order springbok carpaccio, she said springbok was beef ??? I think there needs to be a change of thought of what this restaurant is, if it is upmarket, then there needs some improvement in service, and overall look, if not change the price to reflect what it is.

The theme is based on international performers who have became part of the Sun City legacy.Service standards are excellent and our evening was augmented by a talented live entertainer, Clinton Viljoen - who set the pace for a relaxed and special evening out. Well Recommended!!!

When we arrived, it was WOOOOOW. But we waited an hour and a half for our food. Truly inefficient. We were cold coz they would not move us from the table we were sitting at. It was just windy. Listen! It was just a mess.

We had a warm welcome with an amazing waiter - Elias - fun and lively guy.Cool and groovy vibe with a rocking ambience.We were served with a complimentary bread basket with paprika and herb butter.Snail starters was not your usual and was delish.Prawn and calamari starter was average.Chicken liver starters averageVeg bobotie was terrible - not what I expectedCreme Brûlée desert was a disappointment. They tried too hard to make it look good by including something like a Malva pudding and the whole dish was way too sweet.Overall - food was average. I commend them on presentation of the food, service and decor - full stop!

What a disappointing experience!! We made a booking a month in advance to ensure we get a nice table only to phone on the day to confirm the booking and being told they cant find the booking. 5mins later they found the booking. Upon arriving we were seated at a table right by the door which wasnt set like all the other tables around us.... there is no drinks menu (only a wine list) so you must guess what other drinks they may have. All this aside, the menu is incredibly limited and with the exceptionally poor service we received up to that point we had our drinks and didnt bother ordering dinner. Do not waste your time here, there are much nicer restaurants to go to!

We to Legends restaurant last night which is supposedly an upmarket restaurant but that was not the case. I ordered 300g sirloin steak medium however when it arrived it was over cooked and dry we notified the waiter who then called the chef, who apologised and proceeded to prepare another on when it arrived it was done to perfection cooked medium and nice and juicy but there was a hair on the steak. We notified the manager and she just said thank you for letting us know didn’t apologise or offer the meal for free or ask to make us another one. For a so called upmarket restaurant the management is terrible. And the service is horrendous the waiter did not check on us once.The restaurant is overpriced and below average very disappointing!!!

Legends restaurant at Sun city is a fantastic restaurant. The extremely fast service was outstanding and the food was fantastic. The chicken and steaks were really good. The restaurant is really well decorated and the place gives you a really nice vibe. With the Legends restaurant being decorated with musical instruments and famous people

Dont come here!!! Food took over an hour to receive and it was terrible and expensive. I saw our waiter all of three times the whole dinner. Terrible dissappointment. I never received my spinach side. The steak was cold when it got to our table and I had a ribeye and it was covered in some sort of nasty BBQ sauce. Awful experience. I think the chef should be ashamed.

The smoked paprika Ceasar salad is scrumptious.

Ordered a R265 ribeye steak (that is without sides, which are extras)What arrived was a cut somewhere between a prime rib and a jnr tbone ( ribeye is boneless).Anyway I called the waiter , the chef and the manager, I told them it is not a ribeye, but I would eat it anyway. I even showed the chef a picture of a ribeye.At payment time they charged me for a ribeye.....!Anyway I expressed my extreme displeasure , but paid and left the waitresses with her tip. People are RIPPING people off.

The restaurant and the service received from our waiter, Nkululeko, was outstanding. He was engaging, well informed, very accommodating and well mannered. Definite asset to The Legendary. Amazing lamb curry. Overall, a very pleasant evening.

Its got a vibrant atmosphere with loud live music and good decor. Food was ok but the service is very slow. You get the same wine glass, no matter whether its for the most expensive red wine or just for an ordinary white wine.

Great food, great price and fantastic ambience! Service was impeccable! Be sure to secure a booking ahead of time during peak periods as it can get really busy. I had the mushroom and asparagus risotto. We had a great artist performing that got the crowd going. Overall a great experience! Highly recommended it!

The Lamb Shank and Lemon & Herb Chicken fillet was superb. You did it again. Perfect score for service, food and entertainment. We were very surprised to see a kids menu too! 🤗

This was a nice place with live entertainment. The food was good, but the service can be improved. Our orders were mixed up and we were just 8 at the table.

Nice ambiance, lots of memorable photos of celebs and moments of Sun City history. Filled steak was excellent, sides need to be ordered separate. T bone was a bit on the thin side, left me a little underwhelmed. Wines reasonable prices for such establishments. On Saturday the live performance was top class. We had dessert elsewhere, over the top pricy here.

Food always up to standards. A good venue, with live music. Service from our waitress was excellent: she went the extra mile!Restaurant can be slow when they are busy. I was last there on a weekend during peak time, and on both nights, they were full to capacity. Make an early reservation!

Life music, Shade that girl can sing! Beautiful decor creating a lekke vibe but also very classy. And the food just wow! Service was good. Not really a kiddies restaurant, but they made us with 5 toddlers feel very welcome. Definately my next date night venue.

Unfortunately the quality and quantity of food has gone down. Some of decent items has been removed from the menu, like the biltong and cheese sauce.

Look the space is great, very unique and lovely to look at the history of Suncity while dining. But the food isnt a legend, the portions are small for the price, frankly it left a lot to be desired. So much so that we went to mug and bean afterward to eat a hearty and better meal. When I see a restaurant thats mostly red meat, I expect a great deal. And this wasnt up to scratch, youd get more for your money at Spur. On a good note the musician was excellent !

Do you crave pain? Come to Legends. I got my college degree in less time than it took to get our food. I read War and Peace between my starter and main course. The food was average as best. Nothing was worth the prices we paid (higher than any other place we have been in SA). We sat down at 8, it’s 10:30 and we are sitting around like the walking dead praying for this whole painful experience to end. Thank the baby Jesus for wine. If someone suggests you come here, punch them in the face.

I love the lamb shank and oxtail you will never be disappointed with their meals. There is a live band performance for entertainment, drinks are served as well.

The entertainment and food were superb and so we wound up having dinner here twice. The vibe was great with many dancing. Due to the entertainment, this is not a place to go to for a quick meal and quick service. It is an evening of entertainment.

The food was fine...nothing to rave about ....we wanted a rib eye steak but they didnt have one. The live music was very good.

Awesome experiance all around. Services was brilliant thanks Gracie, food was quick and sooo good. Go for the rib eye, had to share there was so much. Yeah its not the cheapest but what do you expect at a casino. Definately worth it!

The decor is very nice. My mom loved the singer. My food was awful. Theres no vegan options so when you leave out ingredients from a dish it doesnt taste great. Alot of the dishes were very expensive and there was a big cochroach running around in the bathroom.

How is ur business still opened that was the question my husband posed to the i don’t care waitress which fell on deaf ears. The beer was a better buy than the steak. Legends I think not, I have never been more disappointed in a meal. 2 pieces of steak a small potion of tasteless veggies and some old dry chips and all that for R500. Not a sauce in sight and no offer from our waitress so a dry piece of steak was all you got.my husband wanted to leave the meal and walk out i opted to take it with especially after paying R500 and dress it up at home. A lesson learnt we will never be back.

They say you learn something new everyday. if you come here youll know the true meaning of hunger. It took me 1 hour and 11mins I learn this feeling.Youlll Also learn that you can pay R170 for a pre-made sauce with Chicken and tinned prawns, a R250 platter with prawns as tough as the Victor Mattfeild, a steak so over-cooked youd think it was at a Wiz Kahlifa concert.Like a wise man once said if someone recommends this place punch them in the face

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES ORDER THE PRAWNS AND CALAMARI. OR THE MEAT. Actually, don’t order anything to be honest. Our food took over an hour and 20mins, and we ate overcooked, overpriced meals the size of starters at most.

Surprisingly average. Our server could only handle two plates and drinks at a time, which is definitely a problem when youre a dozen people. Ostrich was served seriously rare, despite being ordered as medium. Good when youre here, but not worth a dedicated trip.
