Sad that in times like this, these places are only open on certain days. Then when you try The Maze, you have to pay to enter, when all you want to try is the craft beer? I would have thought they would try to get as much patronage as possible in these lean times? Not impressed, so dont waste your time and money try support these craft beer outlets!

Great set up with a view and a gastropub ambience on the inside is a plus. The food was really not up to standard even though they looked great. Wings were mushy with a sauce that didnt appeal the pallete. Chips were soggy and chicken strips had a weird tasting batter. The squid was probably the best meal that Ive eaten.

Service disgisting 🤢, pizza when worse. Store bought pizza base, tomato sauce and cheese. Yuk. Dont waste your time and money. So disappointed. Not even the monkeys would eat it

Poor service .Waited 20 min just for a appletiser on a Sunday. Eventually went to the bar to get it ourselves

Very good value, I dont know what all the fuss is about in the reviews, maybe things have changed, but we were happy with the service and the quality of food, well done keep up the good work.🤗👍

I always try to find something good, in this case it is the location, certainly not the food. Our food was really not good, twice unfortunately!

A craft brewery that doesnt brew beer, no craft beers, only castle light and black label available, terrible food and no service. Huge waste of space, time and money

Definitely not a gastropub. Expect pub grub( below average) served with no smile. Food gets dropped down at your table, of which you have to pay for upfront. Had to ask 3 waiters for cutlery, and on top of that they served me a beer with ice in it as it was warm.

Advertised through out sun city. Looks really cool. You get there to find closed doors. Apparently they just dont open. Wish someone would advise this

Food is a joke here. Don’t waste your money. You’ll only get half the ingredients on what you ordered. This place should just close down so something worthwhile can take over.

Delicious food and great service. It’s much quicker to get a drink out the brew monkey than to wait to be served by a waiter at the valley and there is a wider selection of drinks on offer. The bathroom is also much cleaner than the regular sun city bathrooms. The pub vibe is is really cool.

This place has gone down the drain. Dont waste your money. They serve the same burgers as the Food Factory downstairs at a higher price and the staff are just downtrodden, signs of p-poor management.

Quiet midday Tuesday but service was quick and beer was cold. Burgers are worth the try espacially the Karoo Lamb Burger. Really tasty. Venue is self service in that you order your drinks and food inside at the bar area. Views from the deck over the Valley of the Waves also very nice and provide relaxing atmosphere. Summer beach vibe for sure and just the place to kick back with friends

Cocktails come from a dispenser, but they are good nonetheless. Food is fair, but really over priced. A good place to chill with some mates after a swim in the Valley of the Waves.

Horrible service. No craft beer advised by waitress also no food available. Slip for payment was dumped on the table before even asked for.

Pathetic to say the least, on website advertising a fantastic menu, but today only burgers where available. Did not even had basics like a hot chocolate to serve customers. If valley of waves partners serve only half the menu...Valley of waves entrance fee must be half the price!

Slowest service ever. Only 2 food items on the menu. We bought six beers for 210 Rand cash and got a till slip for 35 Rand.

The Brew Monkey at Time Sqaure Casino is Pathetic!Nobody to greet us at the door on arrival.Had to go get a waiter to assist us to take our drinks order.Ordered drinks from a waiter, waited 20 minutes to get flat beer.We wanted to order food, but rather got the bill and left. As we did not want to take a chance as we waited ridiculous long for 2 beers.The staff and management sucks and needs serious training, and need to up their game and customer skills, especially in a venue like Sun International Casino.And the sad thing is, it was not busy at all!

The Brew Monkey bar was the perfect place to watch the Lions vs Waratahs semifinal.... Some great beers on tap... Suggest you get Fiery Dragon Ginger beer on tap for the ladies too!Didnt eat any food but the snack baskets at the neibiring table looked awesome!After the Valley of the Waves closes there is a troop of Baboons that comes down and looks for left over snacks. Visitors should be reminded to not feed and ensure that rubbish is thrown away. They are led by a huge alpha male, but he didnt bring his ID card so security would let him into the bar :) 0

Clearly doesnt understand what the term reservation means. Didnt call to cancel or anything.Our entire work function was told to get food elsewhere because they have a function for the next day. Manager refused to show their face

Horrible!!!!! Came all the way here to Closed doors on a Wednesday afternoon. No notice, nothing on the website - on the contrary, the website states restaurant is open. I phoned the landline and was even met with attitude. You might as well close permanently

Overpriced, probably to extort tourists. Food was delicious, though we waited more than an hour for it. Cocktails come from premixed boxes, and glasses get filled to the brim with ice to reduce the quantity of liquid you actually get. Waiters were grumpy, and not at all accommodating.

Deserved of all the negative reviews, closed 90% of the time although advertised throughout Sun City, open only once last week during the school holidays but for a private function.....

Great place to chill and food is great

Service is shocking - There are 5 younger waitresses standing and talking by the door but none of them will seat you, older waitresses are much better. There is no wait on the food.. But to be served is a different story. I waited an hour to order a plate of chips and had to get up from my table to call a waitress. I finished my first drink and my glass was taken but nobody ever returned.

Went there today only to find closed doors. No notice anywhere and no one can say when they will be open again. Very dissapointed
