Wattlechop is my favorite place to stay in the area. Tracey and Claire are the best hosts. The accommodation is lovely and the setting is magnificent. I have the most awe memories from time spent at Wattlechop.

What an amazing place and what a fantastic stay we had! Loved every minute of it. The canoes are great for kids to play around in the dam, the lapa is beyond words and the ablutions are clean and sufficient. Highly recommend staying here

This is our 5th visit to Wattlechop. As always the hospitality is awesome. The cabins are very comfortable. We make a point of staying here every time we pass through Stutterheim. Thank you, Tracy, for being you and always putting a smile on our faces.

This place is a jewel in the Eastern Capes tourism crown! Hosts Tracy and Claire go out of their way to make guests feel welcome, the facilities are clean and safe, the birdlife is fascinating - as I sit here under a Willow tree, I can hear a Fish-eagles distinct calls - and the vast garden and tree-shaded dam restore the soul. The fee does not break the bank - true value for money.Children are never bored because there is much to do: canoes, paddle skis, 2 zip-lines (one across the dam) a trampoline, raft-building materials, foozeball, darts, table tennis to name but a few.Highly recommended!

This gem of a place is so well maintained. It is at the foothills of the Amatola mountains. Awesome views, perfect place for relaxation or lots of fun. They have a kiddies foefie slide as well as one for the more brave. The cabins are clean and comfortable and fully equipped. Each cabin has its own braai place. Awesome hosts who ensure everyone is well taken care of. Within close proximity of hiking trails through the Amatola mountains and waterfalls.
