Only one person to assist with vaccinations on a Saturday morning. Unacceptably long wait for well over an hour.

I have visited this practice many times and have seen different doctors. I felt heard by most of them and the one doctor even contacted me personally to follow-up. I have been to other practices in Stellenbosch, but Stelkor doctors have served me the best thus far

Very Disappointed: wanted to make an appointed and was asked to email my details, they never received my email neither did I receive theirs after numerus phone calls… You leave messages and no one ever seems to either receive them or phone back.... Made an appointment and when I rushed to be in-time there was someone else booked for that same date and time...… Their excuse is mostly were using a new system..... Isnt a new system suppose to work better than the previous one? I must say, Ive lost my trust in the reception staff at Stelkor, maybe the doctors has your best interest in-mind, but the receptionist definitely dont seem to care as much...…..!!!!!!!

Feels like they just want you in and out of their practice. There are so many people at this practice, it’s very busy. Not recommended

Doctor Vlok seems indifferent to some of my persisting symptoms, no referral, no treatment. Simply brushes it off like he is busy.Apologies to other doctors at stelkor, you may be better than him.

Don’t feel like any of the doctors there really care about their patients.

I feel like the doctors just want me in and out of their practice as soon as possible, just to treat as many people as possible. I felt like all they really cared about was making money, and not diagnosing and treating an illness properly.

I call on Monday for a follow up for the following Wednesday the order books aren’t open I’m told to call back Friday. I call back Saturday the new system, same excuse as two weeks back, call back Monday.This is for a vaccine where you need three shots on specific dates. Really if you need something go to the dr in Simonsrust. She is wonderful and 10 times better. Plus you’re not told to call back.

DISGRACEFUL!! Would give a minus rating if it was possible!I have never been so disappointed by anyone in the medical profession as this. A week after our visit we received an account that shows we are already 30 days due, yet two weeks later we are still nagging daily for our test results so we can get medication from our personal doctor.I now have to take another day off work tomorrow (9th July) to drive from Bettys Bay to Stellenbosch in the hope that being there in person we can get the test results we have been charged for, but yet to receive!

Appaling service. Got given an appointment with a doctor who is not even present and then reception does not say a thing until I enquire after 20 minutes. And then they have the rudeness to offer me another appointment 30 minutes later.I just have to concurr with all the other negative comments, regrettably so!

Called for an appointment, but when I arrived there seemed to be no appointment made. The lady at reception seemed very confused. On top of that, I got charged almost R1000 (R925.39 to be exact) for a simple GP consultation and corenza C.I will not be going back.

Had an appointment at 10:15, and at 11:00 I was still waiting... Absolutely disgusting to say the least and hands down the worst doctors I have been to.

The pharmacy and doctors are so well trained and give amazing service. I dont have one bad word about them. BUT the ladies at the reception are extremely rude, very slow and by far the worst service Ive had in my life. I wanted to pay for the consultation, something was wrong with the system, gave my email so they can mail the bill. Recieved nothing. Phoned again (I want to pay them!) this morning and they said they dont see anything there with them? I was ashamed to send a friend there and heard he had the exact same experience. HORRIBLE. Those ladies will cost you LOADS of money and make you lose a lot of clients. I will never go back there or recommend it.

RUDE doctors and RUDE receptionist.Firstly, after making the appointment and asking if the doctor can see both my husband and I (and them saying yes we are allowed to do that) the doctor went of on my husband for expecting him to do two consults (mine took maybe 10min, and one pays for 30min).Secondly, after telling the doctor my symptoms of pain in my throat and not being able to sleep because of pain (this was on the Friday) he simply said it’s a normal cold and gave me Corenza C and ACC 200 and sent me back home.On the Sunday I couldn’t handle the pain anymore and went to the hospitals emergency room and I was diagnosed with severe tonsillitis and had to receive a drip for pain and one with antibiotics. There was pus on my tonsils already.Now my body has to endure a strong dosage of antibiotics for the next 10 days just because those unprofessional people can’t handle to be told what I suspected the problem is.I will NEVER go back and NEVER refer someone there. Worst doctors and worst experience.

Last week I went to see a doctor at Stelkor. The doctor was friendly and all, but it still seemed that he just wanted me out of his office so that he can see his next patient. This also reflected in the treatment he gave me as I was still sick after a course of broad spectrum antibiotics - medicine that should be used only in extreme cases and when used the correct antibiotic for a specific bacterial infection. In fact, I was suppose to receive antiviral treatment - which I knew from the many years of study in biology. I then had to go back to a different doctor, only for him to ask why I wasnt given antiviral therapy - a question I sure would love to answer. Needless to say, I wont be going back to these doctors as this would be my third time that I had to go back for a second opinion after first seeing them. One can only give people the bennefit of the doubt so many times.

Convenient and has easy access. Doctors dispense medication while you wait so no need to still go to a Pharmacy.

Weve taken both of our very young children here for different sicknesses and received excellent care from the doctors. The office staff was also very friendly and helpful.

We receiving our bill and when we inquired about some of the items on the bill no one could tell us why they were charging us for them. We refused to pay until someone could tell us why we were being charged for some of the items. Next thing we get a mail in the post bulling us to pay for something we were not told about upfront and they could not tell us why we were being charged for them. Really dodgy dealings...STAY AWAY!

Stelkor might have great doctors but there receptionist needs to be beter trained what an awfull experiance for a sick person.

Just phoned the Dr to ask for info about appointment but the lady at reception was very irritated. She made me feel very uncomfortable. Will think twice to call for info regarding drs appointment. I guess she heard my voice and made a mental decision how to speak to me. Very sad.

An appointment was made by me. After a 45 minute wait I left. Very unprofessional. If they cant even run an appointment schedule imagine what else they cant do. Disgusted.

Stay away. They do niy process claims to medical funds. They then hand over your account to lawyers without warning
