Possibly one of the best in SA in terms of everything. The rooms, grounds and service levels are world class....attention to detail in an older resort is rare.... they all the boxes especially the spa....kudos!

What an absolutely stunning spa!! We had such a great experience from the start to the finish. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Spa area is so clean and well kept. Food was great, just and overall awesome experience. Will definitely be visiting again.

A gorgeous setting nestled amongst the vineyards and Stellenbosch mountains.The treatments are great, with manicure beds setup upstairs with a breath taking view of the vineyards.I was asked 3 times during my day of relaxation to pay for treatments that I hadn’t had yet - that was quite irritating - no one walks around with their wallet once you’ve locked your goods up in the change rooms and you’re in your gown.The food at the spa is ok but I recommend walking across to the hotel for more variety.

If you want real R&R and being pampered, this is the place. Some items on the spa and deli menus also good value for money, especially if you could stay for a good part of the day. A big treat!

Massage was very average, person was rubbing just one spot for 10 min until it got uncomfortable. Didnt do my arms or face, forehead.But what is the worst is services - we called and made a booking for massages and person told us we can use all the spa facilities including pool until 9pm.After massage we wanted to relax on the terrace where other people were (it was 5.30pm), but there was no mattresses and its impossible to sit comfortably in these beds without mattresses. So i asked an employee to bring 2 mattresses, and he didnt. In 15 min I went back to spa reception and asked why no one brought us mattresses. She said its because spa is closing at 6pm,and its 6pm now, people who sit outside are staying at the hotel, and we are not.So I double asked if I understood correctly that I cant have a mattress to sit outside because I am not staying at this hotel because I am just for treatment here (R3k one btw). She said :Yes. So I promised to write a honest review and lady didnt stop me.Anyways, I found accidentally where mattresses were (behind the bar and glass) and put one myself and now enjoying my time outside.It was very disappointing experience and we will never come to Lanzerac spa.

What an amazing experience. Definitely worth 5 stars. We celebrated our 14th Anniversary and what a magical way the spend the day. The Spa and Lunch was absolutely amazing. Most definitely recommend this place. Feel how your stress melts away while enjoying an ice cold beer on the deck after a wonderful full body massage. 😊👍

Its was my second time visiting in 2 years and always enjoying the experience but this time, we had a bit of an accident, due to old wooden step that over the years of getting water just broke and injured my wife. The manager on duty was on and said once we are done with the spa facilities we need to come to her so that she can complete an incident report, we didnt want to spoil our relaxation time so said we will come before we leave. Went we reported to the front desk we were informed that she was not onsite... I feel she should have stayed or come to us to complete the report... I think just because we didnt want the incident to spoil our time she took that for we are ok and left us... Which was not the case.

Gorgeous facilities. Everything comfortable. Massage therapist Antoinette was absolutely professional and the best technique Ive ever had at a 5 star spa in SA. Prices reasonable. The only reason for the lower rating is that management was lacking. Care was not taken in many ways :1. First time to the spa and apart from a hasty aloof this is how the locker works, we were not given a warm welcome nor the spa facilities explained to us nor were we offered a glass of champagne or beverage upon arrival which was actually part of the offering. We felt very out of place and awkward from arrival.2. There wasnt oversight of the facilities - the steam room wasnt working, the snacks upstairs were lacking and depleted early in the day, there were spiders in the yoga mats....

As a woman that does not really have a liking of personal contact i can truly say the day i stepped into lanzerac and from the moment i walked out that the establishment with its staff is marvelous in what they do starting with reception lady Jo-Rene guiding me and my sister and giving the introduction to where to go and what to do, she left us with actually no questions to ask, then the therapist Antoinette has hands of a healer with such a angelic voice because after the massage i felt like i could not converse in human language anyway from my point off view as woman and its daily life s stresses to deal with i would say to treat your body from time to time at a spa is good way of giving relaxation body and mind wise, but Lanzerac specifically did it for me, a very big thanx to all of the staff members that made the visitation so warm and welcoming especially in a time where everyone is stressed and anxious i am definitely seeing lanzerac again.

Mani and pedi caused ingrown nails (I never got it before I went there). They deflected responsibility saying that one treatment cannot cause it, while cutting a nail too short is definitely one of the main causes.Would not recommended for nail treatments.

Spoiled with a pedicure by my daughter. Lovely ambience, overlooking the mountains. Excellent service by all staff. Definitely recommend Lancerac Spa.

Best stress release place

Horrible experience, unpleasant and unprofessional. Made a telephonic booking, was called back to change time of appointment... I also asked for a emaip confirmation of appointment (which i didnt receive). Then arrived and our booking was not made!!. Drove very far and was very disappointed. The service is quite poor...was called by the manager... But no apology and no further information. Not even cold drinking water. Really really disappointed. Would definitely NOT go back... Was excited and expecting a wonderful relaxating day... But all we got we got was a day of disappointment and poor communication.

Stunning mountain and vineyard views, prepare yourself for an indulgence at this charming spa. Large indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, mist spray rooms and hydrotherapy “bath”. Candice was fantastic with our bookings, and all the staff were helpful and friendly. We ordered smoothies (which were delicious) and were only sad that we ran out of time to pop into their Deli on the estate on our way out.

I was gifted a pampering at the Lanzerac Spa and spent a blissful morning there yesterday. The setting with views of the mountains and vineyards is spectacular, the interior design of the spa is beautiful and the facilities great. Nolu was my therapist- I thoroughly enjoyed my treatments, but she is also a beautiful soul with a passion for what she does- thank you! My light lunch was very wholesome and tasty. The staff at the reception and the restaurant are kind and attentive. Alround a top-notch experience.

Nice place, but very poor service. Wine tasting on reservation only, event with almost empty place, service took very long. Personal not really motivated

This farm is very understated by its reputation. And if you know, it has a well known. The service, facilities and wine is impeccable.The spa not only has more offerings than most in the area (jacuzzi, warm pool, sauna, steam room, cool off room etc), it also has masseuse that are of high service delivery. I have a favourite masseuse named Kate in Hawaii and in somewhat of jest I compare all masseuse to her and mostly nobody ever compares. The ladies at Lanzerac definitely ranks up there with Kate.If youre staying at the hotel, enjoy every bit of it. I really enjoyed it. Its comfortable and elegant all at the same time. Id suggest to skip the healthy food at the spa. Its not bad but the other food is better.The gym has everything you would need but please note its open planned.Ladies, thoroughly enjoy the shampoo and conditioner. It made my hair shine and look healthy. The body lotion was a hit for me too. My skin is sensitive and was especially dry after the spa (normal) and the body lotion did it wonders. Btw, bring along your own hairbrush to the spa toilets. It has a parlux hairdryer and ghd.

Facial and massage were nice. But the manicure was the worst I have ever had. Nail polish was probably old as it literaly peeled off later in the day.Cuticles werent cleaned properly.

It was lovely as a paralyzed person as the staff always made sure I was okay by asking if I needed assistance, the facility (Jacuzzi and pool) was accomodating and my Massage was extremely good.
