I did not take any photos but this lovely restaurant in the De Wet Centre Square is just delightful!!! Food is always freshly baked or cooked and the friendly service wants you to stay longer. I can recommend this to vegetarians as well. A good selection of food that you weigh and pay. Enjoy!! I might see you there 😁

Tasty Calamari and Chorizo Rice dish!

Only had milk shakes which were very nice. My problem was the service. A young lady appeared without a smile and without a menu. She grunted, we asked about milk shakes, she listed 3 flavours giving the impression that there may be more but she couldnt remember them. Never saw her again and was forced to go into the cafe to try to pay. Miraculously, she materialised behind the till, presented me with a bill, took the money (including a tip) and all without a word or a smile. Plenty of choice in Stellenbosch and i will exercise my choice in future.

They serve a great buffet over lunch. Pay per weight on your plate. Very nice healthy options

I have only always had wonderful food here. HOWEVER on a black board above the food/lunch you write about how you only use organic grown produce but right next to it there is a can of poison spraying for flies. This is so contradictory. how can you source organic food and then after it is cooked spray it with poison to kill flies. The spray is not even turned away from the food. I have discussed it many times with the staff but they just shake their heads. I think it is unethical to ride the organic story if you are not applying it all the way. Very very sad!

The food is not fussy - just fresh and vibrant and so tasty! The staff are wonderfully friendly, and make you feel special and very welcome. A quaint, peaceful place to sit under the trees with breakfast and a good cup of coffee ☕

Two plates of food weighing exactly the same and costing the same? Thought we were paying by weight? Cashier had no explanation. Food was very good on the positive side.

If you want a good lunch and no fast food then this is the place.

Fanatastic food. They have a system in which you dish the food in the portion you want. Then you weigh it and pay for it. I love this system because it allows me to see the food and choose what and how much I would like. Their prices are very reasonable and their desserts are delicious. I would definitely reccomend this to anyone.
