This is a beautiful estate with a gorgeous restaurant and view.I recently proposed to my then girl friend. The staff were super helpful and assisted me in making the event very special for her.In addition to the above the chef graced us with complimentary dishes and exceptional service. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone.

We did a wine tasting at Delaire today.. The cheese platters were great! Zama assisted us, he is an absolute gem! Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The wines are amazing! Definitely worth a visit!

This is a stunning restaurant set in the most amazing views. I was disappointed that only a portion of my uneaten luncheon was returned to me. It was a pretty hefty price to pay R350 for steak, gratin potatoes and shitake mushrooms, and not all the uneaten steak was given to me in the the take-home bag, and none of the potatoes nor the mushrooms.

The spa is amazing and the service at the restaurant is phenomenal BUT the standout was the wine tasting given by Dillon. He was informative, fun and informal! It was definitely a one of a kind wine tasting and I will go back just for him!

Staff are extremely snobbish and unwelcoming. With tourism down you would think they would have the common sense to change their behavior but nothing has changed. I know what people earn in the hospitality industry- stop acting like you guys are something..

This is a luxurious estate. Stunning views. Food is excellent. Service is good.I cannot give a 5 star due to the fact that it is quite expensive. Locals will find it very hard to experience and afford this place. It is very, very expensive, so please be aware of that.Save this place for those very special occasions and then you must have a budget.

Make sure you have enough time to enjoy these offerings, botanical, viticulture, artistry, cuisine and more. Love the breathtaking Cape Floral Kingdom gardens, from the gate past numerous bronze works of art, up to the top against the backdrop of the magnficent Banghoek Mountain Range. Once inside, awaits another unique experience. This time a rich cultural exchange with South African and African artists whose profound works make up the Graff private collection, note the large acrylic portrait of the owner at the entrance.

Definitely the most outstanding experience Ive ever experienced on a wine farm. Not only is the wines and the service impeccable, but the buildings, the decor, the atmosphere and vibe are out of this world. If you like to eat, full your wallet tipple the amount you were willing to spend...but go and enjoy a wine tasting and food for the soul you will never forget. A 11/10 experience. Well done!

Unfortunately I didn’t take photos of the view because it was a cloudy day, but this is one of the top wine estates I have been to.It is a must visit if you are in Cape Town!

Beautiful setting - great service and great food

We visited Delaire Graff first thing in the morning on our day in Stellenbosch, and we are so thankful we did. Our only regret is that we did not spend more time there. The wine is incredible as is the estate. The service is equally as fantastic. Danny provided our tasting, and by the time we left, we ordered six bottles to be shipped and took two bottles with us. Danny introduced us to more than just our selection, and he was a joy to speak with. Next time we visit Stellenbosch, we truly hope to stay at Delaire Graff.

Lovely wine tasting experience

This is one of the most exquisite estates not only in Stellenbosch but the country. It’s pristine and the views in the mountains is spectacular. The food and wine is to incredible. If you’re into the finer things in life this estate is for you. It’s simply amazing!!

Excellent in every respect!

One of the most magnificent and sumptuous wine estates of the Cape region. The property has annexed a luxury hotel with two restaurants (one of them really remarkable), a spa with swimming pool as well as wine tasting facilities, fashion boutique and jewelry store. The owners are art connoisseurs, therefore the estate is literally filled with amazing sculptures and paintings, it would take a while to see them all. Truly amazing hospitality experience recommended for a romantic getaway. Rooms are simply exquisite.

A great place to sit and enjoy a bottle of wine, together with a cheese board or light meal. Prompt and friendly service. I was very excited to try their wines, Delaire Graff offers a good selection of wines. The setting is beautiful but booking in advance for outside tables is not essential and the lions sculptures. Luxury lodge and the lions sculptures were just amazing.

Quick and Dirty:The only spectecular is the landscape and outlook!I had the Icon Range Wine Tasting for R 270. Neither the Cape Vintage Champagne nor the 2 red wines ( I love red wines) could convince me. To be honest: the tasting was the worst I had so far in South Africa!The winery itself is beautiful situated but the staff and the wine is barely average! That is my taste respectively my point of view.I claim to know something about wine.

We came here a couple of years ago and were blown away by the food, wine and views. Exceptional service and the restaurant was as amazing as we remembered. A great place to celebrate an engagement!

Amazing experience. Food was divine. The attention to detail is inspiring, not only the food but the location and waiters play a very large role in that. A must visit.

Sheer opulence with no expense spared on any of the estates gardens, wines, jewelry, restaurants etc etc... I was blown away by the beauty of this estate..the finer touches is what seperates the best from the good...the staff are well presented & attentive... Although I gather they tend to more foreigners than locals...

I could (and maybe will at some point) write a fair number of details about why we loved Delaire, but the core reason is the service. It is very clearly the mission of the entire staff that you shouldnt have to worry about anything. Youre on holiday.. relax.Laundry? Taken care of. Thirsty? Fridge is full.If your plan isnt to stay onsite, and youre planning to travel around etc. it would be difficult to warrant the cost. If you want to relax and worry about nothing, eat nice food, drink nice wine... I couldnt recommend this place more.

Lovely venue. We sat in comfy banquet style deep cushion seats. There are more wait staff than most places. The menu was compact with a couple of specials offered. Most wine is by the bottle. Sweet and rosé wines were limited. Id go again for the service and the view. Food was only three star.

I grew up in a wine region and love wine but wished our tasting turned out differently. Based on glowing reviews we popped in and got an Iconic and a Premium tasting for a broad impression along with an order of snacks. The wines were consistently thin and cheap tasting and finished in bitter crushed Aspirin aroma... Maybe some snafu in cleaning casks or glasses? Our sommelier didnt seem to have much interest in wine and my taste buds felt like being punished making the premium prices at this estate a cynical joke.Oh yes, the views are nice...

5star service and food. Highly recommend the tasting menu, the staff are great friendly lovely and knowledgeable. The food is amazing and wine pairing was fantastic. One of my best culinary experiences! We also made use of the spa which was also amazing.

Fantastic place to have lunch and enjoy some wine. The staff is very attentive and the every dish we tried from the menu was beautifully presented and tasted great. Plus you also get some spectacular views! It definitely belongs to one of my favorite places I visited during my trip in South Africa.

Top class waitrons, superb finishes and furnishings. Wine not that great. Service was really good. Of course, the view is lovely too.

Probably the best view of the Stellenbosch area. Take a look around at the original works of art on the walls, and follow that up by sitting outside and admiring the work of art that is norther nature. Truly breathtaking views. Come in the late afternoon for the most amazing light.

An amazing experience!We came for dinner, got there at 18:30, when it opened, sat at the terrace for drinks, the view is beautiful and definitely worth the early arrival.We had a few dishes from the ala cart menu, the food was excellent.The service is kind and friendly, the waiter recommendations were on the spot.A great way to end a day in the wine land

The customer service of the Hotel is really poor. No reaction on questions or too late. The staff is really arrogant. If you read this dont book at this Hotel. There are many other better hotels in the area.

Some of the best views at any estate. If you can get one of the guys with the golf carts to take you all the way up, you can literally see as far as Cape Town. The food was also excellent and the service really good.
