No good. We saw the waitress taking something out of the cup of coffee before serving it to us. Also - a very long wait for the food, which was cold when it arrived and the order wasnt completely right either. I wont be back unfortunately

We had the nicest waitress. Like she explained everything so perfect to us. I forgot to get her name but she made my experience amazing

I hardly leave bad reviews, but Maxis Standerton is an exception. I ordered two take-away salads, one costing around R70 and the other R90 (a very high price considering it was 70% lettuce and warm cherry tomatoes). The store was very quiet I waited quite a while but without ill manner. Eventually, I received my food and made my way home, only to open up the takeaway box to be filled with anger and disgust.The salads were bland, extremely lacking in flavor and most importantly, quantity. There was barely anything to actually see, nevermind eat. The amount of salad I received was worth R20 at most. I am horrified at the amount of money being asked for something I could have made at home in a matter of seconds, for a quarter (if even) of the price.Truly disgusted at the lack of pride Maxis take in their food. Pathetic service! Terrible customer relations! Worst management ever! NOT 1 customer in the restaurant during peak lunch hour, says a lot! They should close down!

We had the worst ever service at Maxis today. The service is terrible, waited an hour for the food and it was ice cold on arrival. Maxis at Standerton will never see us again....

Staff verry helpfull,even when it was a trainee

Worst experience if it comes to food. Though the waiters are friendly it comes accross as if there is lack of training. I paid over R150+ for a gigantic grill and what a dissapointment! The salad was dull and not fresh. Literally old lettuce and a few pieces of tomato. They didnt add the veggies as promised on the Menu. The steak was well done and waiter didnt ask how it should be cooked. The boerewors tasted cheap with too much fat. The chicken was too small and barely any meat on. The only reason why i gave this place 1 star is because of waiters being friendly and the second star for the drinks which are served well as my friend have it on a weekly basis at Maxis Standerton. But I havent seen the manager once when I was there. In general a horrible experience when it comes to food at this restaurant.

First time for our visit to this Maxis restaurant. Will definitely be the last time also. The order took excessively long to be delivered and the meals being distastefull, was an overall disappointment. Consider another restaurant before spending your hard earn money here.
