Exceptional food and service. Enjoyed mothers day buffet with family of seven. Wow, even allowed doggie bags for left overs, all for R200 per person. Really worth supporting.
Stayed in family room which had comfortable beds, clean linen and towels, coffee, tea, milk and sugar, fridge, aircon, dstv and best of all, an awesome view of the ocean. Sunrise was breathtaking as well as sunset the previous evening from Britannia Bay. Food was delicious. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay there again.

We stayed in a nice sized room. The bed was very comfortable. We skipped breakfast as it was only to 10 and we would have had to rush to get to it. One of the staff basically walked right in the room while we were getting dressed to ask if we were coming to breakfast. A suggestion would be that a phone call would have been a bit better.
I stayed here the weekend, the experience was amazing, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, whenever there was any problem, the respond was immediate. The food was absolutely amazing. The view from the pool was stunning. Not a single complaint from me and my family.

Absolutely shocking, what a let down, filthy kitchen a fire and health hazard. Not in a good area of St Helena bay, it is run down, mis managed out of date no direct line to reception, falling apart a total mess. Judging by all the trellidors that they lock at night not so safe.

My Family and I stayed here for a weekend and did not want to leave. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating and never ever hesitated to fulfill our requests. We were always greeted with smiles. The food from the restaurant is amazing and very affordable and great support and assistance was given by all employees with the event we hosted there. I will definitely recommend this place and go back as soon as I can!!

Dirty bedding,dirty pan found on arrival used the pans oil to start a fire, theres a step in the household that needs to be highlighted as it could cause an accident. At least theres dstv and wifi 👍

... a bit tired looking... fresh coat of paint and some upgrades to the bathroom in room 8 could make a huge difference... room and bedding was clean and there were spare blankets available which was nice.Staff are friendly and very helpful... bar could do with some more soft drink and cider options...Overall its ok... its situated in a lovely little town and that definitely counts for a lot!
1. Loved staying at the Chalet so much that the hotel was not so appealing. When I visit again, i will definitely stay at the chalets again...2. On Friday + Saturday night, the hotel bar turns out to be the only (considering the small community) hang out spot in town so it gets very loud - not sure if the hotel rooms are sound proof.3. We experienced a few technical problems due to load shedding - the hotel does not have a generator for back up power which was quite a schlep.NB Tip: Bring a lot of mosquito replant as the area is quite hectic with mosquitos even during the day.
Fabulous staff - very friendly & helpful. Not the most modern, but our suite were very comfortable, clean & well equipped. They are busy renovating - bathrooms are beautiful! Breakfast are included in room price & very great value for money!

A beautiful hotel with stunning gardens. Comfortable rooms but finished off cheap. The outside luxury units and lovely and comfortable furniture and rooms with lovely views of the gardens and the sea. Cheaper options available in the fisherman units or the backpacker rooms. Caravan site very dusty. Hotel a close walk to the beach but very close to the cove. A poor slums area.
We stayed at the hotel while we were shooting their 360 Virtual Tour and the service was great! We booked into the New Chalet No 1 which is a self catering chalet, sleeps 2, Stove, Fridge & air-con in room with GREAT shower. We recommend trying the mussel pot as starter & brownies for dessert! Service was great, very attentive and friendly staff.

A must visit. Beautiful place. Friendly staff. A pool right on your doorstep. Restaurant and bar available. Even a spa and boutique. A play area for kids a braai area too. Close to spar supermarket and tops and OK supermarket. A few great local restaurants in the area to check out. Just stunning this place

Great Luxury Family Chalets.Awesome people, friendly staff, beautiful views and lots to do in the area. We went to the national park (20mins drive) and just over an hour from cape town. Will definitely visit again.

Its such a hidden gem, service was great and the room was amazing.
We stayed in the 5 sleeper cottages.The ceiling was cracking open and the shower was useless. Comfy beds with a small kitchen but not enough to cook with. The water is gross that comes out the tap. All the corners of the room were quite dirty and dusty. Nice quick breakfast inside the hotel though. Happy service but a little slow.
Room was clean and staff friendly and helpful. But the restaurant was a disaster. Only third item I selected was available on the night. Waited quite a while and then the chips was hot and the spare ribs pale and cold. My wifes vegetable soup turned out to be cream of chicken.

Unfortunately I have to give a undeserving star in order to give my review. This place is in a shambles!Absolutely shocking to think that this accommodation is seen as satisfactory to the owners. From black mold ceilings, nails sticking out of furniture, sagging roof, old food caked on kitchen walls,floors and plug, broken draws, dirty scquew hanging curtains, no t.v remote, dirt dirt dirt.... And more dirt.... No braai grid, no tongs and no manager to be seen!
The rooms need work, ceiling is moldy. One room had rusks.. Our one didnt, they promised to get some for us it never came. The breakfast wasnt great, but had to wait over 10 minutes for hot water for the coffee, had to wait for toast.. Wasnt great at all but I guess you get what you pay for...

Place is nowhere close to the pics on internet. Drunk locals kept throwing themselves at my 19 & 14yrs old girls. Reception told us we could order supper but when we wanted to they couldnt assist because kirhen closed at 8pm Not a good experience. They are never seeing me again.

Basic needs covered in the chalets also good prices per stay. At the time we were there the hotel didnt have gates so the locals could walk in anytime. There was a lady who came around looking for an odd job at night.

Advertised as great food and atmosphere. Found a very limited menu for lunch with a burger that did not live up to expectations.
We stayed here for 2 days.Hotel was clean,Service was good ,staff was very nice....they are going to be doing a revamp ,which is very necessary.Overall it was Ok...Id like to go back and see the revamped hotel though.breakfast is very basic.
