I spent an evening here with friends from church. We had the sushi 🍣 buffet. A hyped-up good experience with friends. They made the evening more special than Fukuda & the staff & sushi did, to be honest.It was a Wednesday evening.The waitress who served us is brilliant. Took notes for our orders and kept up with the sushi orders. Speedy!Its a lovely restaurant and welcoming. We paid via credit/debit card at the front, got to greet and thank the owner, and ventured outside once more to our cars.Enjoyable! Memorable.Thanks. Xie-Xie (Chinese)!Wouldnt mind visiting again, especially with 2 or more friends. The take-aways are the other option.I would bring the question of faith into the matter, yet its not SOO worth it here on Google Maps. Christianity and Buddhism. God vs. idols. I personally think their Sushi is the best. Their take aways are also good. The chow meine is also very tasteful.

This eatery has a big selection of sushi and dont have to wonder how the pricing works. My niece and her husband find their sushi buffet absolute value for money which is evident in the fact that they will travel all the way from Hartbeespoort to eat it. 😁 We loved the fact that there was authentic Chinese beer and tea available on the menu too. We enjoyed the experience and thought it is value for money.

A great sushi restaurant with excellent service. Sushi is reasonably priced and really tasty. Try the Avocado Tofu Pouches, and take a bag of White Rabbit sweets home. Atmosphere is really peaceful and the restaurant is really clean. Highly recommended.

This was a really nice surprise. I did not expect it to be on par with the likes of ocean basket etc. Turned out to be better. Huge selection of food. Chinese and Japanese dishes. The sushi was fresh and well prepared. The baked pork dumplings is simply heaven. This little gem is in the Jean ave junction. Treat yourself to a bit of Japan (and Chinese)

This use to be my favourite sushi place, but they have gone out backwards. The menu has changed so much since I last visited and now you pay more for the sushi buffet for much less food and the fried rice and friend noodles are no longer included! The service is absolutely horrible and the starters are cold and not properly defrosted. I ordered my white and yellow plate as those are the most precious plates of the sushi buffet and it totally disgusted me, as the seaweed was old and chewy. Please improve your service and food quality. It will be sad to see your store close.

Not enough staff. Its Friday night guys you cant have two waiters handling take aways and sit downs. In one hour we had one beer and that was the only time we saw our waitress. We gave up on our food after an hour of waiting. This was once our favourite place but never again.

Sure there are prettier places with fancier sushi. But these guys have never ever dissapointed me. They try hard and their staff are incredibly competent.

Best sushi Ive EVER had

Big fan of yamazakis/yamakado but these guys just blow them out the water. Seriously impressed with the quality of both the food and the service. We have been there several times and the sushi in particular has always been amazing and fresh. Its a 30 min drive for me but its my go to sushi place now. Highly recommend them!

I am editing my once 5 star review for this place to a 1 star. After one and a half hours to have one beer and only see the waiter once. This was once my favourite local oriental place... Never again. Walked out hungry to go try John Dorys. You cant run a business like this successfully. Very frustrated. Good bye.

10/01/2019The restaurant is cozy.Our waiter gave us good service and all of our food was correct when we received it.We ate from the buffet and it was delicious!!!We agreed that it was money very well spent and we will go back again.

Our local sushi stop, good food. Just make sure the staff understands your order, especially when you are having takeaway.

We were a table of seven and we ordered the buffet. The waiter was excellent, knowing exactly who ordered what. Many of the sushi dishes were simply outstanding, made by an artist.
