When you stay over in Springbok, it is most likely either your last warm shower for a while, or your first in a long time. The owners of the Springbok caravan park understand this and have made the ablutions exceptional. It is the perfect overnight spot with everything you need.
Gypsy Journey _ new adventures _ on the road to nowhere on whatever day _ making memories _ one campsite at a time _ Springbok _ Anglican Church _ West CoastMany people talk about the the little town of Springbok, hence us adventurous Gypsies putting this on our must go to place. After a brief discussion, we set off on the 315km route, guided by Mrs Garmin. Once in this little town, we realized how rich the area is in History and our fascination of churches took us to this Anglican Church that is the oldest in South Africa, which was built in 1921.
The close proximity to the main road makes this caravan park very popular. The ablution facility is very good with enough capacity for the park.Laundry facilities available, and stands are reasonably priced.
Clean good facilities & inexpensive acvommodation
Lovely Caravan Park just outside of town, stands are level and clearly markedAblution block is huge, beautifully clean with white tiles and huge mirrors with a plug to dry your hair, very conciderate.Reception was friendly and the price is very reasonable @R260 per night for 2 peopleNice kitchen to wash up and a laundry, all set to see the Namaqualand flowers tomorrow
Neat and clean, good spot to camp for Flower time
Very helpful staff, nice place for a stopover.
Nice stands and clean ablution with enough warm water.
Pet friendly, clean and neat.
Liked: Nuwe vriende, wonderlike menseDisliked: Ablusie geriewe is power.
The manager has an abrupt manner of speaking to guests as if they are children who needs repremanding. We did not appreciate the tone and manner in which he came to speak to us. Our music was not loud and as we just started to braai around 7pm. He came over and barked an order with a scolding tone that he received a complaint that we are talking too loud and that he wont say it again and marched off. Thats not acceptable as we are paying guests and it was not even 7pm yet. We werent out of line, just enjoying ourselves and conversing around a braai with soft background music. He could have asked politely that we should perhaps lower our voices to not disturb the other guests or informed us prior to our stay that it is a quiet resort. This was definitely off putting to say the least. Paul should work on his ethics on how to speak to guests as well as his wet-blanket-personality.Notes on the cabin we booked... the cabin is neat but very outdated and probably hasnt seen something new since the 90s. Everything in there is old and not in a cute, antique or rustic fashion. The toilet was leaking, the curtains are faded and very old. Not to mention those hard and uncomfortable mattresses. The place has wonderful potential but needs some maintenance and mostly a makeover of some sort. The Caravan Park is well-known and frequently visited and in my opinion the guests would love to see what they pay for.
Really nice stop over. Clean ablutions, great Manager, fantastic laundry and close to facilities in town. Thank you.
I were very disappointed to wake up in what looked like a building site, old building rubble are used to fill a trench, not nice for a paying client. The secondly the showers are hot but the shower heads are not maintained and it sprays everywhere, so bad that it went over the wall onto all my dry clothes. It surely is not rocket science to sort that out with proper maintenance. And thirdly, they are priced towards the upper end of the market, one would expect more for the price and maybe some discount for younger children.
The busiest caravan park in Springbok.
Liked: Location, the facilities is extremely clean. All very friendly and professional staff.Disliked: Nothing
Very nice and clean place. Friendly people too
Very nice sleep over
Well positioned on either the N7 to Namibia or the M14 to Augrabies. Well maintained , lises one star for low security levels. Friendly staff. A regular stop over.
Perfect for an overnight stop on the way to the Richtersveld or Kleinzee etc. We spent a night here each of the 3 times we traveled through Springbok whilst touring the region. Friendly service, reasonable rates, spotless ablutions with piping hot water, a clean swimming pool, stands with grass and shade and a very convenient laundromat! Highly recommended.
Harsh environment, average ablution and little to do.
Great for a short campout. Ablutions and stands are clean, reception is friendly and the site is surrounded by gorgeous mountains. Very close to town.
Good position, clean, love to be here!
A good stopover

Clean and well managed, lawn on some camp stands.
Awesome, shows that all you need is simplicity ..
Very nice
Very basic Caravan Park with immaculate ablutions. Has a great location. And very basic shop.
Agree, clean & relaxing.Friendly staff.
To camp is 110 rands per person. The ground is hard to find grass lawn. Lots of camp spot with sand suitable for caravans not for tent.Kitchen is poor equipment. Have to bring everything by our own. The toilets and shower are nice and clean.
Friendly. Neat. Good base for flower watching.
Competitive prices for your clean and neat rooms. Beautiful conference facilities. Camping sites cater for every kind of camper. The staff are friendly and the management always at hand to help where necessary.
Liked: There was mistake between site owner and booking agent. When Im arrive at the site and there is no name of mine is booked in register... Ooops! Site owner give me a site where a cancelation, lucky me.

Peace and Quiet. Ablution on camping site, not modern, BUT neat and clean and thats all we need. And best of all, just about 800m to our local Spar, Shoprite, Checkers, Spur, Wimpy and many more other shops.
Ive always had such nice friendly service here. Its an ideal place to stop before an early border crossing to Namibia, or to head for Upington or Cape Town. The accommodation is clean and neat, bathrooms are great, with lots of hot water. Good cooking facilities. All for a very fair price.
We love this caravan park. Anton friendly and helpful. Ambution bock nice redone.
This caravan park is the best for an overnight stay when you heading to Namibia or Kgalagadi. Absoutely neat and very clean ablutions for a reasonable rate.
Peaceful, well equipped Caravan Park, away from the buzz of the town, but 3 minutes drive will take you to town center. Shade, swimming pool and clean ablution buildings are just some of the great advantages of camping here.

The little wood cottage was so beautiful. I just loved it.
Great atmosphere with excellent camping spots at a very reasonable price.
Nice for overnight stay. Ablutions clean and well maintained. Laundromat available. Springbok in summer is hot hot hot.
Top class, nice all round, ablution block feels and looks new, this area is notorius for being very hot and good shade is a premium on site, the region is arid so dont expect lush green lawns, very close to town which is a perfect balance...
Peaceful upgrade in progress of ablutions, also have laundry. Close to town. Most stands are not grassed but neat
