I attended the Jozi FM Jean-to-Jean event on Sun, 26 March 2017. I must say, I was very disappointed with the lack of preparation from Ditsaleng Staff&Management. How can they have 4 staff members working in the bar for such an event and 1 of the staff had no knowledge of wine and spirits. Though I was impressed with her to be honest about her lack of knowledge but rather a shame for the management when they hosted an event of such magnitude. The event was scheduled to start at 14h00 and we arrived at the venue just after 14h30. Went to buy food but was told nothing is ready from meat, pay, chakalaka. I mean really!!!!! It is true that once you consume alcohol, life just gets exciting and you forget about all the negatives around you. Just a word of advise, next time you host such an event, please train your staff on planning and managing qeues better. The chaos at the bar could have been catastrophic if it werent for the quick action from some staff members who appeared to be security who decided to close the door and let patron go in small groups. Other than that, the venue is beautiful and am a proud Sowetan to have such amazing places of entertainment.RegardsSekgana
