I had my first share of the famous Ribs at this spur in secunda they were fast , and really enjoyed the food there

The waiter looked angry at us from the moment we sat. The waiter didnt mention the special on the ribs but decided that he will add on hard dry hamburger rolls we didnt ask for and peri peri sauce we didnt even order. The kiddies meal looked like leftovers from the previous day. The ribs were extremely dry, they were not marinated as per Spur standards they actually didnt taste fresh. Times are really hard for restaurants but you guys are making it harder for yourselves. Poor service, we had to beg for wipes like I was being done a favor. Thanks but no thanks!

Spur was once a top notch restaurant. My hubby and i went there about 2 weeks back. Not the first time the food dont tast right. I order the wings and calamari dish and hubby ordered a sirloin steak. I took one bite of my calamari and it tasted funny. Left this awful taste in my mouth and the wings were so dry i almost coughed myself to death. The steak was not well done as asked and it was so chewy couldnt swallow the bite he had given me. Omg really. They will not see me soon. So disappointed

Bought take away of Sirloin steak with Chips and Onion rings only to find that I was not given any spices sauces and servittes. They can do better.

Toilets are not clean no hand soap or hand towels in toilets

I dont know what to say with this review, have eaten at spur a view times, and its seems like its a gamble thing. Sometimes food is amazing. Service is excellent... and the sometimes its so bad... you dont even know what to say. Our 1st waiter didnt pitch up till after manager came by. She sorted him out fast and the next waiter was a sweetheart. Went way beyond giod service. But then the food arives. My sons macaroni was delish. My wings was dry. And my others son pizza was dry. So Im giving a 3. For the waiter and the manager trying.Follow up: Manager phoned and invited us back. Well done management!

The food was excellent, the service friendly & efficient & the music wasnt as loud as on previous visits...A true family dining/lunch experience!The free ice-cream for my Mother on her birthday was a real treat!Thank you!!!Keep the ambient noise to a minimum & youll see many happy clients returning to visit time and again!

Weve always enjoyed our spur experiences, but since lockdown restrictions have lifted, the delivery order needs attention, pls people 3 times now our order was wrong, we either dont get what we order, or something has been left out, starting to get annoying now. Check and check again that people are getting what they want and paying for.

I have lived in Secunda for 37 years.There is no other place that we eat. OREGON SPUR is simply the best. The service is great and the food excellent!! Birthdays...Anniversaries...any opportunity to go to Spur....we love Spur!!! Thanks for being our TOP RESTAURANT!!!

Food took 53 min, I phoned with my order, on the phone the lady informed me it would take 20min, 53 min later I received my food

Food was good however the vegetable portion had a very odd ammonia taste as if some cleaning fluids had gotten into the mix. Wish they would turn the music down just a tad as its difficult to hold a conversation at times. The staff are friendly and prompt. Its a good place to take the kids or have a fun get together but when wanting a quiet romantic meal I would suggest somewhere else.

Awesome people and great service! Food was absolutely excellent. Thank you guys - what a pleasant experience. I was waiting for my car to be serviced - they provided me with a power point for my Laptop and the Wifi was fast and stable.

I have ordered a toasted chicken sandwich. There was almost no filling. The manager adressed the concern and told me it is according their set amount. They however exchanged the sandwich, very long waiting time. When I was done eating there was no one to help me with the bill. I had to go to the pay point to get helped.

Always enjoy a Spur. Some people like to refer to Spur as boring. I see it as consistent. I always know what Im going to get and it is always delicious and mouth watering. When I walk into Spur, and smell all the burger patties, I already get hungry. And they still have the best crumbed mushrooms I have ever had

Spur has something new on the menu and when you go to spur you love the atmosphere and the good ribs and steak. The meal my wife and I have had was not expensive at all but, yes prices have escalated quite a bit but, its good meals.

A wonderful, friendly place to eat. We feel like family and has always been treated special. Thank you for the way you treat us and the excellent food and service. It is 5 star quality.

What an awsome experience! Its always a pleasure to bring my child here! All the staff is friendly and welcoming and the child minders is attentive and so good with him. I struggle to get him out of here as he loves to play and spend time here! Thank you Spur!

Pleasant and relaxing service very good

Took my kids out for lunch, however decided to order take aways. The waiter brought the food however I was out at the time. I returned waited close to 15min then decided to call one of the managers and they spent about 10min looking for the waiter and when he finally came he just handed me the bill not even acknowledging me or the fact that we waited so long and just sent another waiter with the speed point. The only reason I contained myself was because I was with my children. I spent close to R800 to receive such an undermining poor service.

Its very disturbing that white managers in the restuarant only interacts with white customers. A black manager approached me immediately after witnessing his white colleague skipping my table just after he had spoken with white customers who were right next to me checking if they were still satisfied about the service. Everything else is fine but this for me is very disturbing.

Ribs, tjops, fries , kiddies mac and cheese and the schnitzel was of good taste and the service was great.
