Awesome prices yet sadly lacking the human touch. Please come prepared with a mask, as you wont be able to buy one inside Checkers, as they do not stock it. So, in the event of your mask breaking, you will have to buy one elsewhere and this could be a major difficulty in the life of a person who is unable to walk very far. Especially the elderly or physically disabled.

Clean, well organized, efficient and reasonable priced. The store has a wide selection for products for not only residents of this town but also the ever present tourist. Wide selection of beach and other camping equipment and reasonably priced.

Pathetic, dont ever go there in hope to get any of the advertised specials. Either they are still waiting for stock or they have specials for the weekend, wich is sold out by Friday afternoon.

Lots of parking and generally the staff are very friendly and helpful. The quality and variety of fresh produce is not as good as some other Checkers outlets and maybe this is an area for improvement. But prices are fine. Keep in mind that its not a Checkers Hyper so you wont get all the variety that you might expect.

Never had issues at this Checkers in the past.However today when I went to the (empty) front kiosk / cigarette counter to pay for my 2 small items, which I often do without problems, I got told to go pay at the express till, despite that queue reaching the butchery at the back of the store.No way Im queuing 20 minutes just for 2 items especially during covid times.Really got to speed up your checkout times, that would be a huge improvement.

They have the rudest, most unhelpful, most disrespectful, most uncaring staff you can ever come across, I dont shop at checkers because of the staff

On arrival at the store entrance I saw a lot of old people standing in a long que in the hot sun waiting maybe to draw some pension but wasnt sure. I dont think this is very practical or good practice to have senior citizen standing in long ques or in the warm sun.

Good day ..Never really had an issue with checkers but on Wednesday i was followed by a worker while I shopped around.. He then met me at the till saying that I cannot take the trolley out.It was not the small basket trolley.Thank you

Did not wait in line. Shop not too crowded, yet only few check out points, had to wait in line for a significant period. The elderly had to stand outside in the sun to be served grant collection. This was a sad sight. The line moved very very slow.

Every Sunday, same experience, without fail,I get asked if Im sure I only have 1 paper . It is then checked twice to ensure that I havent stolen another. Next Sunday I will be shopping at Pick & Pay.

I had the utmost worst experience for the first time in a checkers store,this is the scottburgh store...the cashier together with the security guard was extremely rude telln me i should get out the line and lets not forget i am a paying customer shopping with my little niece never the less the security pushes my lil niece out the line and raised his voice aggressively...i truely am disappointed wid da service...yes the manager tried to control the situation and am grateful for however i will not be using my hard earned money wer its not appreciatedI am extremely dissapointed as a loyal customer of many years and generations!

Pathetic customer service at scottburgh checkers. Staff and managers are extremely unhelpful. Advertise specials and then never have any stock until the special ends, then suddenly stock appears. declining rapidly. Shocking...

Have shopped at Checkers for many years, always a good experience, easy to get around, items well positioned. The new layout is awful. I do not want to trek down a long aisle when the items I require are at one end or the other. Put the cross aisle back please.

Love shopping here great bargains and friendly staff this is an organized shoprite. They are always willing to help you if you looking for an item. Their meat is fresh and very well priced not expensive at all. Your everyday needs are always priced low. Luxuries are a bit more but still beats the other supermarket pricing.

The services is great. The staff is always willing to lend a hand. Very patient. I love that they cater to everyone, you can find alot of ranges of cheese as well coffee.

I would just like to know how checkers passes their food safetyy audits, as yesterday I was there and most of the fresh food they had sitting there open and unprotected had flies on them.... There were flies walking on all the chicken. Surely there must be some sort of system or procedure in place for food sitting around like that. I was so disgusted I left the shop and ended up buying else here where. The other store had actual sealed bags of chicken and doors protecting any foreign objects from falling into the food displayed. Id compare buying food from checkers the same as buying food from a vendor on the side of the road and even some of those are a lot more kosher.

We bought R64 worth of fresh fillited make yesterday morning. On arriving home and opening the stench was so great we had to seal it in plastic and throw it in the rubbish bin. Please sort out your fish before someone gets Ill.Ian Stewart.

Almost everything that you need ,you shall get at this Checkers in Scottburgh. You can do you grocery shopping there and they close really late. As in their lastest closing time is 8pm. So even after work If I was tied up the whole day,I know that they will be there to cater for me. It does get busy though but this Checkers has great free parking and a section just for Wine and also a Checkers liqour attached to Checkers Scottburgh. Their bakery is also very big.

However friendly and courteous, the tills and packaging too involved in conversation that many cannot understand, thus, very slow service just before closing tonight where your business has IMPORTANT last minute shoppers prepared to spend moey.

Pathetic customer service. Doesnt even deserve a star. Asked for help and staff member just looked at me and continued packing his shelve. Got to the till and it was even worse with a cashier who spoke to the packer the whole time as if I was never there. With customer service like this why bother solving corruption in the government

This shop can be better. I have visited others where the staff is friendlier, the trolleys are cleaner and managers more hands on.

Until recently I enjoyed shopping here. Friendly staff and a wide variety of products. All spoiled now because the aisles have been made into what look like long tunnels. If one is in a hurry, one has to race up and down - not a good thing for pensioners, and it looks awful. Presume the idea is that one would be tempted to impulse buy. I, for one, wont. Ill only shop at Checkers now for their special offers.

This store is 10 times better than the other major super market in Scootburgh and by far cheaper.parking is no problem and the staff is great. Only one problem there are no public toilets.keep up the good work
