I emailed an enquiry through yesterday morning and the service from Eroll has been absolutely excellent 👌🏼 He was very helpful and friendly and ready to assist. With the Lockdown its been quiet difficult in Durban to find a pet store in my surrounding area to find a store that has the specific food that my little chinchilla eats. Ive been trying for weeks and now I have just barely enough food to last the week. I explained this to Eroll and he assured me he could dispatch my order yesterday which was absolutely amazing. I placed my order with him yesterday and it just arrived now. He provided me with all the relevant tracking information. It thats not speedy service I dont know what is. I am truly so impressed and grateful. There are still some placed who have not even responded to my enquiries till now. Thank you Eroll for the amazing service! It really is appreciated in these very uncertain times 😊

When i recently visited the store, i was shocked to see that the animals wasnt being cared for properly. None of the rodents cages were clean and it smelled so bad that i just wanted to get out so i dont even know how those poor animals can breathe. The rabbit cage was not suitable for the rabbits at all. It had steel bars at the bottom (It is not good for rabbits because their feet does not have cushions, so their feet will get hurt and it will be hard for them to stay warm) When i told the employee, he told me that it was fine. That made me really upset because all the rabbits were sleeping together in their food bowl (They were getting cold) and after they spend all that time in the food, they still had to eat it, which is not healthy at all. Rabbits should have shavings so that they wont get cold as easily and so that their feet wont get hurt. About 2 of the rabbits looked ill. There were cages that had nothing in and was very filthy. Another thing that caught my attention is a fat-tailed gecko that was being kept in a extremely small glass tank, just big enough for him to eat and drink. Take better care of the animals by cleaning their cages more often and do research on how to care for those animals.

Promises to order what you need but then it is never delivered. Going for 2 months now

Really shocked at what I saw today. A customer wanted to pay for something small with a bank card and the person behind the till said no it must be more than R50. The customer was clearly annoyed but didnt say anything and just turned around and was busy walking out when the guy behind the till called behind the customer in a very mocking manner totsiens totsiens The customer stopped, turned around and a verbal spat broke out. The guy from the shop even stormed out from behind the till towards the customer and I thought a physical confrontation is going to happen. The customer at that point used foul language and I could see that he was really angry. To be honest I would have been angry too. The guy behind the till was very unprofessional and he should not have mocked the guy that was already busy walking out of the shop. The two men was still carrying on when I walked out. Shocking behavior from the Kirbys Pets world employee. I will never buy something there again.
