I have been asking since 2nd Term for paperwork regarding my child exams, I get a ticket number then no reply.We in last Term and the same procedure happen. Everything is being send to success Manager but nothing.Then another point, I have been paying the school fees more than the invoice amount to be in a credit by December, the last invoice I got was in May 2021, I mailed them and called to asked for a invoice that I can see my credit reflect and what I am on but all they say we send it to the normal email which is mine and still nothing.

I am able to focus on school work and get good marks. I can access recordings to catch up and study at my own pace after school. Very worth it.

At the moment I am still very happy with the school. I am still a new parent but their service is outstanding. They reply to every email or message. They will call if necessary. They are always there for the children and go the extra mile on Saturdays as well. They are very considerate in all they do. I’d definitely recommend them.

Teneo is an affordable school, teachers teach well, the Canvas learning platform is also organized. My son enjoys his lessons and eagerly wakes up to attend classes. However, the customer support needs some serious overhauling. I asked for a simple email and in 8 weeks I received no response. No school is perfect but the customer support issue needs to be addressed.

My 5 children absolutely LOVE Teneo. The classes are stimulating, extremely well presented and the school system runs brilliantly. The support given by the school and teachers cannot be improved on. Well done Teneo!

Okay lets take a minute to talk about Petru Swanepoel. But first can I say how bad these guys are at hiring teachers Most of the time? Theres only like 2 or 3 good teachers who teach in and informative and  explanatory way so kids can actually learn.Okay, so 1 she is definitely prejudice against male learners and wont let them answer or speak 90% of the time but lets the female learners go on and waste half the lesson talking about random things that dont have anything to do with the subject. There was also a kid in my class whose animal was dying so he took it to the vet but couldnt miss class so he brought his laptop and joined her class after all that effort and struggle to join her class he accidentally turns on his mic for about 5 seconds and the the noise was heard on the zoom call which obviously is his fault but the way she reacted was completely absurd. Just a quick note that it was the beginning of class within the first 5 minutes when she hadnt started teaching yet so the reaction was not necessary to that extent as she wasnt even talking just sitting and waiting. When the student accidentally turned on his mic she started screaming/ shouting and essentially just told him to shut up in a more harsh manner(if theres a recording Ill try to find it and subscript it.)Its also not to mention how sexist and discriminatory some of the stories she teaches in class. I know she has a year book to follow but to just teach it without thinking about what the students would think about it is just utterly careless.

Fantastic oline school where all the guidance and great teaching for kids is provided. Feedback to parents is great and their system easy to use. If your kid is struggling at school then online may be the best avenue for you as my son is enjoying the online aspect over going to school, which I can relate with.

The platform used is well organized, it made it easy for my kids to transit into their new mode of learning. Excellent and experience teachers too. I am very happy with the school.

I have 4 daughters at Teneo and in just a short time, I can see how the use of technology in education has made school much more interesting a fun for them. I dont spend any time chasing after them about school work and individual study, they are on it and you can see that they are challenged the right way and I interested in researching the world. 5 stars for Teneo!

My kids are happy, no time spent on school politics and dramas they can focus on learning. After school they enjoy their sport, and videos of clases can be watched when they can not attend. No reason not to catch up when it was missed. We also found the quality of teacher to be better than our local schools, because they are not the only teacher available, they can be picked all over the country to get the best. Thank you Teneo.

Would recommend Teneo for online schooling, if you are looking for another school or for interm while you are looking for a permanent school. My child has taken to it so well. You never know until you try and see what works for your child.

Very impressed. My son has been with Teneo now for 3 years and he just keeps improving in every aspect. I do have problems though with some queries when sent to support i dont get answers when needed but, that is very seldom that it will happen. Teachers are helpful and friendly and very understanding. Like every school there are some ups and downs but i would be worried if there werent issues somewhere. Great job Teneo

Inspiring and the way forward for education!

The school came through for me and my son at a critical time of confusion and worry that my son would not be able to continue his year of studies due to the corona pandemic. Registering with the school in the middle of the academic year was easy. Staff was accessible and the support team was amazing with responding to questions and issues. Quality of education is high in comparison to the public school that my son came from and he learnt a lot of digital skills and also to be an independent thinker! The transition is obviously not easy and requires a lot of support for the learner. Teneo school should look into incorporating the social part of the schooling experience as that is lacking.

I write this review with such a heavy heart as I have recommended Teneo to so many of my friends. I have query that has been dragging on for 5 months now and to date its still unresolved. No response from the school via their emails, no transparent escalation process. I have tried numerous times to at least speak to a person with no luck. A simple task of getting a grade HODs email address is close to impossible. As a parent who has been with the school for 3 years now I wouldnt recommend Teneo to any parent.

Best decision we ever made for our daughter, she is doing FET phase at the moment and she is very happy.

They deserve a minus rating. Their administration and support is terrible. They make a lot of mistakes and never get back to you to own up and correct them. Their offices are a house in a controlled access highly guarded estate in Sandton. The office address listed is a street number not exactly the house number. You wont find anyone or office to escalate matters if you are not happy with the treatment. Beware!!!!

Karen Sickel the person who assisted us with all our concerns and enquiries done an amazing job with always being transparent, easy to get hold of and always responding with urgency. Karen you deserve a bonus!!!We had a wonderful experience with my daughters last 2yrs of high school and timing was perfect due to pandemic hitting us hard. Fees are so worth it and less than what we paid at her previous school. I would recommend Teneo to any parent. My daughters ability to work independently and do online learning has become a lifestyle for her, its prepared her well for university this year. We dont regret making that move at all. Anti bullying, parent meetings are a breeze, paperless administration, lets not forget no extra money out of our pocket to raise funds for a school who already charge a arm & a leg on a school fees. Best choice we have made for our children

DO NOT ENROL HEREWas enrolled into this school in 2019 for matric and in the beginning everything was great but after a month, everything started going south. The worst of all is that after writing my matric final exams, I wasn’t able to get my matric certificate because TENEO “lost” ALL of my SBA tasks. An entire year wasted and even the DOE could do nothing about it because no work had been submitted to them by the school. Please do not make the mistake of trusting these people, may be one of the unlucky ones who end up having your entire life ruined. They set me back an entire year and to this day they claim that I never submitted anything. I can’t even begin to describe how I feel.

I can recommend Teneo to all parents. Especially those with kids with special needs. Like my daughter.Excellent to have live classes and interaction with teachers and learners.Students feel more part of a social school system. Homework and tests as public schools.Bonus is with registering with the Education Department, Teneo makes is easier to have that relationship with the department with out stressing!Cost effectiveness. With a special needs daughter I dont have the concern with private schools (which I cant afford) and travelling.Support system is excellent. Making the effort to find out how my daughter is doing and if she needs extra time during exams.Computer skills. Definately a must in todays world. Coding and computer skills being taught.Support. Queries are dealt with quickly!Teneo have just been a blessing to my daughter and myself. No words to really convey my sincere gratetude.Blessings to an awesome school! Terrible absolutely terrible, support doesnt respond, I emailed them about a teacher as the teacher had nude vids on her Twitter very openly for students to see when they searched her name, aswell as they were very disorganized this year so far, and the teachers rush through things because of technical difficulties they had in the past month or 2, they should have everything ready and have classes assigned aswell as teachers before the school even starts, because of them being disorganized the teachers rushed through work to get to the sba so alot of the students have no idea whats going on, and now they are saying we have to pay late submission fees of R850, so we have to pay for your guys mistakes because you were disorganized, honestly???? Think about that, and then the sba are everyday aswell we have homework so we barely get any sleep and we become sleep deprived which causes mental and physical issues, but they dont care all they can think is about getting more money out of students and parents, and they expect us to just catch up, when they give us so much to do just because they were to lazy to get the school ready on time, which then leads to serious mental issues with alot of students, but they just dont seem to care, I rather be spending 100k a year on education thats actually organized then this 20k.

Its been good especially during covid. What saddening is that there are no socials

My 3 kids were registered for 2020. The experience was terrible. I Service is non existent. Communication is useless. My son did grade 11 in 2020 at teneo. He needs to apply to university but his gr11 report from teneo is incorrect. I have appealed and sent the relevant information to teneo but I did not get a reply. I cannot get hold of anyone at teneo to assist me. My sons applications to Universities have been ruined by teneo. Font make the mistake of enrolling in teneo. You will regret it. They have ruined my sons future.

Awful. I enrolled at the start of this year for adult matric. I Had gotten my details after fighting with them for 2 Months after they keep hanging up on me. When I put in my details they do not work so I contacted support, they said that I am not in the system. Please do not waste your time here find a different school.

Beware of this school. Zero communication, zero feedback , disorganized etc. Gave my daughter the wrong curriculum for the entire year even after almost begging after numerous calls and emails to have it corrected.No back up for subjects that need extra attention. As far as I am concerened they should refund the R21000 spent.
