Today I visited the iStore to get an additional MTN contract with a MacBook Air. I spent 3 hours in the store - they didn’t seem to be in too much of a rush to get things done. The consultant kept printing papers for me to sign. This process needs to be streamlined. I was expecting to be 45 minutes (1 hour TOPS!). You pretty much wasted my entire Saturday! This was very painful!

The consultants are trying but they are not keeping up with the volumes. IStore really needs to look into capacity of the store vs the work load volume. The result is poor customer service due to high volumes.

Good store, beautiful layout with lots of nice goodies. Beware the peak times because this store is busy. Staff are efficient, friendly and will help sort you out with whatever you need, however would be more beneficial if more products were offered on contracts. Also, upgrades tend to take a long time, but that is mainly due to the networks.

I returned a new iPhone that died 7 days after buying it and the store refuses to replace it or check it out while I wait. I’m told that they have to book it in and then I can come back during the week. One would expect a bit more service for a very expensive phone that died within 7 days of purchase. I would not recommend the iStore Sandton City.

I was not happy at all, we came for collection of my wifes contract phone only to find out that the process was 80% complete. I am asking myself why did the consultant invite us to come and collect. Whats annoying is that we drove from vaal all the way to Sandton.

Sent my first email ordering an M1 Macbook Pro on 2 January 2021, they only confirmed ordering it 2 weeks later on 15 Jan, now its March and I still dont have my product that I asked to be ordered on 2 Jan. They cant even track the order or tell me how much longer I must wait till it finally arrives.I couldve imported it and it wouldve been far quicker to get here than through this official reseller.

Rude service and very expensive return policy (20% for unused products). Istore is not Apple! Clearly.Happily enough i-store is not the only distributor in RSA. You are better off buying from other Apple distributors, who do care for their customers.

Went to take out a cell phone contract. After going through the long process I was told I could only get the phone the next day. Went next day, they said my credit score was too low to get a contract. I told them there was a mistake because I recently prequalified for the purchase of a new car .... etc. They did absolutely nothing to help resolve the issue. The manager and the person who had asked me to complete the documents had no idea how to assist me or simply did not care. Eventually, I asked them to cancel my application and went directly to a Vodacom Shop. My application was processed in an hour and I went home with my new phone.

IStore selling premium products at PREMIUM prices but when there is a problem with your Mac (still under warranty and apple care that I paid extra for...) they ship it to someone else (not their responsibility anymore) and tells you 5-7 working days for repairs. Now a month later (and many emails back at forth with no one taking ANY responsibility and just telling the customer (that paid 40k for a Macbook Pro) to just wait.Pathetic.I really wish we had the Proper Apple stores in South Africa as they have been very helpful abroad when i had issues there or even dealing with them on the phone. Definitely wont get that customer service at iStores in South Africa.

Fantastic service from a young man who was very knowledgeable about the products I was questioning him on. Then the cashier was also friendly and helpful and the best service was from a guy called Bongo (I think he was the supervisor or manager). He assisted when my gift card wasn’t working and took down my details promising to contact me once he resolves it, which he did the next day! This store has the best apple service in SA! Well done guys and thank you Bongo for your amazing on the ball customer service!

As indicated by the name this is a shop offering everything Apple that you could ever wish for. An impressive amount of stock as well as compatible goods and comparative ranges of goods. If they do not have what you are looking for they will order it for you, or recommend a store where you can get it. The staff are knowledgeable and obliging.

Bought a Macbook Air 256g and 3 days later, Macbook dont want to switch on. Took it back the Monday they say at the Istore sorry they cant help me come back the next dayWent in the next day say they have to book it in. No update what so ever had to send email after email no correspondence nothing. A guy phone and say there is no update the Apple Customer Care dont respond to my emails. Everytime i phoned speak to someone else and everytime is a different story. Today they say it is uneconomical to fix the laptop so that means you sold me a Broken, Faulty Macbook in the first place! All i want is a working Macbook the same one that bought! Stop making excuses and stop saying yes we dont know it was faulty its your product and you sold it to me so replace it thats all!

It took 2 hours to get a contract submitted and 96 hours later I still have no real feedback. I was told it would take 2 to 24 hours. I mailed Tsitso after the 24 hour period and was then informed it may take 48 hours. What us going on guys. I’ve since sent 2 mails and no response. I’m trying to run a business and have not been able to make or receive call??

Worst customer experience ever, applied for a contract iStore agent made a mistake with my number, she then processed a cancellation and 7 days after no response. I then decided to go to the store since no feedback was provided as promised and guess what I waited for 30 Mon without getting feedback I was told the lady that did my contract is busy she will get back to me. Still no response. I wouldnt recommend anyone to use iStore Sandton they have incompetent staff, not even sure how they are doing quality reviews and checking if staff is doing what they intended to do in an appropriate way. Very disappointed

I think this is a pretty good iStore. Staff have always been helpful, friendly and know about the Apple products they sell. As with a lot of iStores, they get very busy so sometimes there is a bit of a wait to get help but still not bad service.

No toilet bear banking level and security sent me from Nedbank to Absa then eventually I returned to level below banking and found toilets at entrance near escalators I had a walking stick and had a lot of walking to find the toilet not happy customer

Avoid like the plague. Aggressive staff and data collection policy. They want to know your name and mobile number just to buy some screen cleaner. The server was rude to me and shrugged speak to the manager when I gave him some feedback as if he couldnt care less, bit like the hygiene of his dirty finger nails.Manager was rude as well when I spoke to him. Cowboys, how far has apple fallen to allow such a cheap shoddy retail experience.Heres some advice from someone that worked at apple. When a customer offers you feedbackListen to it, record it and thank them for it.Simple customer service.I work with a client in the area and was thinking of placing an order for 10 iMacs with you but that wont be happening now. A little courtesy goes a long way.

The store is awful. The staff are rude and unfriendly.. and aggressive would be exactly the word. The music is ridiculously loud and inappropriate for shopping, that you cannot think. When asked if they could change the music or turn it down, the young girl.. literally looked me in the face and said we will not change the music for you. When relaying this to another staff member, she just looked at me.. I have heard from other people that they have had to walk out because of the music. Its such a pity that people just dont have pride in what they do anymore and customer service literally does not exist. Not that it matters, but I will be going to Sandton Drive to buy my Apple Mac. VERY BAD REFLECTION ON ISTORE BRAND
