I usually find what Im looking for at the store and its new layout is clean and easy to use. The prices are reasonable however staff are unhelpful, unfriendly and not knowledgeable at all.

Classic Builders. They go out of there way to be as useless as possible. Not a SINGLE person to load stuff in the yard. There was however one woman in the store that exceeded my expectations, Fikele Brand I think. She was the total opposite of builders staff, thank you Fikele. See pics, nobody in the yard, not a single one- useless lot

Such superb customer service! The staff there intuitively know what a customer needs and do their best to provide. Im so impressed. The other day, I went back because I needed a refund. And I came out of there in less than 5 minutes. Just wow!

The management & quality from Builders Fourways is disgusting. Everytime Ive ordered from this branch, there is a problem with the quality of their product ie. they send out defective/broken goods on delivery to clients who are paying good money & the management at this branch seem to think its acceptable to sell damaged goods, then after sending it back due to poor quality the same stock gets re-delivered with wood filler where the MANY damages are. I run a construction & renovation company & never have I witnessed such lack luster service from any other supplier. Jannie, Andre & Lloyd you need to go for training & that is being polite. You shouldnt be in the positions youre in!

Most of the staff are excellent.o had overall excellent experience except for one cashier but I would recommend shopping there

Service absolutely useless staff terribly rude when you ask them for help then waited 35min just to load a geyser by contractors collection. Thought with Leroy Merlin opening down the road you would improve service but clearly its gotten worse

Safe secure parking if only people would obey road signs. Drive the correct way maybe security could be there to ensure ruled are obeyed

The car guards are more helpful than some of the staff in store. Always struggle to find a service with a smile. For some reason the shop has become so dark after the revamp.The job seekers outside are just too much and too many. Its sad as not much can be done.It used to be one of my favorite shops.

I have never been treated as poorly as by the team at Builders and their so called support staff. I placed an online order 6 weeks ago for an item that was in stock. I have followed up every day, i have escalated twice and I receive absolutely no feedback and no apology. As far as i am concerned, I have been robbed. Were it not for the fact that i can go and see the store for myself, i would report their website to the police as a scam site and advise against its use. Avoid at all costs! Go to Leroy Merlin down the road, its worth it!

The Builders Warehouse in nice. It has a large variety of products, staff are friendly. Good quality items. The Coffee shop inside is not worth it. Skip the coffee shop and enjoy the shopping.

It took me a while to find what I needed. Staff dont seem to care when you ask for help (if you can find any). At the check out I waited for 2 cashiers and 2 packers to finish their lengthy chat before they called next. I arrived, paid and the cashier had not said one word. My next DIY purchase will be Leroy Merlin. Builders simply does not deserve customers with their atrocious lack of customer care.

They sell just about everything, a bit pricey,but generally fine.

Large store with variety of household supplies, DIY, hardware, gardenware, plants etc They have a cylinder exchange and gas refill facility. Free parking in open lot with security. Easy access and exit, ample till points with no delays. Staff were ready to assist and answer questions/provide guidance on products. Would recommend the store for household needs.

Their garden center has very reasonably priced plants. Very competitive.

Great range of hardware but disinterested staff who make you feel that you are a nuisance if you ask for assistance. The Fourways branch staff are particularly lethargic and disgruntled. Makes for an unpleasant shopping experience, unfortunately.

I think some of the staff needs to up their service,and I emphasize,SOME OF THE STAFF.This used to be a place of great service but of late the service is deteriorating.Sometimes you would think its a crime or a big deal to ask for a quotation there,unfortunately we will always come for the quotations because they are part of our work.If its not about printers which can not print,its the attitude you are given.This Builders Warehouse used to offer quality service.

Fourways is always a pleasure to deal with in-store. I did however have an unsatisfactory service online. I needed a quote to cut shelving. Called their main customer service centre and was told that the details will be sent to Fourways for a quotation. Never happened. had to go in personally and have it sorted out. On the flip side other competitor retailers, responded the same day to my online request. Worth noting Builders.

Very large warehouse. Well stocked with all needed for construction and hardware required for buildings particularly homes and furnishing of homes and gardens. Generous on site parking well marked. Has a coffee shop and tool and equipment hire shop and plant nursery within. Well organized. Prices are in the median range.

The inside of the warehouse looks great after great they redisigned the aisles. Keep it up guys.

Unfortunately i cannot give a zero star rating. Builders is the worst possible place to buy anything. Service is shocking, stock levels is not updated. Place is disorganized and unsafe... they really dont care one bit for the customer

Dont forget to bring your camping chairs... Possibly a soft drink, dinner and potentially a tent and bedding for a potential over night stay.Waiting to fill 3kgs of gas...A great experience so far ... waiting time👌... But hey... At least they managed to find the spare key... And age well in to the process... If only I was a fine wine.

I have been to multiple Builders Warehouse branches in Gauteng and this is the worst Builders Warehouse branch in Gauteng. Poor service, people sitting around ignoring customers. One person flat out refused to help while sitting back on a chair. Thank goodness Leroy Merlin opened a branch around the corner.

I am very satisfied with the treatment i received from Builders Fourways, i went to buy an Awning and it was out of stock. I called few days to check and everyone was just up to assist calling me now and then to confirm if i got assisted and if they can assist me further. Keep up the good work and serve our community. Good place to shop for building material and household tools, paint, home maintenance and renovations

Disappointed at their ability to manage their stock better. Staff was unable to locate eight mirrors that they showed as stock. Waisted more than half an hour in store while they searched. Eventually picked up the stock at another branch 20km away the next day in order to meet the project deadline

Worst Builders. Stock, when there actually is, is packed in wrong places, no pricing on shelves, no one in sections to help etc, etc. And its been like this before the revamp, in fact even before covid. Now just worse. Waste of money on revamp, if management isnt present/competent. Cant wait for Leroy Merlin to open. In the mean time have been using Builders Express in Cedar. At least this store has management and staff that seem to take their jobs seriously.

Well stocked store and found what I was looking for.

The store is currently a hot mess as they are in the process of moving to another location in Fourways but the staff is always so helpful...your home and garden one stop shop! Recently picked up their smaller planter boxes which range from R50 to R500 for my herb garden. The organic planter soil was a bargain at just R68 for more than 10kgs in a bag!

Very poor customer service. Not enough staff on the floor to assist. Ended up leaving after walking around for almost 15 minutes trying to find help.

Store has been renovated and looks really good. They have expanded and made better use of the space. Its now easier to find what you are looking for and experts are by the isles to help immediately. Its a positive improvement from the previous setup.

Impossible parking. too many beggars outside. Paint section is inconveniently placed by staff back room,and you are constantly interrupted by large trollies of goods

Always a mission to get someone to help, stock is often a problem as well. Pricing is on the higher side.Convenient if there is nothing else nearby which sells what you need.

Very disappointed in this builders. Try to buy power tools here, an absolute nightmare. No prices on the shelves, no demo products where there are shelves. If you do find a demo product there is no stock!! I do hope this builders can improve with its new competition of LM just around the corner.

They have a lot of stock so you wont struggle for options. Quick service too.

I bought a substandard drill from builders warehouse fourways. The drill hammer function was not working yet its supposed to be new. When I took it back, I was told they had to take it for repairs. How can you buy something with a 3 year warranty and one week later you have to send it for repairs. This drill was defective. They are selling damaged goods and forcing customers to accept it anyway. Worst service. Stay away from these clowns!!!

Its a Builders Warehouse. Youll get what you need but expect little service, full parking areas and long queues at the till. At least everything is clean and neat and prices wont be too bad.

Far better following the revamp but remains poor in terms of the quality of product they choose to carry. As an example no Gardena product and they sell what I imagine is a house brand called Garden Master which is nowhere near as good.Limited numbers of staff also make it difficult to find assistance although the staff that are there are helpful. I understand this arose during lockdown but if this is their new model it wont make for a good shopping experience.They will need to up their game with the new Leroy Merlin opening in Fourways although I suspect they will be competing on price rather than on quality product and service.

The best place ever and lots of help

A guys kryptonite, never enter the store without spousal supervision, youll spend more than you wanted. Very convenient place for quick home repairs.

No stock of items we were looking for, payed up front for them to order. When they called regarding the receipt of the items they said that both items would take a month for delivery. Just a poor show Builders I suggest try Leroy Merlin before paying up front.

Way more expensive than the other stores that sell the same products, Example in Builders Express Lasher Brick Combs (that I use on pools) cost R25 Per freaking comb !! But Build It and Timbercity charge R7 per comb. What a rip off Builders Express. On a sunnier note they have the best Tie Back face masks.

Your one stop shop for all your hardware, building and gardening needs. If you can think it they have got it.

As per normale they have what you need. Except service this is the company with some of the poorest service in there industry.

New store is cramped. Aisles are very narrow now and constantly bumping into people. Big focus on contractors now rather than normal retail. Big step back backwards from what the store was like before. Cant wait for Leroy Merlin to open up the road that will provide good competition.

I used to love builders-where-house but those days are long gone! Staff run away (literally) when customers ask for help or directions to a product that they are looking for.Staff acting like they are way smarter than the customers?!Right from trying to find parking...you just know it is going to be a battle.My only advice is to take a little hip flask with a little something in it to make shopping here bearable!

This should be the flagship store for builders. Wide variety in-store. Service was good at the appliance side of the store, but was lacking at the contractors side. But overall good experience.
