Love the Bread Basket. Its a cute little shop come coffee/ Cafe. The staff and the owner is very friendly and welcoming. The store and Cafe is very clean and open . Love coming here when we shop . They have delicious foods and the coffee is Divine and the croissants are mouth watering. My best is the Cheesecake. So worth the drive . Look forward to coming again .

I really enjoyed their coffee in a cone a while back. They always have cool stuff on sale like imported candy or cereals. Their baked goods are great and the service is wonderful everyone seems friendly and happy. The place is very alive and feels like a positive space to be in. It’s really nice they’ve achieved some great vibes :)

Please dont buy their cake slices, the dryness seems to be their specialty, you can literally see the dryness in that cake through the camera lense.

Loved the options her. A bit busy but there was someone to help when asked. Good food as well, (lots of choice for lunch snacks) and could have limited seating of you felt like a rest.

Tried their prawn rissoles, jelapeno rissoles and spinach quiche. Very happy with the taste. Alil pricey per pop but hey its Sandton! Their other baked goodies looked great as well. Will be going back to try more of their stuff

Today I ordered roast beef on rye.It was dry,ice cold and inedible.So disappointing.Wont be going there again

We ordered coffees and tramezzini. The coffees were good however the tramezzini was very dry. The orders take too long to be served and the service has a lot to be desired from... waitrons are nowhere to be seen when you want to place an order or add on to the order or for the bill. Sorry guys but we may only come here for the bakery thats what we thought but the service there is also botched up so I guess a hard pass for the next time I have a craving for croissant and look for another place

I personally love their food and their staff are always friendly. However, the price of their cold drinks SHOCKED me. I paid R17 for a can of coke and R20 for a can of liquifruit. Thats as good as a sit down in a restaurant.

Love the cheesecake and the coffee is always served with a smile. The staff are friendly and inviting and have great stories when you have a chance to chat to them.They have a Greek extension which serves excellent gyros.

So we bought a cake today at Bread ahead Sandton Cityclearly they have lost touch how the hell did they miss the recipe? it is a sponge cake instead of a Vanilla Custard. we should get our money back ngeke. this is a sponge cake elimbi and worse we served it to people who definitely did not enjoy same at our office. The office and our clients are very disappointed by this.

One of my favourite bakeries ever, while it was in Eastgate. Just another casualty of the falling standards in Eastgate Im afraid. Now too far to drive, just for baked goods.

Best place for a well priced meal in Sandton City Mall! Food quality is excellent. Service is good, as well. Ive sat down to eat and also got take-away.The Greek gyros are also my favorite. Definitely recommend trying them!

Every morning I go to this bakery to buy their croissant and coffee special which starts at 7:30. Not a single morning have I got there and their croissants are ready and ontop of that I get told that they will be ready at 8. Why are you advertising this special start time as 7:30 if you are always unprepared. This is just poor service and its annoying.

If you like chewing gum then this is the place to buy your rolls. Manager/Owner told me to go buy my rolls at the Spar when I complained. Dont recommend this place at all

Ok heres the lowdown on the Bread Basket in Sandton City. The staff really arent friendly. Its almost like they went to the local Shoprite and offered the tellers a job LOL. The Deli staff are better, but by no means friendlier. The tellers are just horribleThen lets talk price, hmmm, so they sell not so fresh baked goods at a reduced price. Now if the stale item is sold at a price youd more or less pay for a fresh one at an alternative store I think youre just better off going somewhere else - especially in a mall and town where one is spoiled for choice.So rather go to Knead, Jbs, Doppios, Checkers, Woolworths or even the walnut grove for your sweet treat!Bread Basket isnt worth the trouble, trust me!

We bought cheesecake and carrot cake for take away this afternoon. Cheesecake tasted like onions, probably stored incorrectly. Carrot cake was dry and we didn’t like the taste. I definitely cannot recommend the Bread Basket.

First time we were very impressed. Second time very dissapointed by the service. Only table to not get biscuits with our cuppachinos, had to ask for sugar, sauces only arrived halfway through our meal and then sauces are just taken away while still using them. Had to call the waiter 3 times before plates were cleared after eating. Take note the restuarant was not even half full so no excuse for the bad service. Bread basket wont see us again

The wait for service was long eventhough the place was quite empty. After calling for the waiter we placed our order to share. When the food arrived there was only one plate and one set of cutlery, we were so annoyed by then, my daughter used the saucer from my teacup instead of a side plate. The food was good though but disappointing service.

Service and quality has dropped dramatically over past few months. One occasion we had to walk out because the food took too long to arrive and when it did it was the incorrect order. The manager appeared disinterested. Second, was a take out last week where the meat was clearly off and would make anyone sick. Something has changed at this restaurant in Sandton City.

The sliced cakes dry out quick, so dont taste the best. Their full vanilla and custard cake is delicious and light and their cheese cake is the best.

Buy their Gammon at Christmas for ourselves and one for a friend (gift) it comes pre-cooked and is delicious, their whole cooked turkey is also worth a try, both cooked to perfection

I bought 2 sausage rolls there yesterday. That has left me suffering from food poisoning today. I have been sick the whole night.

Their milk tarts and doughnuts are very tasty.

Making this review based on value for money. Way too expensive for the price. Paid R63 for a mediocre chicken and avo sandwich that didnt even come with a side.

Worse service, actually no service 06/12/2017, after requesting manager 15 minutes later has still not arrived. Service unit activated to call waiter, request bill, the manager, waiter arrives with Bill we have not even received food.
