This is my secret Office away from the office. Its an ideal place to come and work when you want some peace and quiet. The staff are friendly and accommodating going to great lengths to ensure that every desire is met. Prices are very reasonable given the quality.

This was the most amazing experience with Dani, Fortunate, Faith, Colin and the rest of the staff that assist this past Saturday with our intimate wedding. From the day I sent Dani an email to the time I walked down the isle, to finally having an amazing food, the staff have been impeccable, the service was so wonderful the venue beautifully kept and of course the rooms well furnished. Everything has been incredible. Really tasty food, moreish cappuccinos, and the portions are decent too. A little bit on the pricey side, but then again you get what you pay for. Waitstaff are friendly and service is prompt.

Ive used the Syrene as a training venue for years. The conference rooms are well-equipped and the staff is cheerful and very helpful. The snacks and meals are first rate, some of the best that I have had in all of my global travels. The patio is perfect for after- work relaxation or networking. I always look forward to returning to the Syrene.

Enjoyed my first night of honeymoon with my wife here, we both really enjoyed the stay, and would highly recommend it. The hotel room was spacious with a beautifully designed bathroom which hosted a bath and shower, the bed was comfy and the hotel was quiet which allowed for a peacful sleep, the door leading outside the lounge led out to a large well kept communal swimming pool. There was also plenty cupboard space as well as a safe. We enjoyed a great meal at the hotels onboard restuarant, room service was great as breakfast was delivered quickly. Expect to pay more than average here for the room and meals. This is a great space however if your looking to take a break from the city in the city.

Although we never stayed at the hotel, we made a reservation for the great little restaurant there, The Elm Tree is a great place, one of the only places open on the 2nd of January, we had breakfast and every dish was amazing, the service was great and waiter very attentive, his name is Collin ask for him 👌

Amazing place

My German guests were happy with their stay in Syrene. I was a bit dissapointed that Syrene did not offer them pick up and drop off service to the local shops and restaurants in the area. While Syrene staff also admitted it might not be safe to walk. Also the reservations for our German staff without prior deposits was a problem and had to be escalated but this was evetually amicably resolved by Syrene mgt.

This was truly a luxurious and tranquil experience. Rooms are spacious and decorated tastefully - not over done. Detail is given to presentation with absolutely everything, especially the food which was absolutely amazing - so much that we just had to call the chef to bid him compliments. The fillet steak and champions breakfast meal as well as the salmon and avo eggs benedict is highly recommended. Big thanks to staff Precilla and Faith and the rest of the team for the friendly and ellegant hospitality.

This is a little gem of a hotel tucked near the top of Sandtons main Riviona Rd, up in Edenburg. Its hard to spot from the outside but once through the gates there is a Mediterranean feel to it. The rooms are very generously sized, clean and modern. Its really quiet too and the food is very good. There were a few little things that could have led to the loss of a star, like no battery in the safe, small pool and no gym, but their commitment to service is really impressive. The battery was changed swiftly and bottled water appeared immediately as a temporary measure to the 3 days of water outage across Jburg that somehow the hotel then managed to avoid (to the envy of my colleagues)! Access can even be achieved by the S3 Gautrain bus (stop 14) from Sandton station, but Id recommend Uber for good general use in Jburg (although dont do that near a taxi rank, theres an unhealthy amount of hate between them). In short, Ill happily go back.
