A good place for families to enjoy nd relax

Bathrooms are not great and toilet paper is not provided. Campsites are quite big and provide enough space however the putt putt was not available as they didn’t have any sticks and the tennis courts are definitely in need of repairs. The pools are crazily busy with day visits wish there was a private pool for residents only.

Booked double room 2 adults.Linen & room clean but only one towel supplied. 2 cups but 1 saucer and only 1 teabag and 1 sachet coffee with lots of sugars ?? Staff friendly & helpful.

Enjoyed the day with my family, my kids loved the warm swimming pool and other activities a great place to chill

Dont go there. You have been warned. Maybe and thats a big maybe, mid-week out of season. Drunken load techno trance and techno funk music.

Nice picnic spot for the family 👪, and even more nicer in the evening when the kids are home and the music 🎶 gets louder.

It is a perfect place to be the have picnic area, Sharkey and camping site restaurant and a bar

Very happy with the place, had booked the 3 bedroom house and it had a lot of space, although the houses seem a bit old i was still very satisfied... Only reason its not a 5 star is because a baboon went in through the window while we were out and ate some of our food(we had left a window open and the steel on the windows have enough space for baboons to go in)

It looked fun at first but when I actually got there, the water looked a bit dirty. The pool water close to the slide had a very bad smell to it which made the experience difficult to enjoy. The stairs leading up to the water slide are very slippery and you can get easily injured.

Huge camp site, good ablutions, battled to get a meal which when it eventually arrived was pretty poor.

Day visitor rates are vastly overpriced. R 90 per person, also R 90 for parking on the premises far from the pools, in the sun. Bathrooms didnt have any toilet paper. Only 3 pools were open, one was dark green due to buildup on the bottom. The water slide was completely unsupervised and no lifeguards or staff in sight besides at reception. Grounds were covered in alcohol caps everywhere. The shop doesnt stock any food, just snacks and alcohol. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed. The only nice thing was the view. Definitely not visiting again or recommending them to anyone. Rather go somewhere else.

Attending a workshop, venue is well prepared. Covid 19 regulations followed, accomodation is up to standard.

We went for a hike to the Kloof with HIKING WITH A PURPOSE.Took a hike up the mountain to the falls. It Was breathtakingly beautiful.Nothing better to start your week with, to refresh your mind, body and soul. The water is crystal clear. Want to go back soon, God willing.

Their entrance fee its very expensive and there is nothing fun except the pools. Their toilets dont have toilet paper and soap to wash ur hands.

The resort is very big and well equipped. The water pressure is great in the ablutions.There rates are good and security is great ,but caravan sites are poorly maintained the fire places are all rotted away the toilets have never got toilet paper.The place is overrun on weekends by day visitors with loud music and drunken abandon.

The Amenities are great but the day visitors get to enjoy more of the facilities then the residents. They get to party till the next day. Not my idea of a holiday, at some point there should be exlusivity. Not to be repeated ...

Went for a hike felt unsafe due to rituals being performed all around the waterfall and Natural pools candles and empty bottles every where around the rocks and pools

As always, ıts a great place to chill and have fun with various audiences. However, it has changed a lot since my last visit there. The place needs an upgrade ör an improvement in ıts maintanence if ıts going to keep attracting people.

Loved the ambience and its culture

We visited and it was a good stay for 5 days. Pools needed work and within the days visited and after complaining it got clean and cared for. Grounds were very clean and bathrooms were cleaned every day. Staff were reasonably ok and helpfull. More features for smaller children would he great, the place has got ALLOT of potential. Stay was good. Security needs sharpening up and more control needed for day visitors and how late they allowed to stay on the premises.

Well-known, spacious rooms, spread out chalets , more parking space, self catering, swimming pool, big area for walking or exercise activities and safe as well. A nice place to relieve stress and enjoy.

Used to be much better before 2014. Still not a bad place, but on Saturdays the big pools are crowded with day visitors and that has made it become generally unsafe and so kids cant freely swim anymore, but the rest is fine. Should maybe also consider upgrading bathrooms.

Stayed here over the Christmas and New Year holiday period. Had a wonderful time. Staff were friendly and polite. Place was full of holiday makers enjoying them selves. Worth a visit any time of the year.

I havent been there but I heard people say its awesome.

Good for family outing & also caters for kiddies activities. Dormitories for families sharing, venue is very clean & I also enjoyed roaming peacocks. Its good for picnic after checking out they still allow us to braai, swim. We left late in the afternoon. The atmosphere & customer service toward patron is very good & they have a shop internally which is very reasonable if u forgot to bring some items. When its hot, the have lots of trees and their grass is well kept, the yard is very clean. We brought our own food & braaid but I bought ice cubes and lemonade.

Although it was Easter weekend it was reasonably quiet. Campsite was shady and ablution blocks very clean. Loved all the pools..warm and cold....want to go back there

My favourite holiday resort. Plentiful camping spots. Well stocked shops. Walking trails are beautifull

What we see on the internet is different from what we saw during our stay there. From the pictures on the internet, it shows that the place was regularly maintained and beautiful, what we saw when we got to the place however was an indication of a place that is dilapidated.We booked a 6 sleeper chalet but there was not enough chairs for all of us even when we had to watch TV there was only 2 single couches for the six of us🙄.Lights were not working on the walk way to the pool at night. There is just a lot that needs to be done to bring the place back to its original state

The manager is very rude, I think thats the owners wife. She is honestly bad for business. The place needs a major upgrade, pools need maintenance, the units need to be updated but the attitude of the lady will not attract patrons. The camp site was also ok the facilities just need attention. The only thing that would make me go back is the waterfall. If they try to maintain the trail it will bring in ppl.

The place is very beautiful and I wont mind recommending it to other people. I can even bring my family & friends on it, staff members are also friendly. Its really a place to for family, team building for company & even other events

The camping site on the resort is safe with regular patrol on the fence. The ablution facilities are clean and neat. Its a quiet & safe place for walking, cycling or just a weekend out of city life.

The place is full of lifeYou get in touch with nature, the rooms; WOW!!! And please take your hiking equipment with, you wont regret it.

The place great.. It has a nice slide and hot swimming pools... The chalets are to be rented for a cheaper and affordable.. Although the place needs a proper renovation because its getting old and rusty..

Ive been here before and had really awesome times. Maybe management has changed- whatever the case is we drove in and the guard asked what do we want? Like hello I would like to loiter and just look around ?? Then he said you need to go back outside with the car and then walk inside (which there is no signage indicating this)to pay per person and per car. (Before was just per person) anyway I would rather recommend driving your petrol out and rather spending a litter extra to go to sun city then have to go to a place like this

Enjoyed the night swim

Woke up with the floor flooded with water from the geyser. Noticed that the drain was blocked when I brushed my teeth. Horrible experience. The maintenance guys attended our room anyway so things got better afterwards.

I felt like am in a boarding school, counted plates n every piece of meat,cold food, very little variety, they might as well just dish for us into disposable take aways.am officially offended by the service here. I just never get why people think they can still make money in the hospitality industry by offering poor service, customer care.. Customer care... Customer care... Money... Money.... Money

Nice and easy place to go to for a swim with family, and has braai facilities! Also Ideal for picnics... there’s chalets for sleep overs and caravan areas and camping sites if you wanna sleep on a tent.

Lived there for 3 years...It is affordable and has most facilities. The pools there are better than most.
