Poor is an understatement of what you get at Rusties Lodge. Never would I recommend them. I booked myself and the Mrs in for 2 nights. On arrival we no electricity nor hot water. Nothing was followed with Covid Protocols. Owner is rude, unaccomodating, and unwilling to accept positive criticism. I actually spent those 2 nights in Road Lodge just a few kms down the which actually turned out to be a better option and alot cheaper and more comfortable and alot safer than Rusties Lodge. Guys dont waste your time and money on that.

Thank you to the great staff at Rusties. You made our 2week stay very pleasant. At first i wasnt sure if i should consider this place, due to the negative reviews but i must say we were very happy. Always ready to lend a helping hand. Will definitely make use of this place when in rustenburg again. Thanks guys

Terrible Service from the owner.... would not recommend this place at all..... they expect you to pay full rates for a cold shower and you just have to accept that its ok to be sworn from the owner..... poor poor poor..... photos on website is so deceiving.

Nice clean area

For the price you pay not so good. Lodge service is good but restaurant at bar needs serious improvement. Food was good but service is a no no.

Peace at its best

Beautiful place for one to come and unwind with friends or family. Welcoming and friendly stuff. The place is clean and the environment is just out of this world. Has a park for when you come with your kids, nephews etc! I am definitely coming back to this place with my cousins again! Although you could change a few things like replace your torn blankets but thats about it. I love it,😍

The stay was okay. But the furniture was broken, the linens were dirty and the blankets were torn. The doors were busted and the taps were liking. The place was also very loud so getting a peaceful sleep was almost impossible. I dont think I would visit the lodge again.

Nice place for the family any day of the week. Relaxed and spacious, with decent amenities.

Although spacious the accommodation was very dissapointing especially considering the price paid! Beds are old and tired matresses should have been replaced years ago. Doors have been punched holes and shabbely repaired. Bathroom door could not close toilet was broken and not to mention cockroaches running around the place I was rudely awoken in the middle of the night covered with ants so overall a horrible experience.

Charlotte welcomed us and treated us like family. We enjoyed our stay and the kids didnt even want to leave because of the facilities provided there.

Nice place just had a problem with the gates that was open to the big pool and the parking area. Our group closed it may b ten times between the parents but the other groups didnt care maybe management must make a board to ask people(who can not think small children needs to be inside)to close the gates behind them

Out of all the places we stayed over this was the worst. Self catering flats with zero aircon. The rooms are hot amd humid and they only have fans in the rooms to blow all the hot air around. How the hell do you have a place in the hottest parts of SA and you dont have aircon in the rooms? Cheapskates!!!!!The temperature cools off nicely at night but you can only experience that outside, because inside the flat remains hot as hell all night. When i went to ask about aircon and wifi (which they also dont have) the DRUNK security had an attitude and sarcastically commented there is a fan and if you still hot you can go swim. And How do you employ a drunkard as security? What exactly does he secure?The rooms were not serviced regularly and the cutlery and crockerywere dirty when we got here even the grater had old grated cheese on it. The one flats shower was blocked and the other flat had temperature issues, it was difficult to regulate the temp because the water would all of a sudden just run cold and the hot tap would be on full blast but only cold water came out and im sorry i dont feel the need to complain to the manager or whoever about the shower to be fixed because you should make sure your establishment is in working order when i get there because you didnt need to complain about me not paying my fees in full.There were cockroaches and other bugs in the flat which stands to reason because the flat is like a heat source.I was offered another night for free for all the drama which i declined because who wants to purposefully stay under these terrible conditions? I was then offered a refund/discount which im still waiting for.If you looking for a good time Rusties Lodge is not the place. Huuuuuge Waste of money. I would have rather paid extra money and stay somewhere better if i had known i would be staying in hell for a week. I would not recommend this Pathetic place to anyone!!!!The owners of rusties must come and stay over in their establishment to experience what they let paying clients endure. Please dont mistake the one star for anything good... I would give below zero if i could rate that

Very difficult environment to stay especially for a one night stay , no bathroom door , in the night at 12:00-2:45 there was a group of Young males and females being very disruptive but reception was nice & also apologetic for the complaint

When we checked into rusties lodge there was no lights due to load shedding in the area which was terrible since i have a 6 month old baby who needs bottles for the night which was a huge inconvenience as the lodge does have generates but on the one side only which did not help me at all. all we had was this very tiny light for the whole night which was such a waste to see in the dark it didnt help much at all, finally the light came on early hours of the morning which didnt help due to the fact that we all were sleeping. so in the morning the light when off once again which frustrated me highly at this point since i didnt have a chance to even put the kettle on to boil for my babys bottles. i had to boil water in a pot which is the only convenient thing to do cause they have a gas stove. So the lady that cleans the room comes when we leave to go out the day, she didnt even pick up a spoon didnt even touch the place the floors was dirty beds wasnt made nothing was done then you pay so much for living in an actual dump. i would rate this place zero since the owners never asked us once how was our stay. bad service all round
