Fantastic 👌🏻 Beautiful view of the dam and mountains. Ample seating inside and outside. The restaurant looks stunning, much larger than expected. There is a little deli type of shop in the front and they also grow a variety of fresh herbs close to the entrance outside. The beer is spot on and the food was delicious. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. Ended up spending a lot more time than anticipated. We will undoubtedly visit soon again.

Amazing food.. Amazing view.. And chilled beer/Brew... With something to do for family friends and kids... Must go to place.... On weekdays it closes around 9 pm.. Reach there by 3 pm and enjoy it to fullest. Try all the versions of fresh brew 🍻 best is Farmers Draught... Try to book a table in advance... Best is to stay there.. Book an accommodation and have fun. You can go for fishing as well in the near by dam.. .

What a beautiful place. On your arrival you are welcomed by ladies, not friendly at all. Feel like you want to turn around and walk away, but... You dont want to cause you have reserved a table, 5 day earlier, special request for a table on the deck. The deck, no you are not allowed to sit on the deck cause its reserved for other guests. What makes our group of people less special not sit on our reserved table, and now need to sit inside?Waiter, Franco, are very helpful, just a pity the kitchen staff arent on his side and takes forever to release the food? Maybe it was worth the wait, food were delicious.Definitely an experience, but not worth it to go back again. And Im sure it wont even bother management?

What a top experience! We were welcomed warmly and were given a brief explanation of how the brewery works. The view from the deck at the restaurant was top notch. Gift our waiter, did a top job and our food was excellent. Highly recommended!

I’ve been to the area many times in the last couple of years and I also know the old “Brauhaus am Damm”But now it’s under new management with the name “Brauhaus Afrika”.The beer was always great and hasn’t lost a drop of quality after the takeover. But know you could find a even bigger arrangement of beers, including Kölsch, Märzen etc...as a German myself I can truly say, that I wish more German beers these days would be like here! Test bestanden! ;)The food on the other hand has improved massively! Mostly local from neighbouring Flintbeck Farm, it’s a great mix between German and African styles!After bloody COVID I’m more than happy to come back!And of course, the view still remains beautiful as ever!

Fabulous function venue for anything from Conferencing, Team Building, Strategy Session. They have a gift shop, Arts, lots of information on the history and biosphere of Magaliesburg. The food at the restaurant is very good and they have there very own craft beer, brewery and they roast Coffee. Wow 👏 Thank you!

I had a great experience, we sat down for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. It was quiet, the service was fast, beer was cold and the food was good. I cannot complain. Will go there a again, beautiful views on the deck and interesting decor inside with the old Harley & BMW motorcycles.

The beer here is the real deal!! They actually brew an IPA. Food was absolutely divine: can defo recommend the creamy spinach and pumpkin fritters sides. Topped off with friendly service and an exquisite view. Cannot recommend highly enough. Flawless experience.

This restaurant and brewery near Rustenburg is one of my favorite places to visit. Their home brewed craft beer is phenomenal, the German themed food is excellent, and the staff are extremely friendly. It is situated next to a lake and some fields, so while you eat and drink you can enjoy a tranquil view of water, mountains, sunflowers and maize.

Some of the best locally made craft beer you will have. Try the Dunkel, Farmers Draught, and the Beer Lemon. They also bottle the beer they make.The food is also very very good.

Wonderful location with amazing views, great beer and great german food, what is more, unlike many real ale establishments they serve Becks Blue 0% alcohol free beer as an option for the designated driver so everyone can have a great time even those who dont drink alcohol.

This place is absolutely beautiful and only an hours drive from Joburg, right next to the Olifants Nek Dam. The food is amazing, reasonably priced, quality is amazing, service is surburb and they make their own craft beer, what could be better. A big recommendation for a trip out with the family on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. They do get extremely busy so may need to book to avoid disappointment

We were running late for our reservation after a delay hiking in Grootkloof, they sent us the menu on Whatsapp, we placed our order and when we arrived we were treated with brilliant Eisbein and well brewed beers!!Their food, location and service are top class!I first visited Brauhuas in 2011 and have never been disappointed. It is our regular lunch restaurant after hikes in the Magaliesberg.

Covid perspective:This is a very spacious venue. Outside seating is subject to a nice, consistent draught of fresh air.They have sanitizer at the entrance.There is a logbook and you are required to record your temperature.The staff wear their masks consistently.I had the duck and cherries pie and it was delicious. The pumpkin fritters are also highly recommended. The bretzels were so fresh and soft. The beer lemon is a favourite.
