This is a great grocery store.. They have a MEDI+RITE pharmacy for you medical needs.. Theres is a money market wich is also quite convenient.. They have a very wide variety of products and goods.. More than your usual Checkers would.. I would definitely recommend stopping here if you need to stock up.. All and all 8/10..

I buy all my groceries here since I moved to Rutenburg 3 years ago. The cashier forgot to put the mop I bought into my trolley, I queried the matter and the Manager, Pote, delivered the mop to my doorstep without any additional costs. Thank you for your service Pote!

It is nice to have a pensioners only queue but the last few times I have tried to use it there are people there who have 1 or 2 piled up trolleys. They are pensioners but there is no way the groceries are only for them. This defeats the object. Could something be done about this.

Great location but pathetic service. I seen a weber braai stand on special with a special price on it. On my arrival at the cashier, the price was R400 more on the item. Supervisors and managers kept telling me it was a mistake and they supposed to have removed the price but non of them wanted to apologize and give me the item as advertised. I ended up buying the item at the higher price as I was late and had no time to go buy one elsewhere.

Why does the shop open at 8am during the festive season? This is annoying honestly. Got here at 6:53 thinking Ill be in and out of the store by 8am. Do something, this is a busy time. Im seriously not happy.

Every time I shop at this Checkers when I get home something is rotten. If its not the meat, its the cheese that has turned blue with mold. Today I opened a box of eggs when I got home and the eggs are rotten. Everytime I pay at the counter theres meat laying there that a customer decided not to buy but no one will take it away or go put it in the fridges. It will lay there for ages. Up your game guys.! -5 STARS - THE SERVICES IS UTTERLY POOR AND PATHETIC!!! THE STAFF IS UNFRIENDLY UNWILLING ON SLOW STRIKE!!! THEY TRY TO ANNOY YOU AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THAT I WENT THERE WITH LESS THAN 10 ITEMS IN THE EXPRESS LINE WHICH SHOULD HAVE TAKEN 10 MINUTES AT THE MOST - I STOOD IN THAT LINE FOR AN HOUR!! THE STAFF ACTUALLY TRY TO WORK AS SLOW AS POSSIBLE - LIKE THEY DONT WANT YOU TO EVER RETURN TO THE SHOP.???? DO YOU THINK THIS IS PROPER SERVICE?

A good shopping experience - as far as good & grocery shopping go 😜 A wide variety of good at mostly reasonable prices. Fresh produce is generally good too. Parking never a problem, unless you come on a Saturday at month-end. And check-out is generally good, depending how busy the store is of course.

Rusty Dusty!, I had heard a lot about this place here. Most people I know from Rusternburg proclaim it to be too quiet, but I liked the pace. My first experience was that the people are friendly, I dont know if thats a general experience for everyone.Lets just say I still have to explore this side of town.

Not enough cashiers open, long wait.

Good size shop, with a wide range of products. Has ample parking, for wheelchair and mommys. Employees are friendly and keen to help. The shop is neat and clean and has nicely placed and marked shelves that are always nice and neet. A good and nice shop. Well maintained.

Food, camping, appliances they have it all. Variety for most things and good with pricing. All in all very good. Plus customer care also knows what is going on in the store and how to fix your problem. Lastly it is clean, something I need to have where I shop

Lovely shopping here. Plenty stock. Very clean neat isles. Nice cooked meals. Till staff need some training and should be friendly. Obviously dont like white people.

Well stocked. Wide variety of products. Typical Checkers Hyper store. Has a camping section, and a baby section. Much better priced and stocked than the Pick n Pay in Waterfall Mall.

Im very disappointed in the product that we are being provided and the service we receive, my husband bought litchis at Checkers Hyper Rustenburg, among other things and the lady who packed the bags didnt pack the litchis in, only when my husband got home I realized that the litchis was missing, he then drove back to Checkers to fetch them only to be told that he had to buy another box because she did pack them in. He then did so because I really wanted then and Pick n Pay was out of stock. I was quite upset and so phoned the manager who was very friendly and helpful. The first box we opened were rotten and the second had mold, Ive been calling the past 2 days to speak to the manager and every time the phone just ring for about 3 minutes so I would hang up and call again. Ive asked that the manager phone me back but nothing yet?

Good helpful staff but 2 stars because they have many tills yet only have 4 working causing unsessacery long ques and waits, I can even go there during my lunch time due to that reason.

Overall good quality products and clean store. The staff are mildly unfriendly. Has great produce.

Poor service. Very long lines. Waited 40 min in line. Not enough cashiers.... Many cashier points unattended... Floors are dirty in the aisles. Staff working extra slow and not friendly. Shelves untidy. Not a good experience at all.

Lack of staff. Very long line at express tills (10 or less items). Only two of six tills open. Cashiers extremely slow. People in line have more than 10 items and is not being shown away. Pathetic.

Although Chekers Hyper s prices are better than most shopping centres, I really dont know how most people can have a proper daily meal at food prices in this country. Its just sad.

Very nice shopping experience. It is a bit confusing how the they set up the merchandising in store, but effective to entice more shopping.

Checkers is by far the freshest and cheapest grocery store. Compared to competitors Checkers also offers ample parking, great specials and wide veriety. They also have excellent customer services. Just maybe try avoid the place near payday because unlike checkers, people are rude and dont have any common sense when it comes to parking or store etiquette.

I never enjoy shopping there as the lines are ALWAYS long and the people at the tills are forever talking withe each other. The shop is VERY NOISY and I rather go to Woolworths, pay more and know I will receive fast, excellent service!! Same applies to Pick n Pay in the mall!!

The shelves are well stocked with popular brands. Parking at the end of the month may be challenging, overall a easu and convenient place to shop.

Very poor there is never any stock on the shelves even when there is specials even less or no stock. The products are fewer. They say they a striking again. Thats not my problem. We will be taking our business else where.

The staff at the till is extremely slow not because there are long lines just take their time. And this is extremely irritating when u have to wait for an hour and there is only one person ahead in the line at the till.point

Parking at the end of the month is insane. You may end up not shopping there because you cannot find parking. Otherwise, good shopping centre.

It is a hyper market therefore you will get a good selection of food stuff, garden stuff, house & home DIY stuff and cloths.

A one stop shop where you can buy everything. Friendly Car Guards and people willing to push your trolley and help pack your groceries. These guys are desperately trying to make a living so please support them. VERY BUSY at the end of the month!

Checkers have wonderful specials and service experience always very good.

DO NOT ATTEMPT CALLING (No assistance)I called checkers to find out if they had stock of the childrens spring buck shirts. The lady first did not understand and said no they dont have any then finally she understood that im asking for a clothing item and then said shes putting me through to liquor, WHAT?! I said no no no its in the clothing section and she said im putting you through to customer care and there I went, she did not care to hear me out, also Customer care just RINGS...

Its pleasant to shop at Checkers Hyper but my concern is that the shelves are always empty, if they get people to pack and replenish stock. Its very frustrating to shop on month end and the store doesnt have enough stock🤨😏

Always the right things at the right price. Just dont expect to find baking items in the baking isle. Other than that, no long queues at the tellers, friendly staff.

Shop itself is great, good variety - however the staff could use some customer service training.

My favorite store in the whole town . I love the food bar , especially the chicken strips ( I get some everytime I go there . Also find photo attached ) .Going to Checkers is like a Christmas morning , its like childhood , theres just something about Checkers that makes you excited . Its probably all the deals .I enjoy browsing the candy shelves always seeing something new and imported (I havent seen Toblerone in a while) . You can be assured that checkers will always have the best prices on imported items such as pasta sauces and other foods .I dont even know how Spar or Pick n Pay can still compete .I absolutely love Checkers ❤ .A+++ 10/10

The owners have decided to employe the minimum amount of tellers. 8 Tills on the 10 items or less side but never more than 3 tellers working. Same gies for the normal tills. Profits always above customer service. It is realy not a pleasure shopping at Checkers Platinum Square

Next to PNP Greystone this would be my second favourite place to buy. PNPs meat is better but there are more variety here.
