I took my car in to Mercedes Benz Constantia Kloof dealership for a service and in the interim of the car being there they damaged my car by bumping it and there is footage of it. However, they want me to pay a 70% portion for the bumper repairs but 80% damage was done by them. The bumper had a tiny paint crack that never required any fixing as it did not concern me, but the car came back with the entire side of the bumper scraped. They did not have the integrity and transparency to tell me the same day the car had been damaged I noticed it when I collected the car and arrived home the same day in which I had called emailed the same day to let them know , and as of current my car is still not sorted out. Now my question is, if I had not noticed the damage were they going to be honest about it and repair it? And if I had not had the existing tiny paint crack would they have repaired the entire bumper in any case which is what should have been done according to Consumer Protection Act Section 65. What is R5k for Mercedes?? They would rather ruin their reputation than satisfy customers that THEY NEED. Their customer service is UNETHICAL & PATHETIC. Mercedes are daylight robbers , what would a company be without its consumers yet they treat their customers like this? DISGUSTING!! Ill be sure to let this get to Mercedes Head Office South Africa!

I genuinely had a poor experience with this dealership. Came in looking for a car and there was just zero interest from the staff. People just sat down and carried on like I wasnt there. However thank you Wendy for being the one to help me and I hope you grow to bigger and better things.

I had the worst service ever with parts apartment they dont know their parts they dont want to help me. Was looking for a W117 CLA sports bumper according to me they all fit on eachother. They cant just tell me if they have one or not. This kind of stuff will let me sell my car
Although the security staff are curtious and polite, the same cannot be said for the service booking staff, in particular, Richelle. She was rude, unaccommodating and argumentative. Not acceptable for a Merc branch
Sadly I had to wait for good 20 minutes, no one asked if needed any assistance (new car sales showroom). I had to literally go into one of the office to ask if theres anyone to help. I had gone to this dealership to change the key/remote battery. I saw something I liked but lost interest...
Horrible service. They cannot even tell you how much a standard service costs. Complained and the reference number they gave me was too short with a silly lady on the phone that I could barely hear. Got so frustrated I just put the phone down. Pathetic!
Very poor service from this dealership. I have been dealing with them for 3 years and their service telephonically is honestly not the best.
Their servicing division (and communication to their clients) is not on par with the brand proposition. They spend hours looking for a fault, only to then admit that the fault is caused by another issue(the battery)? They then propose charge for fault finding as well as a new battery, cognisant that there is no fault?What am I missing?
The most unprofessional service Ive ever had done on any car. After a lot of despair and unsatisfied service I finally get in my car, but the music is blaring! Hope the party was nice in my car. Will never do a service here again and I will always tell people not to go to this branch.

The engine light was on after before the service and after the service. When I asked about the engine light, they took the car back for inspection and said the engine was misfiring.When I asked them why they did not pick this up on the service, the very arrogant and rude response was because you did not ask us to check.Surely the point of servicing a car is to do diagnostics as well and to inform the owner if there are any anomalies, or does an engine light not count as a warning flag?

Salesman was quick to push deal, promise feature that car did not have. Avoid deals around end of the month, I wasted a lot of time to rectify their mistake, and I had to pay in extra for that mistake and get what I came for. Reversing the deal was not an option. Sandown Preowned site has terrible search function and incorrect information, wonder why they are not on SA Merc site with the rest.

Yesterday my husband and I went shopping for a car. We literally walked around the show room new cars for about 10 minutes. No one attended to us or came to ask if they can assist us. On our way out my hubby was just complainingWalking past the people at reception or something about this thats when one lady said can she call someone for us. Why must someone be called to attend to us when sales people should be visible or should approach us to check if they can assist us with anything especially since we were the only people on the floor. It was not a matter of they were busy with other buyers. I must say I am very offended. Anyway, your loss. We took our business elsewhere.

I will tell you about the service later. First I have to check what they have done. My car was not ready in the afternoon, it seems they didnt have the right part( oil filter). Didnt change the polling filter no part available here in South Africa. I received the car the next day perfectly washed and vacuumed. The staff didnt stop to apologise, although it wasnt theyr fault. Price a bit steep but again it is a Mercedes.

Took my car in to Mercedes Constantia Kloof for its A3 service on Wednesday the 25th March 2020 at 7:30am. I also informed the service adviser that the eco stop / start mode on the vehicle was not working. I got a call at 3pm later that day from the service adviser to tell me that a technician was attending to my car. I dont know why Mercedes insist on us dropping off the vehicle between 7am and 8am, if they are only going to get to servicing it at 3pm! Nevertheless at 4:20pm, I get another call from the service adviser advising that - despite them charging the battery for the eco stop /start, the feature was still not working. She advised that I could leave the vehicle overnight with them in order to charge to battery fully so that the feature would work properly, since the battery was low. Got a call on Thursday morning at 8:50am informing me that the vehicle was all sorted and ready for collection. I fetch the vehicle and on the way back home find out that the eco stop / start is STILL not functioning! I go back to the dealer, and the service manager, Dirk, takes the vehicle for a drive to confirm the problem still exists. Then begins the litany of excuses. Dirk advises that the battery could not be replaced despite the car being under warranty, and that they now need to book the car in again to check where the fault was. I pointed out to him, that that was the reason why the vehicle was left overnight with them was so that they can resolve the issue. This fell on deaf ears, and I got an earful of technical jargon. I drive a premium vehicle to avoid issues like this! I now have to take the vehicle back after the lock down period has ended to have them re-look at the problem again. This is extremely poor and inefficient service.
Contacted telephonically & was cut off by the parts department 3 times. Only when I changed my attitude to match theirs did I get someone to assist. I dont understand the attitude where you feel like you are doing me a favour by taking my call. Eventually collected the parts I required. I thought one was supposed to aspire to the fantastic experience linked to the 3 pointed star. Sorely mistaken in the case of this dealership.
Dealership lost my keys, faild to communicate regarding the proses. Management not getting back to me aded additional items to the invoice to cover cost of the key replacement had to request audio proof from the call center just to proof the amounts agreed on is R7000 less then invoice, worst dealership ever after the car was serviced I got it back with 2 errors 2 flat tires, dirty, and still a service light on and a service consultant that does not know what she said or did the day before, WELL DONE MERCEDES

Dreadful. Only went to pick my daughter up. Cant believe it takes 6 weeks to get a part. In this modern day and age. Germany is a phone call away. It was fixed elsewhere and no part was needed. Also the parking is surely la king. Glad I havent got a Merc

Overcharging is their bread and butter. Charge you R5000 to strip the engine to check for a fault. I paid and took the car to a different mechanic that said they did not remove a single screw from the engine. They did manage to diagnose the problem and quote me R135 000 to fix it. My mechanic charged me R25 000 to fix it. Car goes like a dream.

Perfect quick attention. I love the fact that they arrange for your shuttle promptly so that you can get on with the day while your car receives the needed service. The drivers are great guys, very polite and they know their way around. The service advisors are meticulous to detail and very professional.
From the moment I walked into the place, the message echoed is we will maximise our revenue and minimise our costs ... of course at my expense. The quote I got for my normal service was inflated by at least R4000 then they refused to offer me shuttle service (I stay 5.7kms away from the place).

I have been with this dealer for over 5 years, today had to go back as with my car service they did not stamp the service book, in the interim the front headlight blew (previously it was replaced for me without cost) i asked if it would be able that they could replace it again for me(as I do not know anything about cars) waited 10 minutes for an answer, then as i walked out the service provider told me wait he will call the workshop again, The comment back was i should go and buy a bulb and come back and then they will fit it for me.I said then just leave it, I will not go back to have my cars serviced there again as this is how one gets treated if you are not spending a lot of money and asking for a favor then i do not want to do business with them
