I was happy with the service, from the security gurds at the gate, to the ladies at covid 19 screening station and the admin staff.

Its a good College, yet it has poor assistance. During registration period youll make a lot of up and downs, more especially when applying for NSFAS ...better have enough cash for traveling since youll be making a lot ups and downs (going home and returning). Assistants dont have the same info, I advise you go to the management for the most accurate information.

The staff members are so unhelpful,they dont know anything about their work place and job descriptions. I regret going there. all they do is give you the run around like a headless chicken they dont know anything about anything

I wouldnt even give these people a full star. Been struggling to get my certificate or even just my results since last year July. Sent in Affidavit and ID copy as they requested. More than a year later I still have nothing and they dont answer phones or respond to emails. Where can I report this?

Great campus, good administration at the offices, I was there just recently to make a few queries and I must say that I was well assisted, the staff really seemed to be enjoying what they were doing, they were quite informed and very helpful, my overall experience was great at this campus, its neat, good environment and conducive enough for studying theres also a variety of courses to choose from which are well specialized for each trade.I was also impressed by the computer labs they seemed modern, the library also had went through some refurbishments and looks a lot improved than before, I found this specific campus quite competitive in comparison with other TVET campuses, I received professional assistance and it was impressive how the admin clerks were so effecient with the registrations and the issuing of study materials.I certainly would recommend this campus for providing professional and efficient services to any person who would be interested in furthering their studies

Nice buildings. Venues in good condition. Toilet facilities can improve, toilet seats were nowhere to find but it was clean. Secure place.

South West Gauteng College is a public Technical and Vocational Education and Training  (TVET), formerly, FET college,  operating under the auspices of the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) in terms of the Continuing Education and Training Act, Act No.16 of 2006, as amended. The College is accredited by Umalusi and several Sector Education and Training Authorities (Seta’s) to offer education and training, mostly in the FET band (NQF Level 2 to 4). Some programmes are offered in the Higher Education band i.e. the N4 to N6 levels.

None of the 3 numbers on the website work.After a week of trying to phone, where the phone just rings. I arrived to request a copy of my matric certificate, and/or examination number and student number and plainly got told that I cannot be helped and that I must get it from the department of education. Pathetic

Have been on the phone for the past 30 minutes, trying to get hold of someone who can attend to my query. Getting through to the finance department is a nightmare.
