Great area, very scenic and clean. Staff are friendly and professional. Food was really nice, however pizza bases are a bit too thin for my liking and I like thin base pizza. The menu does not have much variety and price can become rather exorbitant, but otherwise its a really nice place to visit.

This venue is probably one of the most beautiful ones Ive ever seen. Cant really say the same about the whole experience. The waiters were super friendly. However, the espresso shake was a let down. I expected something totally different then a 340ml beer glass with just ice, cream and espresso blended. There was absolutely nothing “gourmet” about the milkshake and that time its R46, yoh. The water glass provided had a small insect in it, totally spoiled my mood for water. The thin-based pizzas was okay. This venue has so much potential. Hope when I visit soon, things will be better.

What a disappointing experience. We went to Christinas with the idea to have lunch. We ordered a Caribbean pizza which was definitely not worth a R130 as the base was flakey with minimal toppings. Then we ordered a Creme Brulee which was even more disappointing. Costing R70 I really expected it to be extraordinary but unfortunately it didnt taste good at all. We are really disappointed in our experience and most likely wont return.

Wow to gourmet food excellent service and a great wine in the most beautiful gardens

The staff were friendly, the service was good but my Margerita pizza was terrible. The crust was so overdone, it was more like a biscuit and was pretty tasteless. Considering the prices, I expect a better standard of food.

Wow! Called in at 2pm on Valentines Day (without a reservation)... Were seated straight away on the terrace and had a superb meal. I highly recommend the surf and turf, both the steak and calamari were excellent. The food was so good, we ordered a pizza, salad and brownie to take home for dinner, rather than having to cook!!I only wish they were open until 4pm, so we could have done a wine tasting after our lunch.

We visited fairly early on a Sunday.The service was not great and the food so-so.This place is really popular and by the time we left was nearly full.I suggest you make a lunch reservation over a weekend, especially for larger groups

The food was excellent, and the wines were really nice, but the venue just couldnt cope with the long weekend rush... Also, no beer available (yes i know its a wine farm, but they brew beer now)Its crazy that two venues share the space, but neither is allowed to serve shared tables

Christinas at Van Loveren is pretty good. The pizzas especially were really lovely. The pasta of the day was mediocre though. Although the service was excellent, they could do a bit of sprucing up to the interior of the restaurant, considering how beautiful the other vineyard restaurants are in the region.

Great coffee, breakfasts and burgers! Our waitress, Cecilia, was amazing. Excellent service. The setting was absolutely beautiful under the grapevines. Would definitely recommend.

Waiters were great! High chairs and plates of chips appeared out of nowhere for the kids. Food were fantastic and venue so relaxing! Definately recommend it.

We went for lunch but there is good wine tasting here. The drive out is scenic and the gardens are very pretty. The food is wholesome and tasty although the menu is quite limited. Generally a very pleasant place for a small lunch.

Stunning, tranquil and serene garden setting with friendly staff and excellent food. Highly recommended. I had the Patagonia Calamari - the best I have had in years. And my husband had the fried camembert with fig preserve - devine!

The finely sliced smoked Springbok pizza is something special. Fortunately the flies werent the only business buzzing - live acoustic music and cool misters make this an oasis of taste in this viniculture valley.

Nice setting inside for a cold day or outside in the sunshine . Pizzas were great.

Great food and decent wine with the wines being a very reasonable price. Great service as well and in the summer the opportuniy to eat in the garden and while seating without the garden being available when it rains is restricted it is cosy inside with a fire going to make it comfy. There are times when it can get busy so booking a table is advisable.

I expected more.

Interesting and charming place to eat as well as to taste the wines. Meal served in the patio in the shade of beautiful vegetation. The restaurant closes at 15h and tastings a616h. Interesting tastings accompanied by small snacks in relation to the wines tested. The staff is friendly and smiling (which is not always the case everywhere) 👍

A nice restaurant in the wine shop that food was very good and of course the wine too!We would be served very friendly and the food was delicious!Very cheap in terms of price!Which is also a great idea, some wine bottles are made of plastic, so you dont have to worry about taking a souvenir with you in your luggage.
