I had to use Life Robinson for maternity with my gynea, Dr Aigbe, who is the best! The theater team was excellent especially the anesthesiologist and the maternity ward staff were so patient, attentive and supportive - a big thanks to sister Rose and sister Maria (day shift) and sister Melanie (night shift); and the lovely sister Zola upon my discharge - these sisters went an extra mile to ensure I was well taken care, post-op pains were managed excellently, and my newborn was prioritized always. A big thanks to Dr Busi Ngcobo, she is such a professional and a thorough Paediatrician.

Peiole skills are good and very helpful

The best Gynecologist/Obstetrician Ive ever come across. Dr Aigbe gave me the best advise on what route to take for birth, considering my history. He was able to address a nuchal cord situation. Then, he recovered my ruptured uterus and fixed up my previous cesarean scar, after I gave birth to my healthy baby. He not only saved me and my child, but he also saved my womb. Im glad I found this miracle worker. 🙏🏽

No wheelchairs, the few that are around are good for scrap. For what is supposed to be a premium private facility. It dirty and is in dire need of a clean and revamp.

Very bad service received. I took my 18 months old daughter to casualty as she couldnt keep anything in and had tonzilitis. Firstly it took a day to get us a bed in Pediatric ward. First we had to spend the night in the normal ward, due to lack of beds open in pediactric ward. The service in the normal medical ward was absolutely pathetic. Not one of those day staff could put in a drip for my daughter and i was told to wait for the night staff to come in as they know how. It took them 13 attempts before they could get a drip in. I mean really for a 18 months baby that is a very painfull traumatic experience. Got to the pediactic ward only the next day where the service was a bit better and more friendly. The point is i will never go to Robinson again, i will rather go to Wilgeheuwel.Lastly my daughter started bleeding as no nurse knew how to put in drip. They left the blood on the linen and floor untill the next day. My baby had to sleep in the blood, they didnt worry. When you call them they got cheeky and was rude.I will not recommend this hospital to anybody. I think going to a state hospital would have been a better experience.

My wife took me to this hospital last night 10/01/2021 around 18:00 because of a medical emergency. And she was with our 3 years old daughter. Upon arrival, we met a nurse namely (Caroline) whom does covid-19 screening. This lady then asked who was the patient and main member of the medical aid. As soon as the answer was me, she immediately told my wife and daughter that they were not welcomed at the hospital and they should leave, only the patient was welcomed. She further told my wife that this is a hospital and not a shopping mall, we have covid-19 now. My wife drove me to the hospital because it was an emergency and it was not like i was going to doctors rooms.After that i was expected to pay R550 (not paid by M.A) for xrays because there is a Doctor call out fee for after hours. I really dont understand this kind of practice.But with my horrific experience in this hospital, i would never tell anyone to go there nor will i ever set my foot there.

Stand for hours to get tested for covid and no bathroom available or maybe only for certain people

Have been waiting over 5 hours to be admitted, after hospital staff gave wrong name to medical aid. Then told by the admin guy to be patient after just asking to check for my approval. Absolutely rubbish and making me feel unwelcome.

Dr Aigbe:one in a million 1st class service from day to the very end.hard to find a new gynae since relocating to a different province,he sets the bar too high

Staff do not care about the patients. My 14 year old son was admitted and they treated him terribly. Woke him 4 in the morning to give him a sleeping tablet they forgot to give the previous evening. Asked for assistance as the TV was not working, he was told to sort it out himself. Bed linen has not been changed since he was admitted.

Very bad service, doctors on call take forever and visiting hours are not accurate, outside you get different time than than inside.

I was admitted with my daughter in the Paed ward for 6 days in mid April. The services from the staff was fine, I really cant complain.I feel however the standards of cleanliness at this hospital are below standard especially for a private hospital. On the surface all seems well but when u stay there and actually observe, it honestly leaves a lot to be desired. The cleaner seemed not to have a timetable, on one particular day i remember the room was not cleaned all morning! I was too worried about my childs illness to point it out at the time but when we were finally discharged, I realised i had developed a bad ringworm on my chest which I am still battling to get rid of, more than a month later! This is the main reason I wrote this review. I am very disappointed in that regard.If I have to go back to hospital again, i will certainly try out other options before I go back here.

This hospital is very bad! The service 👎 the staff 👎 they must close this hospital for good. I was given no attention instead I was called a drama queen for being as sick as I was. A woman was screaming for help all night until morning when I was discharged yet she was not attended to at all until doctor came. Im so annoyed! Everything was dirty. Even public hospitals are not that bad...

The hospitals pediatric ward is the worst in the world. Nurses in there dont care about the wellness & wellbeing of poor babies. They sit at their working station the whole day, not even caring to come check if all is still okay. Youll wait fir them to come change a childs drip, or medication, theyll only come when they are now bored from sitting. A childs drip will leak to the extend of all the drip finished without entering the childs body. Robinson used the be a good hospital, not anymore.The casualty department, which is obviously an emergency unit, gives thee slowest service ever. Youll wait fir 4 hours just to see the docot. This is sad. For the prices they charge, we expect 5 star treatment that matches the 5 star charges they charge but we endup getting a 1 star treatment for a 5 star charge.

Bad experience with Dr Aigbe

In general the staff are friendly and helpful and one gets good service as a patient. There is an integrated approach to the delivery of health care, including physio-, occupational-therapy and medical devices arrangement as necessary and prescribed by the doctors. The food is also not bad, although steaks can be tough.

Had a great experience at Life Robinson during my delivery. Very friendly staff from the reception area to the maternity ward. Will not forget Sister Linda who made me laugh throughout my period of admission and always available to give advice. Dr Dlamini is the best, took good care of me and delivered my baby safely. Dr Angura took good care of my baby and is still doing so. Best experince thanks

I had the most wonderful experience at Life Robinson, my gynae Dr Aigbe did an amazing job during my antenatal visits as well as the delivery of my daughter, he saved my pregnancy when it was threatened and gave me hope that things will be okay.My overall experience from the admissions staff to the maternity ward staff was wonderful, i definitely recommend the hospital and the doctor to any expactant mother.

I phoned and spoke to the pharmacist to find out if they stock an ointment I need to use, the pharmasict said no our doctors use a different product ??? She didnt even ask what the name of the ointment is, just they dont use it??? Really???? No doctor uses any ointment? If thats the service I would be really afraid to actually be a patient in this hospital. Wonder if they use medicine.... Doesnt matter which type, it seems. What bad service. Thanks for wasting my time

Hospital is great but we had an issue with a refund. My wife was a private patient so we had to pay cash and so we did. 8 months down the line i received a Sms and Email stating that they need to refund me. So we send the paperwork through to the email provided to me and we received a statement showing the amount they needed to refund us and that it would take 10 working days to process the payment. After 27 works days and 20 calls later they say no we wont be getting a refund because they paid some doctors with the money.

Terrible service at Robinson emergency department. My mom fell at the old age home and needed stitches. She has late stage dementia. Waiting 3 hours. They took her blood pressure. Nothing else. I finally took her to medicross princess crossing where she received immediate help.

Terrible care provided by nursing staff at Robinson. My grandfather fell while he was in their care and they failed to treat his open wounds. Also gave him his medication almost 18 hours after the Dr requested it. Pathetic.

This hospital is disgusting. Catheter bag in the sink, heart monitor stickers left on furniture and patients bedding is dirty. Unhygienic hospital and poor standard of duty.

Good and well place when youre sick.

We had an amazing experience throughout my whole pregnancy. Dr Aigbe is an incredibly professional and knowledgeable Obstetrician-Gynecologists.My husband was amazed by how effortless and easy he made doing the cesarean ,Thank you Dr Aigbe for going an extra mile for the delivery of our daughter, you are truly God sent. Thank you once again to the staff at Life Robison Private Hospital 👏👏👏we have a beautiful baby girl.I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a good Gynae.

This is the worst hospital I have ever had an experience with in years. The staff does not care about anyone there and you cant get any answers from staff or the doctor. They keep on saying that we should make an appointment to see the doctor to get answers. This is totally ridiculous.Today we phoned the doctors rooms and was told if come NOW we can see him , but the more I explain to her that we work in the East Rand the more she says we can come now. Please people stay away from this hospital. I f we could I would transfer patient, but might make things worse for her health.

Waiting time to have a sonar over an hour now and still waiting this is not on some people are not just living around the corner and still have to travel back home. Only 1 doctor on duty.

This is my second visit to the maternity ward. The nurses are friendly caring and extremely attentive!!!! Not a single source face nothing but smiles and laughter... All discovery expecting mums should come in and experience this service. Plus they provide antenatal classes for FREE! I cant wait for my little one to meet these amazing ladies. As for my Dr Augbie based here is by far one of the best humble kind caring gyne in gauteng!!! Please visit this amazing team!!

I will give the staff 5stars, they really looked after my kids at peads, they cared for them and comforted them so well.

Internists are just here for the moola. Patient keeps experiencing major side-effects for medicine prescribed by some of these doctors. They refuse to do follow ups (call or visit) with patient, to see patient again, as patient (in Robinson hospital) is not really *their* patient. Patients own GP keeps having to lower their prescriptions to stop patients side effects. This is everything from high blood pressure medication to cholestrol medication,which caused a whole bunch of secondary diseases. Its all about the money for these guys.

Dont bother, calling. Most of the time calls go unanswered. And if it finally does get answered, bunch of inept people who does not know the first thing about telephone etiquette! After being put on hold for upteenth time call gets dropped end then they never bother picking up again!

Useless . Cant get info when you call. They just transfer you from one line to the next.I called to assist someone else , they pathetically useless, still cant answer calls , whoever is incharge here seems to be sleeping,They have a useless voicemail that says your answer will be answered , over 16 minutes and still no answer

I am not impressed with night shift staff,,I will give Robinson 3 stars,,,1 for warm welcoming,1 for day shift staff and 1 for place being clean, ,,, iyooo as for North wing night staff,,..4gt

So far I have waited 3 hours for my son to get an x-ray and then when they did get here they told me they cant do it... I got messed around by the x-ray department

Got here on 18:00 on Sunday and got admitted around 23:00 then the following day took xrays and waited for hours for a doctor to come and tell whats wrong with me.

Dr Faber fantastic, saw me for the 1st time after a car accident. Dr J Vandermerwe saw mystic and immediately obtained x-ray scan and necessary tests. I was admitted to Orthopedic Hall, after which Dr Faber consulted me. Human 10/10 for Dr for thorough examination and caring.s Would definitely recommend Dr. Extremely professional, competent, good manners respectful. Thank you Dr you are Tops.
