Had the opportunity to eat at this establishment a couple of days ago and I must say its very impressive, bunny was loaded with meat and potatoe just melted away in my mouth, a tad heavy on the turmeric but its forgivable, didnt get the guys name but hes very friendly, carrot salad was amazing good balance of salty, sweet, sour and spicy, menu is limited, personally I would love to see samoosas on the menu, maybe some traditional items like tripe and trotters, didnt see those on the menu but it would be great, overall the experience was great and definitely worth the try especially with the lack of good bunny chows in gauteng, well done Dali.

Food was amazing. I could taste and see that the food was cooked fresh!! I will definitely recommend curry lovers to try it out. I tried the chicken curry and the lamb biryani and it was amazing.

Really good Indian (South) food. The mutton curry is delicious. The owner Deva is always at the restaurant and remembers every customer. A nice touch and a add to the homely feel of the establishment.

Great first experience for me. There is a lot of factors that i look into before giving 5 stars and my reasons are as follows;1. Easy Parking2. Neatness and tidiness of Restaurant3. Friendly passionate staff4. Good spacious seating5. Loads of flavor and not too much burn6. Extremely generous servings(even the salad comes in a separate bowl)7. I have had a lot of bunnies in jhb but I strongly believe this is the best bunny in JHB. The curry is spicy which is just what I look for. The bread soaked in well and didnt fall apart like some bunnies and was served with a generous portion of salad. The customer service part is lacking a bit as I waited 30 min for my take away order. The owner said that he is currently working with one other person due to the risks involved with COVID which I can appreciate. Perhaps the best way for customers would be to order in advance and then pick up. The meat pieces were mostly bones in my serving which was a bit disappointing but the curry made up for it. I rated it down due to the last two points that could easily be fixed.Best bunny in Jhb !

DALI iS THE BEST curry place in the Northern Suburbs of JHB. Its not fine dinning, its just amazing South African Durban Style curry. Its spotlessly clean. All food cooked ONLY by Deva - owner and trained Chef.Its always freshly cooked. No frozen food reheated and rubbish like that as from places thay will remain nameless.His chops and Kebab Chutney is from Heaven. His chicken and mutton curry , Roti Rolls are incredible. Great quality meat. Generous portions per price ratio.The food is CONSISTENTLY GOOD day in and day out.Deva is an amazing man. A man of integrity, decent, warm and friendly. He bakes like a Master Chef too.Dali is the BEST KEPT SECRET IN JOHANNESBURG as far a curries go.
