If I could give a zero rating I would. The service from Current Automation is very bad, they treat you like they are doing you a favor, not like you are a paying customer. I had an inverter that was installed by them that stopped working. I called them for a call out. The call out process is a nightmare. They require the call out fee to be paid upfront. Even after I paid the call fee of R1073 they took a full week before coming out, and there is no communication in between.Then Simon came a took the inveter away for repairs. 4 weeks after he took it away, there was still no update on the progress. Finally the repair section called me and said they did not have my contact details all along thats why no one contacted me - so my inveter had been sitting there for a month after Simon took it away without anyone having my contact details. Now the repair section is telling me that it has been repaired and I can come and pick it up. However I cant just pick it up because it needs installation and Simon is not responding to my emails regarding the installation, since he took the inveter out, he needs to come back and instal it. Im still waiting.The biggest problem with this company is poor communication and lack of care for the customer. Very disappointed.Update: Simon came back to me on the same day of this review and my inverter has been fixed and installed. Thank you for the positive response.

After-sales service lacking... I purchased a Meanwell TS-1000 from Current Automation in June 2018. In April 2020 I ran into a fault with the inverter, and sent a support E-mail from their website, which was delivered successfully. After waiting 2 months for a response which never came, I then tried forwarding the same mail on 14th June, stressing in the mail that I was still awaiting feedback. Were now at the end of July and neither of my mails have been responded to. I understand that were in the midst of a lockdown & tough economic conditions, but take some pride in your business. What use is your Meanwell inverter repair facility if you arent willing to address a simple service request, especially considering that Ive already diagnosed the fault and know exactly which parts I need? Ill consider revising my rating when youve actually acknowledged my support ticket...!
