Got my Inverter repaired. Many thanks for the quick and professional service.

A year ago I received good service from Caprica, however, since then their service have gone to the dustbin. The last inverter that I had repaired there was in the shop for months. I had to contact them on a regular basis for feedback. They never return your calls or keep their promises. They were suppose to install a new main board in the inverter, instead they tried to repair it ( they later admitted it ), although the amount on the invoice reflected the cost of a new board. Result was that after months of delays and promises, the unit was received. After re-installation it ran for 30 seconds and then blew the 100 amp battery fuse, as it did before they repaired it. I installed a new inverter for my client at my cost in order to save myself from further embarrassment. I contacted Caprica in this regard. I am again waiting for feedback. You use them at your own risk.

They were the only place I could find in Gauteng who could repair my inverter and they will do it very affordably as they have the specialised skills to replace individual chips instead of entire components.I had to bring the unit in all the way from Mpumalanga but it was well worth it. The local solar company would only quote to replace the inverter.

Good with the service these guys delivered escpecially when i was in the store. Repaired my 5KVA Kodac hybrid inverter within two days. If you have the need to repair these items, i can reccomend Caprica Solar, but you may need to check up on them for progress updates.Since this review they have offered to buy one of my inverters (at a discounted price for them) but have not paid the agreed amount in nearly 3 months now, just keep on getting messages that they will check into when the payment will comence but has to date not responded with any info at all.

I have to rave about Caprica Solar! After searching high and low for a company to supply and install new batteries for my inverter with absolutely no luck from lots of companies I was starting to feel very despondent. Then luckily I came across Caprica whilst googling. Well Usher and his team were professional from the word go - these guys sourced, and installed (after hours) my new batteries. They tested and corrected my inverter system to give me the best result. Companies and people like this are hard to come by! Then a few days later Usher (the owner I think) gave a courteousy call to see if I was happy. I am thrilled!! These guys are the real deal and I wish them the best and keep up the exemplary service!

Great workmanship!Caprica Solar has a young, energetic, knowledgeable & experienced team that advised and guided my research process for my solar back-up system on recommendation from my trusted neighbour. From that time, they became the obvious choice to perform the job for me. The process was flawless – the equipment arrived timeously, and the installation which involved work on roof for the panels, ceiling for the batteries & DB in the kitchen for the tie-in, was all done with minimum inconvenience to my family and I. Loadshedding and Eskom power outages are more bearable now – there are no worries about activity interruptions, generator noise & long electrical leads into the house (from the generator). There hasn’t been anything that requires me to call on them yet, but they have been courteous enough to follow up with me a few times after the installation to check if all is well. A special tank you to Asher, Khuthadzo & Fiona! Great work & support!

Stay away. They promise a lot. Then take your invester and ignore your calls etc.

Asher and his team assisted me with my broken inverter. It took longer than expected, probably due to Covid, but at the end I am a happy customer.

Still waiting for inverter from November 2019. They dont answer the phone or reply to e-mails. Wont recommend them to anyone

Received an email from them saying I can bring my inverters in any time...they are open. Got there at 10am & the shop is closed??? Didnt answer the phone either??

I waited very long how ever the covid 19 did restrict access to the premies and repair schedule

I had an Axpert 5kVA inverter that the Agent (Mustek in Midrand) could not repair and they took EIGHT weeks to tell me that!!! CAPRICA repaired it and couriered it back to me within a week!!! What a relief! Thank you, Asher and Kumbu.
