Lancet laboratories are useless, unfriendly and have a superior attitude. Would not recommend unless you have patience!

The nurse who did my vitals was extremely unfriendly! To be sick n see sulky faces isnt good..First time experienced such terrible care. Reception staff is amazing.

I was just at Lancet, i rushed here and made it in at 16:45. To my surprise, the sign at the door said ‘closed’. So I walked in and asked the lady if they’re indeed closed. She said yes they’re closed, what was more disturbing was her tone and body language. She simply did not want to assist. When I questioned why the website would say they close at 5pm, when infact they close before that, she advised that they only see patients until 4pm, and do their admin from 4-5pm. She further advised that there is no point in taking bloods now as the guy who collects has already left. I really do not think that it is right for your website to say closing is at 5pm, when infact you do not see patients after 4pm. Had I known, I would have gone to a different branch. Really inconvenienced.

Ive seen Dr Shembe many times and shes such a great doctor. Really caring and attentive. I also visited Dr Naidoo (Dentist) today for the first time and i will definitely go back. Really good experience. Thanks to both!

I just moved within the area with my daughter and was our first time to go to intercare. From the male receptionist when calling and booking the appointment to the denist (Dr Du Plessis) & his assistant, the service was amazing and welcoming. My daughter is a scary cay but Dr Du Plessis made her feel at ease. I would definitely 100% recommend him.

Very friendly reception and very helpful. Quick Covid screening. Appointment was booked fast too.From past experience, the doctors there have always been very good, but Dr. Pienaar was great with my child and diagnosed him accurately and made him feel comfortable. Also prescribed an antibiotic that didnt taste like dogs feet.Will highly recommend going there.

Dr Shembe is by far the best!!! She has been our family Dr since she started at Intercare, she has such a friendly approach and all 3 of our kids adore her. Hubby and I feel so at ease with her, Athi at reception is also always helpful and professional. Thank you both for the great service, and care.

Dr S Shembe is attentive, so friendly and down to earth. She is also thorough and I have since opted to make her my family GP. Would happily recommend her and have on fact done so to family who are just as happy with the awesome service.

I was at Lancet today and the Ladies were unprofessional seemed not to be bothered. They made me wait for 20 minutes, after 20 min I asked how long should I wait they said they cant promise me. I was there last week Thursday and we waited for almost an hour the queue was long no proper explanation given. I wanted to give them benefit of the doubt today but I was terribly disappointed by their service again.

Wonderful service from Dr Peters, Id highly recommend her. She is friendly professional, puts you mind at ease and has an excellent bedside manner. She also looks at the problem holistically to ensure it is fixed at the root. Finally we meet the new generation of doctors weve been promised. Great service from the lady at lancet too.

Received the most amazing service from Dr Saba Shembe yesterday. She was friendly and took her time gathering as much information as she can to get to understand how to help. I appreciated the time taken and level of detail that went into the consultation. I felt reassured that the best care and attention went into everything. Great doctor and professionalism. Thank you to the entire team.

Wish i could give 0 stars. Made an appointment for my 3 year old son for 11:30 am, at 12:20 nobody could tell me how much longer i needed to wait for my appointment. I hate the fact that a doctors time is deemed more important than anyone elses. Im also aware delays occur, but then communicate to your patients waiting, especially when its a sick little 3 year old. I will never come back here. Incidentally i had to leave and go somewhere else...

I loved the service from Dr. Carryn Peters & staff until this morning. This Oct I got a bad strain of flu & have been to their doctors room 4 times. 1- paid R460+ 2-R430+ 3-R700+ and. 4-R600+. (Apart from medications prescribed). &I am still not fully recovered after 3 doses of meds and plenty of rest.I was so sick the last time ( last week friday) I needed 3 drips a heart rate reducing pill and 2 nebulizations. 1 week later Im still with a wet cough & phlegm and weaker so I called through to ask the doctors advice on which Nebulizer to buy for home use (as I was so out of it last week friday it slipped my mind to ask). I wanted to leave a msg: Hi Doc, you mentioned a home nebuliser last week friday which one do you advise I get from dischem/pharmacy? & I was going to call back hours later for a reply or leave my email the dr rooms could send a reply.I was now told by the guy at front office that he isnt allowed to give Dr Peters the msg &even if he does, she wouldnt reply. Wow!This I find odd as after a good many doc-patient communications, & over R2000+ in consultation fees (within 1 month) & Im still not better, the receptionist (& from what he said seems like the doctor too) do not seem compassionate enough to treat the case with the importance of helping me attempt to get to 100% without coming in for ANOTHER consultation. Which would be my 5th consultation in less than a month.The guy receptionist 1stly cut my call the 1st time I asked to leave a msg, which is rude & uncalled for, and upon calling back he refused to take my msg for the doctor. I even said if the doc refuses to reply I will try other options via pharmacists. This shocking to me as I am not expecting anything above &beyond, but having trusted them with helping my well being improve after so many attempts &so many consultations.I truly thought I had found our family GP but this incident makes me worried that the ability to view this months case as warranting a mere attempt to try help is beyond their services.I did not want to have to write this review but as the receptionist explained it is not their policy to give msgs to the doctor no matter the circumstances, mild or urgent, no matter the frequency of my consultations & no matter me not getting better. It is a pity that communication is barred causing this lack of compassion after 4 fully paid consults.My son has also been to these rooms 4 times this month & my husband once this month. We are paying for services and repaying in the hopes of getting better and to be turned away so harshly by the receptionist makes me wonder if the service they provide and the rules they have in place are making them forget they are working with human beings, not machines.If this is a mistake on the receptionists part or miscommunication of the doctors rooms or doctor, I am willing to discuss in the hopes of understanding why their non-communication policy failed my journey to wellness this time. It would be commendable if I even hear back from them regarding this matter.The female receptionist Judy has always been kind and compassionate. But I have told colleagues & friends this story and they advise finding a new doctor who understands that sometimes under special circumstances some communication is necessary. This is such a disheartening experience. & I am afraid to recommend this place should someone else be unwell & not get better and then be put in a place of further frustration because of the practices unwillingness to communicate or look at cases for the unique frequency at which they occur.I understand some patients ask for outrageous things and sometimes telephone consults are not charged & can get dicy. But blanketing all concerns as communication not allowed because of a few who abuse the system is certainly a way to turn away the regular people who do need help in a minimal way after placing their trust and frequent business in an establishment.I understand its a business at the end of the day, but when working in health care, a bit more compassion goes a long way.

Unprofessional nurses. Doctor made inappropriate health comments and have to reschedule for routine procedure and pay another consultation cost (not stated prior to my appointment).
