Multichoice Group is an amazing company to work for, I have been nothing short of amazed by how well they have looked after me. What a great building and the facilities are second to none. Not to mention the first class entertainment and of course the most amazing sporting content the world has seen right in your living room.

Good service on a sunday at the walk in center. They got the job done. Security at the door is silly and arrogant-put one in a bad mood straight away, however the front desk was great and friendly. They have lots of counters and all seems well organized. The staff could be more communicative as to what they are actually doing and updating etc but otherwise eventually solved the issue. Didn’t however do the transfer properly on the 3rd machine, so had to return.

I am somewhat disadvantaged when it comes to technology. I had a problem with one of my decoders. Went in just before 19:00 on Thursday evening. One would think that people are tired and just want to go home, but the energy and service was outstanding. Thank you

Two entrances. One on Bram Fischer that is two lanes and one in Republic that is one lane for vehicles traveling from the north. Vida on site. Great staff canteen run by olives and plates. There is an ATM beyond security desk.

Finding a parking spot as a visitor can be quite a mission. Come early for a meeting. Oh and you cant access the cafeteria if you dont have a access card. The security was really friendly and the golf cart drivers too.

Poor service, numbers called dont run in order, eg. they call 42 then 7720 then 5583 then 5000. So nobody knows what is happening. Secondly we call and get answers, drive from Edenvale through to Randburg, just to be informed it does not work for premium subscribers who pay ovet R900.00 a month. We were informed that it only operates for people who pay R49.00 a month or who have insurance on the Walka. Now we pay over R900.00 a month have insurance on our decoder, but no they will not give us the R500.00 Take Alot voucher but will give it to a person who pays R49.00 a month. Makes no sense what so ever. Multichoice/DSTV is daylight robbery. How poor is this? I believe it is extremely poor. KAK in plan simple South African tongue. MULTICHOICE/DSTV think they can rob people after having a premium account for around 20yrs. You guys are pathetic.

Just bought a Samsung Smart TV 7 because of the DSTV App for our weekend house with a 11 MB fibre line. The Netflix app streams and it is BEAUTIFUL on the same tv and wi-fi connection. However the DSTV App that you have to register the code on your laptop is SLOW, even if you bring the quality right down to 360 looking like an old 486 Windows 95 display. It is AWFUL ! WHY ? WHY ? Why would you bring something so BAD into the market ??? It is really something DSTV gave the SA consumer that you have to be ashamed of - this is just not acceptable :-(

After phoning several times, being kept on the phone for ages while the man on the other side laughed and joked with his buddies, we went all the way from Boksburg. Then after the equipment was checked etc. Got home it STILL DID NOT WORK. Then had to pay another co.pany R450 to fix the multichoice connectivity. This is the umpteenth time we have had to pay othet companies to fix multichoice messups.

I am so disgusted with Multichoice. They have over debited my father (83) by R1500 and cant refund until it reflects on their system even after sending the proof of the illegal debit. How can you just debit a pensioner with whatever amount you like?? He is now sitting borring money from family while a huge corporation like multichoice sits with his pension money. I think its time for the ombadsman to intervene.You dont deserve the one start I am giving you, its only there so that I can make this post 0 stars for you.

The queueing system here is ticket based which is great. You may wait a bit on a busy day (Saturdays mornings) but here is ample seating and its never long.However, the main issue is getting your problems solved. If youre coming here as I have done more times that is necessary for any one persons lifetime then youve already given up on the call centre. Good news is that when you get a competent consultant you will be sorted out quickly and efficient. However sometimes people wont know what theyre doing. I had a brand new decoder replaced, still didnt work, they changed some settings, still didnt work, finally on the third visit found out it was some small non default setting that needed changing. So they fixed but it took three round trips. To be fair, the service is always friendly and polite so it must be a training issue on the side of Multichoice.My advice is this, if you dont agree with the solution youve been given, get another ticket and rejoin the queue to see a different consultant.Oh and if your decoder has suddenly stopped working look in the queues and youll see you are not alone. When they tell you that you have to upgrade to the Explora insist on a trade in. But beware the Explora will need a new smart LNB device which requires an accredited installer who might not know what theyre doing. When youve finally had it installed properly, at great cost, dont for a second think that your brand new Explora will be without problems. Express from the US within 24 hours will intermittently work on your favourite shows and youll still be told to power cycle your decoder from time to time which is will no doubt be ironic because they wouldve told you your first decoder stopped working because of power outages. Multichoice is a monopoly and I hope the likes of Netflix, Showmax, and others provide some competition in the near future.
