Wonderful service from our waiter freeman, the poor experience came from poor management. It is unexceptionable to shout and be disrespectful to staff members in staff meetings especially if you choose to have your meeting in the center of the restaurant well there are customers. Please be better!

Great service, food is good and reasonably priced

Owner chased after a customer demanding payment for an order, only for her to realize that the customer paid for the order (receipt was presented). I would never support this store or recommend to anyone due their pathetic behavior.

Was recommended this spot by a stranger... Was told to try their Carrot Cake and I would not be disappointed. Sure enough, it was fresh and huge. Have it with fresh cream and ice cream.

Bad day in the kitchen. I ordered bacon and cheese panini. Some well done scrambled eggs for my son and french toast for my daughter. My order was scary. Lumpy cheese sauce. Completely underdone eggs. I cancelled my order. My sons scrambled eggs was runny and soft when I ordered them well done brought on a piping hot plate. My son is 1.5 years old. My daughters food was yummy though. Not sure Ill run back there after the food today. They offered to remake the order but I didnt feel like waiting another 45 minutes for my order and didnt have much faith that they would get it right the second time. Such a shame as Ive been there several times before and food is normally good. But also the first time Ive ordered breakfast there though.

A very cozy quaint coffee shop in Ferndale. Service is outstanding, food is exceptional and prices are very reasonable. As I sat down a waiter gave me a menu and took my drinks order, as soon as I made my food selection from the menu someone was there to take my order. Staff are polite, friendly and professional, will definitely add Beantree to my favorites list. A big thumbs up

Great breakfast place I have ever been to. The staff is friendly and active. You wont regret coming here. You will be exposed to a variety of options on the menu.This place is well situated, surrounded by many different shops that include the Spar, Spa, car wash, pharmacy, surgery and many more. From here, you are not far from the police as well as the magistrates COURT of RANDBURG.

Beantree is quaint café located at Ferndale Village adjoining the Spar. It boasts a simple menu with South African favourites. The service is great and the food is tasty and affordable. Its conveniently located and attracts a more mature crowd making it the perfect place for catching up with a friend or when wanting to work remotely.

Good Cake and presentation, beautiful decor, sub-par service though. Waiters can be a tad friendlier. Kitchen closes 45+ minutes before closing time? Rather close earlier than have a first time customer find out he cant order almost an hour before you close

Horrible, bitter, boiling hot coffee. Service was bad, nobody came to serve me, eventually when my coffee was ready it just sat on the counter. The staff were not busy just inattentive.

Popped in for lunch at the Beantree Cafe in Ferndale Village. New menu and unfortunately what we chose wasnt all available. But.... owner Sarah quickly apologised, sorted out our order and offered us Lattes on the house... and a hot bowl of chips. Now that is customer service!!

Highly dissapointed in the service. Ordered 2 cuppucinos and breakfast and got the cuppucinos and waited 50 minutes for the breakfast. And was then told the manager is not there and our breakfast only for 2 people will take a couple of minutes more. So we paid for our cuppucinos and left we were there from 11am till past 12:15 and was only giving a sorry for your wait. Very upset with the way we were treated and the long wait for nothing.

Its a Spar Cafe, temper your expectations accordingly. Everything is below average and surprisingly expensive for what you get. Service was slow and food took a long time to be prepared.

Nothing special about it... (sorry my view)... One of those breakfast places. Yes, yes, .. I would keep visiting this place. Its within my reach for a lazy Sunday morning stroll, gulp STUFF and come back to laze on bed. (ag, I wish someone to counter me like Marinda in Devil Wears Prada when Andrea says STUFF)... Well, what makes me to keep going. .. they are very clean and beautiful.

We walked out! We left cash on table for terrible cold coffee. We ordered a cheese muffin and an apple danish. No need to prepare - just take out of the glass cabinet- they never arrived ... we’d been there for at least an hour! It’s the 3rd time I’ve been there... no improvement of service, cleanliness or smiles! We won’t be back! 😡

Wimpy makes better coffee!! Bought coffee their this morning and it tasted terrible... Eventually threw it away... Service with a smile wouldnt hurt either

He service was fast and very attentive! We ordered the croissant royale and he South African farm breakfast, both meals were fantastic especially the croissant royale! The cappuccino and cafe mocha were both excellent! Will definitely be back soon

I feel like I wasted my money and time buying coffee and a cake so I could use their free WiFi for customers and I couldnt even log on! Their excuse...their WiFi is inconsistent and dependant on how many people are on it. My suggestion .... UGRADE YOUR WIFI.
