Very Helpful staff. I didnt get the ladys name who assisted me I think its Thandi (wears glasses).She was patient and took her time im so very appreciative of her patience with my 1000 questions.Security did a check on my items with me just to ensure all items are in the box and products are in mint condition and also helped me put everything in my boot. Absolutely unprofessional.The website says they were open today, but we travelled all the way from Sunninghill to buy a vinyl cutter as a gift for my friend, only to learn that they were closed.So many customers came to this place only to learn that they were not open.Another disappointed customer recommended a company that could help us today.

Very rude staff, they will make u feel like u must beg for service, honesty if anyone knows any alternative place to get the goods from, please I advise u to do so from my own experience. U go to the store in Randburg, all the staff members are busy passing u right left and center even if you ask for help, u call them online no one answers. VERY PROFESSIONAL INTEMS OF BAD SERVICE

Terrible service, you feel like you are a burden to the staff working on the floor, just yesterday I went in for repairs for my vinyl cutter, I asked the lady who was cutting vinyl who can I speak to, I need a technician, she told me to speak to one of the tellers, after about 3 minutes another person came and told me that I must stand in the line (there were about 8 people before me), the tellers have to make a job card first, Thanks to Jaco the manager who assisted me, he was really helpful, I already started sourcing items elsewhere, I regret buying my machines etc from JG. The staff on the floor dont even smile and make you feel comfortable. Forgot to mention that I called before I came, I was told to come, the technician will check. So I dont understand why you replied that the workshop was closed.
Well not very good since Larato left. Waited 20 min after paid for clock watches to get in the store on the top floor. After 20 min i asked the sales persons how long will it take im waiting already 20 min. Sade to say they took the clocks from the shelf and when i got home there were 30 clocks but 2 different tipes. Sade to loos a very good person to Cape town branch

What a bunch of rude people working at the Randburg branch. Including the manager. Went there all the way from Springs after I called them yesterday to confirm the qty people. We were 3 people as we all are doing printing. Each one for themselves. After arriving we were not allowed to go in. Spoken to the manager and we were still not allowed to go in. Nice to make your customers a liar. Think twice before you visit this store.

Their Customer service is so poor. They put placed people with no knowledge at all on the floor, I mean who’s suppose to assist customers.I’m very disappointed, this is not the first time.

UPDATE TO OWNERS RESPONSE: Hi Jaco, I did go for the training. If you follow up, you will see that as explained, my account is truthful and should not be dismissed once again by assumptions but rather be construed as honest customer feedback. I clearly noted my disappointment at the training in writing on the feedback form, in writing to the sales rep who sold me the machine, and verbally to another lady who specifically called to ask about my training experience.ORIGINAL POST: A personal word of advise - INSIST your boxes are opened in front of you . If anything goes wrong, they wont take your word for it SO DONT TAKE THEIR WORD FOR IT!!! (you can thank me later). Boxes of new machines purchased are opened so that JG can put their branding stickers on your new machine prior to your collection. They then leave it at the shop for you to pick up.As a company I think JG is well established, good products and I havent had any issues with the lower and middle staff. Because of a lack of integrity, empathy and people skills at managerial level, I give them a 1.I bought a new cutting machine. It wasnt working and I couldnt understand how that came about as the machine was brand new. On the first cut, I immediately messaged the sales person to say something was wrong. I did what anyone would do - immediately informed the company and took it in when I had a chance. After 3 hours of trying to get it to work on their premises, the technician and Jaco came in and informed me that the blade was broken, BUT HE insisted it was at my peril. Neither I NOR them could validate this to be true (NOTE: The box is open on collection and you do not witness the opening of the box, you just pick it up). I was flabbergasted, it was a brand new machine. Purchasing a new blade quickly became secondary to how this manager handled the situation. His demeanor was condescending, and a matter of fact and when I asked if he was saying I was lying. He bluntly replied, yes, you are and told me to go downstairs, buy a new blade for my brand new machine, and then he left. I felt very accused, bullied and rather humiliated. At the very least one would expect him to have said I dont know what transpired, as far as I am aware...but unfortunately .... Integrity and respect for others is very important in doing business and thats the reason behind my rating.

I am unhappy with the service at jgs.The staff is not very helpful .Make sure when you buy anything to inspect the product first.Check the mugs for chips and the clear plastic on the name badge is full of scratches.The bottle openers is also scratched.
