We were excited to visit this beautiful restaurant based on other reviews and it’s website. Our group of 6 were all utterly disappointed by the noisy atmosphere, poor service and underwhelming food. While there is a dress code, this appears not to be enforced as we saw someone in denim shorts and flats walking about. The waitress kept pulling her mask down when she approached us to talk. The food was below average in that it simply lacked flavour and skill in execution. A few of us had the seafood pasta that had no hint of any sort of seafood taste. The portion was small, served almost cold and the crayfish was the size of a prawn! The crayfish was also over cooked and rubbery. We literally burst out laughing when the deconstructed baklava cheesecake was served due to its minute size. Overall; overpriced and underwhelming.

I come with my friends and sisters to celebrate my birthday. It was amazing. The food, the atmosphere, everything!! I loved it.

Lovely restaurant with excellent service I had a really good time here though the menu isnt very wide in terms of options. We had starters and mains and absolutely enjoyed it. I would definitely return here for another dinner or lunch outing.

Wow, we had lovely time last night. The food was devine. The restaurant deco is simple but elegant. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The service is 5 star. We tasted differ wines and loved and enjoyed our choice at the end.

This restaurant is absolutely beautiful and the ambiance is just my vibe.The food is absolutely delicious and the vegetarian meals are too die for, they actually make an effort.The staff is so sweet and so amazing. The new Ethos is beautiful however the décor is pretty much the highlight of experience, the food was nice but not as flavorful and exciting as I would expect from a fine dining experience. The service was also not as attentive and we had extended wait between courses which meant the food was not hot when it got to the table. For the price I expected a much better experience. I hope that its simply down to opening weekend teething problems.

Great food and good atmosphere. Its quiet and peaceful there. I had the oysters as a starter, pork belly for main and the tiramisu for dessert. Very impressed with the food.

A good way to spend a night out after a busy week. The food was good and the virgin mocktails were delicious. I tried their sea food linguine and had chocolate ganache for for dessert. I strongly suggest that you book before going to avoid disappointment, as the place seems to be very popular.

I enjoyed having a selection of tapas instead of a main meal. The starter calamari ribbons with squid ink risotto was incredible, it deserves to be a main. The saffron sweet potato croquettes were so decadent. We enjoyed the dishes we had. Love the light and airy interiors and decor. Highly recommend.

Never been to this restaurant. My siblings decided to try it out.Deco - design amazing. Fresh and modern.Food - goodService - greatDiversity ( race, gender, age etc) - great and diverse. You don’t feel a stranger. It’s inclusive.Reception desk welcome - could do better. Cold reception and made you to feel like you not invited or not telling the truth you meeting people. Just assume the best and be overly nice.The manager is very nice and seems hands on - we complained about the octopus meal and he removed it from the bill. Really good!!Overall, great place!

A cute hidden gem with a chilled atmosphere. We received exceptional service from our waiter Simon, he made the experience worthwhile. Drinks menu offers a variety of options however the food menu is limited. I could’ve eaten a tastier meal at a restaurant in the same suburb at a lesser price. Overall thumbs up.

We did not know the place existed until we drove past yesterday and saw people sitting inside... I live around the corner from this place in Sandown and am definitely gonna go again!The decor is fresh, the service is good, the food is tasty. The restaurant is upscale and mains start at about 200 a dish upwards. They also have tapas and salads on the menu.They gave us this bread basket with nice olives and butter spreads - it was nice.We really enjoyed the experience!

Great concept and location. Menu has a very good vegan /vegetarian selection that will hopefully change regularly for what might become our haunt! Mediterranean /greek menu also offers a good - expensive - variety of items including kleftiko, octopus and then deconstructed bougatsa for desert.Lovely drinks /waiting area and attention to detail decor is superb.

The menu promised: Orzo Paella,Mediterranean-style pasta, cooked in a tomato & saffron seafood sauce,chorizo, chicken, Namibian crab claws, prawns, squid, garlic & herb butter... What I got (in the pic) was so far from what I expected. It was a completely and utterly tasteless very small portion for a whopping price of R275. I literally felt like I was robbed. I was so, so disappointed by my meal. The ambience, service, and zucchini fries were good though.

The night i attended was quiet busy.I felt like the food was literally been thrown at us, no engagement with our waiter. When we got to the restaurant there was another digital menu we got served and not the original one we saw on the web which had very limited vegetarian dishes. My friends literally had to have shoe string fries which looked like onion rings. We had meat and chicken dishes which were nothing to brag about. As for the desert, it tasted disgusting, it was a deconstructed cheesecake which had blobs of coffee on it. I will never go back!

What a terrible experience!!! Octopus starter had zero taste, rubbery. I had the rissoto which came in the shape of a brick. Clearly been heated up in the microwave and served with no care or consideration. And to top it all off you are paying some of the highest prices in the country. This restaurant is a joke

Worst experience ever. Calamari starters tasted like rubber. Chicken orzo had like boiled chicken pieces in rice. Pork belly made me feel sick. Didnt stay for desert. Should of just went to Marble like we always do.

Great atmosphere - only 4 stars cause the desert was not as great as the starter and main course . Also if you are using Uber drop off at an Engine garage and the garage entrance...thats the only side note i need to give you!

From when we got there the staff didnt greet, the hostess gave my friend and I a funny look.The menu is veeeeey limited the food is below average the place looks way bigger on pictures. The experience was very dissapointing.. That will be the first and the last visit... The best thing about the visit was the service we got from a wine waiter named Luvky otherwise the place is a solid no for me
