We have been using Omni Accounts since 2007 and its been the best decision we have made. We have grown our system over the years from a single user Business Bundle to a 7 user Premium Bundle that includes a fully integrated ledger with Budgeting, Recurring Invoices, Automated Reporting and a report writer that allows for great flexibility. We have also been using the Advanced Data Analysis to analyse sales and stock movements on a monthly basis. We would highly recommend it for any SMME.

The deployment was not done to my satisfaction .i.e OMNI needs a deployment methodology like other ERP software (SAP). Also, you require staff with deployment experience to install & customise OMNI as per users requirements. There was no requirements gathering, project plans etc. We as users basically drove the project. Currently, we are still deploying OMNI & we are now using Digit to do this for us as they have much more experience with deployment & knowledge of OMNI. Also, OMNI needs to provide users with more in-depth training in all aspects of the product .e.g some of us users would like to write our own reports., would like a deeper understanding of the product etc. Its a fantastic product that can do a lot but users a limited to enable the functionality of the product due to the lack of training. I moved away from my previous package because of the same reason - Lack of training on the use of the product. Hope this helps.
