I was treated to a delicious savoury waffle for breakfast at this beautiful venue! They offer seating inside and outside and there is a jungle gym to entertain the kids. There are also some wonderful goodies to buy on your way out, including breads, brownies, flavoured salts and so forth.

Nice and quiet not far out of Somerset West. Coffee was awesome and Breakfast was nice. Savoury Waffle seemed a winner though on the day as I was offered a taste and it was very nice. I would also opt for it if I was to visit again. The service was friendly and the bathrooms was neat and tidy. Will visit again.

Awesome venue. Great service. Peaceful and relaxing setting amongst the vineyards. Absolutely the best steak I have ever eaten (with Madagascan Pepper flambéd). The Aubergine Lasagne (vegetarian dish) was also awesome. We will definitely be back.

The service was friendly and efficie. Our every request was graciously accommodated - we had booked an inside table in case of inclement weather, but as the weather was sunny, they acceded to out request to sit outside because it was better for our grandson, and that despite it being a busy Mothers day. The food was superb - no dish disappointed. The dessert- Creme Brulée... I can only liken it to angels dancing on my tongue.

The quality of the food is excellent. However, the pricing options were not clearly explained by the staff. This led to needless haggling at the end of the meal. In addition the waitress serving us was very brusque in her approach.

Food great, waiters and waitresses good but can be a little friendlier although may have been only our waitress having bit of a serious day . Restaurant decor is slightly old world although some may say needs a bit of a sprucing. Overall a good experience. They are well known for their pepper steak which is very good but perhaps mine should be called a PEPPERRRR! steak if you know what I mean

This establishment can only be described as magnificent, situated on a wine estate, a small cosy family restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating options.Service it absolutely breath taking ....from the warm welcome to the detailed explanation or descriptions of the food that leave your mouth watering.Very affordable and for once a place that offers real value in portions.I had the biggest steak there was and it was cooked to perfection.A very well done to all the staff @ 96 🍷ery Road

What a lovely experience we had at 96 WRR. This award winning dining experience definately did not dissapoint. The food was fresh and delicious. Just be advised that the portions are smaller than usual, the waiters do inform you about this and give you the option for a double portion if you are hungry.We tried the pepper sirloin, butternut ravioli, salmon and sliders. It was very difficult to choose a favourite dish!If you are in the area and want great food, you must make this a stop on your journey.

Total rubbish food by winelands standards. Don’t waste your time tourists. Small portions. Amature. Badly prepared meat. Poor quality meat too. A tourist friend took me here. A real joke given the great stuff in the area. Good service though - very.

Hostess quite unfriendly. Almost hostile. Not very welcoming. Apparently you have to book well in advance, but there is no indication of this front the outside.

The food is devine. The small plates are really big and well priced. I am disappointed that we ordered posh chips while both of our small plates came with some chips and they didnt inform us when we placed the order.

A must if you are here on vacation dont miss out u will regret the lovely experience also stay the night in one of their beautiful cottages or even hire the Manor house and spoil yourself or share with close friends

We went for Sunday lunch and were disappointed to find there was no a la carte menu. Instead we had to choose 2, 3 or 4 plates per person at set prices. As a very small eater myself, it is difficult for me to get through 2 plates. I had the Wagyu slider. A tiny, rather tasteless hamburger. My husband had the other 3 plates. I cant understand why I couldnt choose 1 plate for half as much. I also dont understand why food is served on a slate tile instead of a plate. The Ken Forrester Sauvignon Blanc was great.

We were 24 people who had Christmas lunch yesterday. Our first time venturing out of our comfort zone and not cooking ourselves. What an awesome experience. Every dish was beautifully presented and delicious. Our waitress Amanda was a true gem. Thank you for an all together awesome afternoon.

Lovely experience with the tasting menu, which is delicious. The waitress was great (aware of us without being on top of us) and you could see that the wait staff worked well as a team. Overall, only compliments and no complaints.

Lovely setting. Unfortunately the chairs were not very comfortable. Bread before the meal was absolutely delicious. My cob was beautifully presented and very tasty. My husbands steak and pepper sauce was delicious. We shared the pudding platter. Mostly delicious but the chocolate mousse was so rich we couldnt have more than a tiny taste each and sadly the panacotta was stiff and tasteless. The peppermint ice cream was delicious.

I was one of their first customers in the late 90s. Returned this year to rediscover the beautiful location, great service and outstanding food. Bravo to the owner Alan for creating this truly special place.

Good food and attentive service make this one of our favourite restaurants. The wintry weather wasnt a problem as the wood fires warmed the venue throughout. The pepper steak is recommended. Hot rolls get the meal started. The starters could be improved and a selection of salads would be beneficial.

Lovely venue. Good food. Not cheap but good value for money. Garden is lovely. The waitress who attended us at the time of our visit was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I will go back. I recommend this restaurant.
