Ever been to Home Affairs? This experience is worse. Tried calling for assistance on my parcel, all you have to do is PICK UP and help. Quite simple, right? Not for the staff at this Post Office. Unemployment rates are high at the moment, with people who are willing to work and have experience talking. By rating this one star, it is an overrate. Deserves nothing more than ¼ of a semicircle.

Why have a contact number if you never pick up? South Africa has by far the worst Government run departments. Staff are either too lazy or too rude!

The phone is always engaged..i have 2 parcels to pick up and i went there 3 times, travelling all the way from hillary to Escombe, usually used to pick up from Malvern Post office now they are closed permanently. On 3 occasions there was only 1 teller. I was sent in by man who said i didnt need to wait in a queue to pick up a parcel. Stood for half an hour, no assistance. And now they send me a message saying its final notice to pick up your goods. Seriously, dont you think i would of picked it up already if at least i got seen too. Im sorry but Malvern Post office was quick and efficient, pity they shut down.

Is there any other way of contacting Escombe Post Office, the phone just rings, no matter what time of day I try . . . . ..

Its too slow when you get before 8 in the morning we wait the whole day and still dont get seen too omg the Ques are ridiculous and they always say their is only 1 cashier and there are 4 register points....

The ladies are fast efficient and great service. It was a fantastic experience. I would definitely be using this branch again. Thank you ladies keep it up.

Does not deserve any stars, unfortunately Google does not allow said option. Truly revolting service. Ordered a parcel from Johannesburg - did not receive an initial notification of collection. Received a FINAL notification 4 weeks later, dated only 5 days after I had ordered the package. Post Office had obviously back-dated the collection note. Regardless, I went to the Post Office to collect the parcel within the stipulated 30 days stated on the notification, but they claim to have sent it back to the depot due to my late arrival. Rude, arrogant and incompetent staff. Pathetic customer service and poor work ethic.
