No one pick up the calls.Travelled from North West to be strunded here.Deliberate poor services.I cant digest the fact that I scheduled an appointment and a service provider leaves way before the appointment time. Service was good and staff friendly.However I really struggled to find the facility in Brooklyn. Do not follow Google directions, and the address is impossible to find once in the correct street. Its in the Brooklyn Forum building, which is directly across Brooklyn malls parking, next to the Brooklyn Court building. Go early to find correct building.

Had a pleasant experience with VFS the first time around.Now one cant even get hold of them. Their call center automated system isnt clear at all. Agents keep hanging up once you get hold of one.

3rd Party Visa Application Center for many countries in Ghana. Try to get there on time. Always have your documents intact to avoid using any auxiliary services like photocopying or printing over there due to unreasonable prices

I always use the VFS at Bryanston but my sister selected the Pretoria one by mistake and I had take her there. I didnt like the location the place is a bot dodgy and does not inspire safety but the personel and service were more patients, accommodating and efficient than the Bryanston one. Because of that I rate them with 4 stars.

Collection of my study permit was painless, it was a slip in, slip out process.It was the queueing for submission of the application in the first place that humbles you. I still dont understand why VFS makes you book an application submission appointment if they dont abide by that appointment system after 8am.

Confusion greets u at Reception. No one really knows how things work when u ask for information at Reception. They ask u to use Call Centre telephone numbers, which ring to no end without being answered. Frustrating experience

There is almost always a surprise in terms of necessary documents. Call before to make sure all your paperwork is in order.

VFS global is inside Cherry Lane Mall. Can also use the mall’s parking lot. Gove yourself an extra hour or two as its full and the queue moves slow.

You are forced to make an appointment, for which they keep you waiting anyway!! Pay R530.00 for JUST scanning my passport, of which Ive already sent in copies in my application & then they cant print a single page for you which contains a single ref number they could type in. Also they call your name out without giving you a chance to walk up to the counter & have already called the next!! Theyre apathetic, treat people like cattle. This was for a tourist visa. Ive been very passionate about immigrating to New Zealand, but this leaves a bitter feeling for me. They are expensive! And unhelpful. Not a place Id want to live! Really a time wasting exercise, and so rude to boot! :((((

A truly awful experience. VFS were late for the appointment I made with them. Then refused to print my application letter (which they do nothing with other than user the paper to take my contact details). This at a cost of R530.00. Thats not the visa fee, just the fee to scan my passport. A scan Id already sent to immigration New Zealand. Its great for them to have a captive audience.

The website says they close at 3pm.. but they actually close at 2pm

The service at the Canadian section where I applied for a Canadian visa was professional. The staff were professional and helpful. I had to wait for about 30 minutes for a staff member to arrive to do my biometrics. Once she arrived, she was professional and quick. I was generally very happy with the service. I didnt have an appointment and was attended to without any problems.

The R500 premium lounge really isn’t worth it. The staff members are friendly but I was frustrated that the form I downloaded from their website a week before my appointment was updated in the meantime and I was charged another R100 for them to fill out the new one electronically. It also didn’t mention anywhere when I booked online that not all Schengen visas can be applied for 180 days in advance and for Switzerland you can only apply 90 days before, so I had to come back 14 days later. I was well prepared with all the correct supporting documents so the premium lounge didn’t add any value because you queue with everyone else for biometrics anyway, except you get a cup of Dolce Gusto coffee.

Some of the employees are rude, they act as if were begging them to do the job. Id say if the job makes you unhappy, dont take your frustration out on the people you are attending. Otherwise, the work is handled pretty efficiently and you dont to be there the whole day.

VFS Service was excellent!!!!! We used the premium option and the lady who assisted us was very efficient and friendly. The visa process went speedily from the start to the finish.

Be prepared. Make an appointment in advance. Preferably after 13:30 when they are not that busy. Payment per person can only be done by bankcard; no cash transaction. Zee and Granny were very helpfull and the service was friendly and professional. Make sure about lunchtime between 12:30 -13:30

Get there early. Lack of parking is a thing. No need to wait at the main reception if youre going to an EU country, just go directly to the EU room (around the corner from the reception). Tshidi helped me, and I must say I am impressed by her service. It took 20 minutes in total for me to queue, submit my application and walk out. If only Home Affairs was this good.

Efficient and well run office. The security guards were friendly and kind and the clerks in the office were well-trained. Overall a positive experience, bar for parking. We struggled to find parking as there is extremely limited parking at the office.

No generator back-up, so if theres load shedding, they cannot help you. The website also does not give you correct information as to what documents you need, and they will not print anything for you. Its a far drive for people not living or working in Pretoria, only to be told to come back.

As far as visa application experiences go- this wasnt an unpleasant one at all. The process (from appointment time to issue of visa) went relatively quickly. Staff are efficient and friendly enough.

Terrible service from rude security guards. Unmarked metal detector as one walks in the door. Beware if you have a pacemaker! Very slow process inside with long queues. Crowded facility as several Schengen countries are using the same venue for applications. Only one counter for collection. Takes very long. The only person who provided excellent service was Ntkokozo Mzizi. He went the extra mile for the customer.

The usual beaurocratic hoops to jump. Impersonal and sterile. More like dealing with a machine than any sort of personal attention. In essence, a stock standard beaurocratic experience...

Visa and permit application centre in Brooklyn. The place was overcrowded on my visit. More need to be done to reduce the average time spent there.

Good service but long queues so show up early. Finding a parking spot for your car is tricky but its quite an efficient office. Love that all staff have uniforms.

Enter through the shopping centre. The VSF offices have to be entered through the underground parking. People were friendly and the service was relatively quick

It seems professional, everyone looks presentable, system seems working but not at all. You join a queue, move as someone gets help, stand up sit on next chair. Although they give you a slip with number but still.Staff is not helpful, ignorant, very slow.

Very prompt service - Ive always been helped at the exact time of my booking with no delays. Security is tight though (incl no cellphones, eating, etc. inside the waiting room), and takes a couple of minutes to get through sometimes - be sure to arrive at least 20min earlier than your booking time.

Parking area is extremely vulnerable during load shedding. Booms are left wide open and their is evidence of a number of vehicle thefts occurring during these periods. Resident security appears to be lack-luster and non-vigilant.

The entrance to the offices is around the corner from the PnP entrance. Not a lot of parking available. Security at the door is very helpfull. Although you have an appointment for 10 oclock it does not mean you will actually sit with the consultant at that time due to factors outside their control. Staff are very helpfull and proffesional. Make sure you have ALL the correct documentation before your appointment

I would just like to commend the excellent service I received from Lorraine Ramokgopha (Portuguese desk) She was extremely helpful, always a consummate professional and friendly. Lorraine is really an asset to Vfs and very good at what she does.

Waited very long for service, got notification that my passport was ready for collection and it turned out to be someone elses passport. Lets just say they get the job done but expect some errors
