One of the best Dros restaurants in Pretoria. We have been going here as a family for as long as I can remember. The vibe inside is awesome and on cold nights they light a fire for heat and atmosphere. The waiters are friendly and the food is very delicious. They have a nice variety of choices and the value for money is good. The portion sizes are nice and big and the food is always amazing.

Always enjoy the atmosphere. Service was good and friendly. Food always tasty. Pity about the porch smokers though.

Generally one has a fun time at Dros. They have a neat, albeit small, kids play area. Interacting with waiters and management is good.

We ordered through Uber eats and I must say well done Dros!! The packaging was sturdy and presentation excellent. The food was fantastic quality, unlike other chain restaurants Ive ordered from before where the take away version was not at all the same as the eat in quality. Super impressed, Dros Waterkloof just became a favourite on my Uber eats app.

The bar staff are the best and they always remeber us even after lock down... Always Friendly and we can see they work as a team.

My 4th time here. Had the eisbein today and wow it was delicious and too big for me. If i finished it all I would have had to be carried home. Good food, cold beer and friendly service. Very lekker

Firstly Im from Cape Town on a business trip in Pretoria, just wanted a good meal. Ordered a T Bone steak medium. Started eating it was nice, then towards the middle it was very rare, told the waiter to please recook it, manager brought a new plate, was still the same, was not satisfied just paid for something I did not enjoy and left. Very unwelcoming indeed.

I was pleasantly surprised, not normally a Dross fan as have not had good experiences with other locations but having to wait for Takealot to open we decided to grab a breakfast to help pass the time. Friendly waiters and tasty food have even revisited again to have a lunch

The food was good and at a fine price. We sat inside and it was a bit hot and stuffy. The dark old-fashioned interior reminds of an English pub. Caters for families and offers all the favourite, expected dishes. Big portions.

Nice place to grab a beer or watch a game. The food is average and the biggest problem is that youre literally sitting in a parking lot.

This is the first time I have visited this particular Dros. Decor is typically Dros, so if you have been to one before, you wont feel lost in this one. The food was good although not particularly cheap. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service prompt and efficient.Its position is a bit off the road, so it is not a convenient Dros to get to, unless you are in that area for any reason. However, if you are in the area, it is worth a visit.

Food is good.Prices are decent - they have some nice specials on certain days.Service is good as well, staff are friendly and helpful.You get what you pay for and the restaurant delivers as advertised.During the warmer seasons there are tables outside in the street but not in the way of cars. Very rustic and lovely to have a beer and a meal under the open sky.There is a full bar and the restaurant is separated so you are not bothered by either patron.There is a play place for the kids as well.Not my favorite type of restaurant (I prefer smaller, artisan-style eateries) but I would definitely meet someone here for a drink and/or dinner again.

The worst part of this Dros is the only toilets are in the smoking area. So by law this plalce is not child friendly. Although they allow kids in their smoking areas

I have supported dros for many years but i ordered food tonight. Salad was horrible, chicken schnitzel was chewy and a bit undercooked, chips where soggy. Cheese cake was horrible and portion wasnt worth R20 but you charge R50. Utterly disappointed.

Their Sunday lunch is highly recommended. The oxtail is a winner.

The Chips & Calamari was cooked in very old cooking oil. Not a place to buy seafood. However other members of our party had Burgers, that was better prepared. Ambiance was good.

Always a great gathering point

Friendly and welcoming staff. Shift managers make a point of personally greeting the more regular visitors. Worst service I have experienced would be classified as passable, and would be the norm at other similar priced restaurants. In general the service is very good and the food great.

Excellent branch of a generally good franchise. Attentive service, very quickly produced and delicious hamburger, chilled beer, superbly clean toilets, parking right at the door, condiments tray well furnished. What more could one say?

Great place with great friendly service, we were a group of 15 and not once did we have to wait for service and or drinks.. The food came at the same time and the service was speedy.. I personally had the rib and steak combo, medium-rare, the steak was done to perfection and the ribs was off the bone tender, perfectly prepared and with a nice sweet basting.. Will definitely suggest the ribbs...!!! Come HUNGRY!!!
