Saturday morning: Gate guard under the influence of alcohol. Everything locked up. Nobody at office. Restaurant closed. Premises in state of neglect. This is a farming museum. Why is there a ndebele homestead? Pathetic!!

Willem Museum is between Pretoria and Bronkhorstspruit. It is a historical farm which even today is still a working farm. It is a great place to take the kids to educate them on the history of farming. There is a large collection of means of transport as well as historical farming equipment. There are daily demonstrations on various skills that are disappearing from our society. There is a picnic and braai area. It is well work the time.
