Hatmed is like home for me, it has been that way since coming to Pretoria for my first year. Dr Kotzè has been my doctor from the beginning and my experience with her has been absolutely amazing! The way she handles her patients is incredible, she goes out of her way to make sure that you are helped in every way possible. I love how she is always interested in knowing and understanding all her patients, this makes you feel like you are being treated by your own sister — the whole experience is comfortable and absolutely amazing because of the special rapport she creates. I big thank you to Dr Kotze for her consistently incredible service!

On behalf of my family and especially my father who has just recently recovered from a very very serious case of Covid, I just wanted to thank the doctors at Hatmed rooms and the Covid clinic for their amazing and tireless service. When my dad went for his Covid test, he was examined properly and his vitals checked- and he was immediately put on antibiotics etc and strict instructions to keep an eye on his vital signs, and we firmly believe that this swift action and care is the reason he survived. His comorbidities meant he was at a big risk for serious illness, and instead of just getting a test he was sent home with a regimen of medication, blood tests and X-rays and we managed to keep him out of hospital. We’d like to thank Dr Sonia Kotze in particular, who despite seeing us at the peak of infections, would still check in daily and offer advice as we needed. When it looked like he was going to be admitted, she phoned around to find a hospital bed- calling me at 5am when her day starts to let us know she had managed to find one. We’ll never be able to properly express our gratitude for going over and above at a time when she, and the other doctors, were so busy. We appreciate all the doctors and staff who have had to work this hard. You are saving lives every day, by your extra attentive care.

Hatmed has been my go to clinic since 2016 and they have always been helpful. However today I recieved the worst treatment at the covid-19 center. I had to greet the doctors on site, Dr. Kotze and another lady 3 times before they even looked my way. I told them I had covid symptoms and said i should take a seat and they would attend to me soon. Shortly after a white lady who also had covid symptoms came after me and they assisted her on the spot and gave her papers to fill out even when she came after me . Another couple came and they were also assisted while I was still there waiting. Dr. Kotze is racist and unhelpful towards black patients. I even left without geting tested or treated.

A place to be if youre looking for efficient emigration medical services. I wouldnt mind working there either. Such Friendly staff, truly amazing.😊

Dr. Eliz-Mari is a wonderful, professional, sensitive and very knowledgeable physician and she really takes time to understand a medical problem presented to her. She goes out of her way to assist you, as I have experienced this Sunday at the practice. I would strongly suggest her for your next appointment at Hatmed.

Dr. Delport was extremely helpful in referring me to a specialist for my knee. She went through the trouble of giving me a follow-up call to see whether or not the specialist could attend to my needs, which is a true testament to how much she cares for her patients. Definitely would recommend her!

Before I go back home for the holidays, let me send a note of gratitude to the Hatmed Team from the Reception Ladies and to the Doctors especially my 2 most favourite people Dr Kotze and Dr Delport..... 2 amazing ladies that are always friendly, courteous and very professional in their manner irrespective of who you are...... They always make time and give me personal attention when I consult with them...... I commend them for their friendliness and professionalism...... Thanks again and take care.... I recently went to Hatmed,had the worst breakout ever. I was helped by a caring,sweet Dr Kotze. As a female she helped me beyond her profession. She is so selfless,irregardless of who you are/how you look. She called me a week later after consultation to check-up on me. Get yourself Dr Kotze when you visit Hatmed! A friendly person she is.

This has been our family physician since early 96. Have not seen another doctor for family issues since.All the ancillary services available at one place . Very central, safe parking and great doctors with good support staff.Practice has a large covered parking area under the building so there is no need to park in the street and be bothered by in promptu car guards.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TRAVEL CLINIC!I went there for travel vaccinations at this travel clinic, they are cheaper than other Travel Clinics and the female doctor that assisted me today was extremely professional and helpful with discussing my travels and what I should be aware of when visiting abroad.Please also note that they, like all, travel clinics only accept cash (hard cash or card) when paying for any travel clinic services including vaccinations. Medical aid companies in South Africa do not pay for this additional service!

I have been to a lot of medical centres but l have never come across more professional and accommodating ladies than the ladies at Hatmed. l dealt with Kiki and she has provided above and beyond services and am humbled by this ...

Needed an immigration medical exam. Cape Town waiting list was 46 days. HatMed could get me an appointment within a week. Friendly, professional staff who did a great job with my immigration medical exam. Even phoned me after hours to let me know the exam results.

I went back to Hatmed after not being there for many years. They are very good, Receptionists are very professional and Dr Lingenfelder is a very good Doctor . Happy to be back with them as family Doctors .

Ive been coming to Hatmed since 2016 and Ive always been helped by Dr Lingenfelder and his been so amazing. Recently I seriously needed urgent medical attention and he was not available so I went to Dr Kotze. That was the biggest mistake I made, she is rude and racist, going to her has been such a waste of my time because Im still feeling sick.

The first time we went to this medical centre was out of necessity but now it is my families go to place. I have been to other facilities in the area and they need to learn a thing or 2 from Hatmed. All staff and doctors are very professional. Even when its full, the waiting time is not too long.

The receptionist must work on her phone call skills. If you dont want to answer the phone and be polite then you must not be a receptionist. I talked to the receptionist on thursday and she was very rude and curt. Think Ill look else where for a new doctor because if you cant even manage your staff in the front I dont want to know about anyone in the back. (by the way Ive been coming to this medical centre for the previous 4 years)

Absolutely love this practice, a bit of a wait for a consult but nothing too out of the ordinary. I went to this practice throughout my varsity days and I still do so now despite having moved to Midrand. Ask for Dr Lingenfelder, he is an awesome doctor who takes his time to address your concerns/ease your paranoia, whatever the case is... I would definitely recommend Hatmed to anyone in need of a doctor.

Dont go and see Dr S. Kotze. Shes racist, insensitive and mean. Barely even helped me. Would go for Dr Thusi or Dr Delport..

I called and asked whether they do the yellow fever vaccination and whether they take medical aid and the lady at reception said Yes. However when I got there I was firstly addressed in Afrikaans by the receptionist (oldish lady with short hair), I just went to a different receptionist who was a coloured lady. She helped me and I proceeded to get my vaccination. However when I was meant to settle my payment method, I was now told that the travel clinic doesn’t take medical aid and had to pay cash.Its Discovery Medical aid, I sincerely dont understand why I wasn’t told before hand cause I asked. Very disappointing

Great service from the team at Hatmed. The ladies did not hesitate to help me with an urgent appointment as I was only in the country for 4 days. Thereafter, the complete service package was just a wonderfull experience. I will definately reccomend them to anyone.

The doctors are good, but the receptionists! I called to make an appointment, the receptionist told me I must just come and slammed the phone down. I had other questions! I also dont speak afrikaans, after thats established why do they continue to address me in afrikaans? Im happy Unimed is opening around the corner so I dont have to deal with this.

They don’t answer their phones so you cannot make an appointment.

The receptionists are not professional at all. You come to reception and they ignore you. They are very rude and unprofessional.

Radiologist department beyond slow. have been waiting for three hours to get a TB certificate, photo taking also unprofessional . Also had to wait at drs over an hour, even though you are a paying customer they say they will squeeze you in between other clients. Dont understand the logic get treated like a random off the street even though lay thousands and make an appointment weeks in advance. Useless

Dr Lingenfelder is an absolute gentleman! Good, fast, affordable medical care!

The nurse is extremely slow and uncoordinated when dealing with patients. No-one is ensuring that patients are called in the order in which they come in. I waited 1 hour 20 mins for a 1 minute administration of a yellow fever vaccine and watched everyone come and go before me. Unacceptable. Worst service experienced in a very long time.

The Drs and staff are friendly always willing to help. They will walk the extra mile for you....

The doctors at Hatmed are really great, however I have not had the best experience with the dentist, after putting in a filling my tooth became incredibly sensitive and has been getting worse since, each time I go back she simply says if its still sore in a week come back and doesnt do anything about it, I was happier with my little cavity to be honest. I dont think I will return to the dentistry department at hatmed

I phoned to find out whether I could be helped immediately whereby I was told that of course I will be helped immediately. On arrival I had to wait for a doctor to become available before I can be helped.
