Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Happy, beautiful horses. Good knowledge about horse care and riding, and always willing to share knowledge. Great holiday programmes for children, where they learn what it takes to care for horses. Will highley recommend them to novices and experienced riders. My daughter and her friends enjoy riding there

Great place to learn about horses and do some very basic riding. They do also offer livery at competitive prices.

This is a special place. In 45 years of horse riding at a variety of commercial stables, this one is the best. An incredible relationship with the horses and an ethos of riding that is special to observe. It is wonderful to able to handle a horse off the mouth as too many places rely on bits that cause hard handling, particularly as many people state they can ride at a higher level than they actually can.My 7 year old went on a side track with one of the guides and she felt incredibly secure. I really like the respect for the environment in terms of keeping the more sedate rides for the heat of the day and taking more experienced riders when it is cooler. This respects what the animals would be doing in the wild and these horses are free roaming most of the time.This is a special place and people should go there with the ethos in mind. A hidden treasure.Thank you.

It was a beautiful afternoon, well spent doing some horse riding. It was a bit scary at first but the staff is friendly and they take you through everything. Step by step.

I really enjoyed my trip there Im too big for horse riding but my wife and daughter enjoy it tremendously. The facility is still under construction but the same warm friendly service we had at the voortrekker monument is here as well. Lots of work is being done to establish a super experience in future but right now its great to drive out to the farm and enjoy the nature and the horses!

The staff were friendly and helpful and the ride was very approachable for us (we had never ridden horses before). The trail was very nice with a beautiful view.Overall the experience was great and wed love to go again.

Very professional. Booking was made quite ahead in advance, but they reminded us by sms which helped a lot. They were so friendly and helpful. Our children are not used to horses but Siobhan and her colleagues were just awesome with our kids!

This is a beautiful place with amazing staff. There are horse riding lessons weekdays just before your ride. The staff guides you through if youre a beginner; helping you get on top of the horse and showing you how its controlled.Youre totally safe riding in the nature reserve; theres one experienced staff member leading the way since they only take certain routes and one can easily get lost. Moreover, there is another trained staff member riding at the back of the group to ensure that everyone is safe.Its a lovely experience and atmosphere overall. You get to see the city from a different view.

Great plece to ride!! Well mannered and trained horses. Beautiful farm setup the horses have space and time to them selves.

I enjoyed my ride a lot. I am still a bit embarrassed because I got lost and we got there late. So definitely going again on an hour ride. Theyre prices are also reasonable.

Not my kind of yard, sadly. Very sadly because the people were really friendly, the horses were sweet tempered and well mannered, and location is central and pretty spectacular, with some really pretty and technical trails. Our advanced 1 hour outride consisted of cantering full tilt for almost the full hour, over all kinds of terrain including tar road, concrete, and loose stones. I suspected my horse was stiff and footsore when I mounted, and was already sweating, but no time to check on that as we were into our first canter (over rocky ground) within a few meters of the gate. By the time we got back my horse, who was a very game little thing, was blowing hard, dripping in sweat, and had tripped several times. A thrill, I suppose, but not the way I want to ride. Felt sorry for my horse the whole way and would never ride my own horses that hard over ground that, well, hard. Was hoping to have found a place I could ride regularly, but instead I wont be back.

Peaceful area where you dont just have to ride some horses as you can also book the Cape riding lapa where you can braai or picnic and just have a relaxed day with family or friends. Located on the same premises as the Voortrekker Monument.
