I left the school after June exams and my mom was requesting my report for a year and I still have not seen it and I was repeating grade 8 and really wanted to know how I did. There are 30 to 34 kids in a class and students dont get individual attention that some students need including me.

Pretoria High School for Girls, or PHSG, is a full-government, fee-charging, English-medium high school for girls located in Hatfield, Pretoria in the Gauteng province of South Africa. It is the sister school to Pretoria Boys High School. The high school was founded in 1902 by Lord Milner.

This school was the most amazing school I ever went to. I loved every moment of it and I grew so much as a person there. The teachers and people in the school were absolutely amazing.

PHSG is one of the top schools in Gauteng in academic achievement. They are listed in the department of educations top 100 list. PHSG has a rigorous academic curriculum,from 2004–2009, they have had a 100% Matriculation pass rate. PHSG also won the Most Improved Schools Awards of 2007 together with 10 other schools around the country. They won a prize for Excellence in Mathematics because 138 students attained a higher grade maths pass mark. It is in the top 5 public schools in the province.In 2009, the school had a 99.9 percent Matric pass rate. The school has also been recognized as a circle of Excellence School by the Allan Gray Investment Management.The motto of the School is We work in hope, and has a Latin equivalent, Prosit Spes Labori. Its a memorable place.

What is up with the poor performance of Grade 11 maths students since the beginning of the year. The department needs to intervene... not even extra lessons are making an impact.

Having seen the U/16 Pretoria Girls hockey team play on the Grey College Bloemfontein Astro I can congragulate them on there persistence.They applied themselves well and defended to the best of their atlethic ability.The game was fairly well paced and the team geled well together as a unite.Well done to there coach and well done to the whole team.This was written or typed by Miss Makubutu Nonkululeko Kgothalo Lekota.

Everything about this school is disorganized the teachers very rude to the students the teaching methods very bad and the teachers don’t want to be bothered by a student that doesn’t understand and try to ask for more clarity really disappointing my daughter started there this year coming from the best school in another but I am so disappointed by the way everything is done my daughters standard of learning has dropped very badly and the teachers are not concerned.if I knew how the school operates I would not have taken my daughter there I feel like I have failed her academically.Something is very Wong and worrying at Pretoria GirlsHigh seriously wrong,
