Weve enjoyed the bed, clean blankets and warm water. The disadvantage was parking space was too small, theres too much noise even early in the morning.

The place is not clean. Starting from the bathrooms, they are not clean at all and toiletries supplied are the used toiletries, for example for the two nights I have spent there when we arrive the toilet roll provided was the used one (half), the following day was the same, they brought used toilet roll. The aircons in the rooms needs some maintenance, they produce some black stuffs and scatter them in the room. The WiFi connection is also poor, some rooms dont have a network coverage. I hope their service will be improved

Visited the Blackwood Guest House today and nothing has been improved,i mean dirty rooms,no towels,basin are leaking and the worse part there are mice making noices in the ceiling,i really regret for spending a night there.what a horrible night i had 💔💔😭😭That was a complete loss of my hard earned money.i wont recommend anyone to visit the place

This place is a dump, it does not even deserve one star. On check in we found a rude guy who behaves as if we are disturbing him. No courtesy or anything.The room is worse. It is filthy with a cigarette stub lying around. Everything is not working. You dont even know who to complain to as the only person around is Mr Angry. There is a quarter one ply toilet paper made of cheap material. No towels as advertised. It is maybe a brothel and not a guest house

The rooms need maintenance, the toilet was making funny noises all night and it wouldnt flush, then there was no electricity for a whole night this place needs to get things fixed.

Pool is clean, rooms not so clean.especially the 450 ones. Was not entirely happy, its in a nice location but was disappointed when i got into the rooms. Hallways are also dirty, there was even water flowing there on the ground. It needs spring cleaning. The staff is friendly though, and there is a 24hr convinience store

Their bathrooms are filthy and scary. Theres no towels provided. There is no towel rails or anything to hang your own towel. Their pillows are very dirty. Theres inadequate utensils, and their rooms are too small. There is no parking, they will wake you up if someone else wants to drive out earlier than you. And as said by other reviews, its a first come first serve situation even if you booked online.

I would not recommend the place to anyone. My friend paid for her stay but had to cancel due to factors beyond her control. It was cancelled 2 months in advance but she is still getting the run around when she asked for her money back. The lady at reception says she cant reveal the identity or phone number of the owner. This place is pathetic. This is my first time here and will surely be the last. The ceiling is falling down piece by piece. The shower is a safety hazard. The bed occupy the whole room, thats how small the room is. The wardrobe is broken. I cant believe that they expect people to stay under such hirandious conditions. Im out of here today, never to return again. I would definitely NOT recommend this place. Its disgusting!!! By the way, heres cocroaches and flies in the rooms.

This place is in a good place or location but the owners they dont give a damm about a place. When I went there I was so impressed because its Pretoria. Everything its a turn off. Outside the place is interesting but go inside the room is bed from the kitchen, to the bathroom its bad. Its even worse the place is next to Union Buildings.

I booked a single room. Looked very nice from the pictures but my God. The room has no air-conditioning system nor a heater. I froze. Could not even sleep. There is a, TV but it was non-functional. Cleanliness Id say fair. But nah I aint going back.

I booked and paid two weeks in advance but my emails to confirm booking were not answered. On checking in I was informed that no room was available despite having the booking receipt. I was sent to another guesthouse that was dirty and with poor service. I ended up paying extra taxi fare for the extra distance and time. I was very disappointed.

Ideal for one person or a couple that travels on a low budget. Unfortunately my room was so close to the aircon that made so much noise during the night that I hardly slept. Something that def should be looked at.

Located in a nice environment. Their staff were very nice. However, they misplaced my personal towel. I had skin irritations on some parts of my body especially my face, probably I reacted to the water after taking my bath.

Would not recommend the place to married couple, nothing close to what you see on the picture. I didn’t sleep there cos already it looked ver untidy and it was already showing how noisy it’s going to be. We wanted to do a cancellation as we had booked 3 nights but we had to wait for more than 20 minutes for whoever Earnmore to assist with the process but he took forever and so we left with a threat that they would take a full amount. I don’t recommend it to married people truly.
